Ledo Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Lusby, Maryland

We had a large of of food delivered for 25 people, a variety of including pizza, wings, gyros, and salads. Crew really liked it.

The food was good but the wait was outrageous. It took 20 minutes for a fried ravioli appetizer and tossed salad, another 40 minutes for a medium pizza. Only one server working the tables. Not her fault but everything was way too slow. I don't think they have managers, never saw one come out to help. The wait at the door for people to pick up take out seemed worse than the tables. I heard several people complaining they were told 40 minutes for a pizza only to arrive and they still were not ready. 2 people asked for refunds. I like the food but not worth the aggravation anymore. Poor management. It's been like this too long g now to be anything other than managers who don't know what they are doing nor will they get their hands dirty and help. read more

Horrible from the ordering to picking up the pizza. The toppings were incorrect and pizza was cold and greasy. Lost our business for sure ! Yuck read more

Waited 45 minutes for a small and large Pizza only to find out they burnt the large pizza. They cooked another so had to wait an additional 40 minutes for the new pizza. Suggestion: offer something complementary If you're gonna make a customer wait that long for your error. read more

Fresh mushrooms...red onions...thick pepperoni...a full [to the rim!] pint of draft...attentive service ~ what could be better ?? AS A RULE, I prefer tomato sauce a little less sweet and the crust a little yeastier, but this meal was just what I was looking for. read more

We had ordered the all you can eat salad/soup combo. When we had asked for the second order of salad, we had asked for double meat and cheese on the salad (instead of ordering a third salad to get some more meat) to save on food waste. When we got the receipt, they had charged us extra for the double meat and cheese even though it was all you can eat??? read more

Always nice service , Got vegetarian calzones wer just as good as meat calzones. Ambience was nice great service not too busy , quiet .

Never leave bad reviews but such attitude at this location! After waiting 40 minutes for our pizzas to be done, I was informed that the order did not go through even though I placed it on the phone. No apology and still charged full price. Save your time and money read more

I came into the restaurant around 3PM. The person at the counter said are you eating in, I said yes. She said find a seat and I'll get someone to wait on you. Obviously, there is no protocol when someone sets down for a meal. I waited ten minutes at most and no one even came to the table to ask me what I wanted to drink. I was certain that I might not have come at the proper time for lunch but someone should have come to the table in five minutes. Poor service. read more

Yummy pizza and cold beer! Would recommend to friends and family... What more could you want read more

The service here is always friendly! Food came out on time and was very good! Will return here!

You can't beat Ledo's pizza especially if you like thin crust. Actually everything on the extensive menu is delicious, eat in or take out we have never had anything but great service. I love pizza and Ledo's is my favorite. They do serve wine and beer at very reasonable prices which is a plus. Support our local restaurants they were devastated by the scamdemic. read more

You're going to be surprised but this place has one of the best cheesesteaks around, and this philly boy should know. I was surprised.

We ordered pizza after discovering meals are frozen then microwaved. Pizza arrived a little cold, soggy crust, altogether not a good experience. Finding a good Italian cuisine in Southern MD is a challange. Use to frequent the original Ledos in College Park years and years ago. Sure miss that place. Staff was pleasant, enviorment ok read more

Omg the chicken wings and that spaghetti and meatballs was off the chain!!!! The price and the service was great!

I've never really had a major unpleasant Ledo experience. This is one of my favorite pizza chains to eat at. I'm literally in love with their spicy toasted ravioli-best thing ever created! This particular location always has fast service and fresh food. What's not to love! read more

Placed a take out order. Bowl of soup and a pizza. The pizza was soggy and could not be picked up. The soup was tiny, take a look at the photo. Maybe six ounces? We won't be back. read more

Great first impression. The wait staff was kind. Our waitress was very knowledgeable with good direction toward a dish we might like best. Delicious food! We'll definitely return! read more

Staff won't acknowledge you until you comment on their gossip, then look at you like, "how dare you interrupt us." (It's not just the teenagers. What happened to leading by example?) When you are served, you're made to feel like a burden then tip jar, not a customer. Please understand you will not receive a tip, compliment, or whatever else you're so obviously expecting if I do not receive pleasant service. An eye roll and comment as I'm leaving doesn't increase your chances next time, either. We use to love their pizza. Not sure what happened, but our last few orders have been burnt, soggy, or cold. One corner of our last pizza was nothing but sauce, but apparently "it's suppose to look like that," (even though the rest of it, and the advertisement said otherwise.) They refused to fix it, so we refused to buy it. After several issues, I left a message for the manager to contact me. A few days went by with no response. A few more tries got the same result. (Twice a week for about a month.) All I had said in those messages was my name and number, and that I wanted to discuss some concerns. One day, I'm finally connected with the manager, and was (not even greeted, questioned, anything) immediately told, "I got your message, OK," and hung up on. Now I see why the staff believes their behavior is acceptable. OK, you got my message, but you won't again get my business! Did I mention these mannerless gold diggers also run the other two Calvert locations? So as a company, they've lost business from a family of five. Hope those tip jars survive! read more

Worst place in lusby. Sat here for 20 mins with no service. It looked like only 2 people are working. Not a single one came over and even took our drink order. We walked the hell out, never to return again and you would be smart to do the same and not waste your time. This crappy town barely has any restaurants as it is and the ones they do have, have the WORST, NON EXISTENT SERVICE. read more

Ledo's is the best pizza in the state of Maryland hands down we eat there at least 2 times a week if not more I love the food the pizza the salads the wings the hoagies everything it's amazing read more

We love their salad dressing, pizza and calzones! It outweighs the less than stellar service we have had while dining in - wrong order, no refills. We usually stick with takeout and haven't been disappointed! read more

The food is really good, except for doing take-out pizza, then it gets really soggy - but the service has always been a problem for us. The average age of the servers and counter help is around 16, and with that, an eye roll here, and a snarky response there. I know it's hard to find good help, but perhaps spend a little more time training your team on customer service! Do LOVE the carrot cake cheesecake, one of my favs! read more

We stopped in on Saturday for a Caesar salad and a stromboli. There were about ten tables of customers in the restaurant at the time. After 25 minutes our waitress stopped by to tell us our meal would be right out. Then after another 20 minutes she came back by to let us know that she wasn't sure what was taking the kitchen so long. We decided at that time to go ahead and leave. We will just continue to support local restaurants instead of chains. They seem to care a bit more about taking care of their customers. read more

Ledo's is a local chain that serves italian food including waffer thin crist pizza. In general, I like Ledo's, but not this one. The food is comparable to any neighborhood pizza joint. The pizza is really thin crusted, which I like. The service is bad. We've tried three times. One time, I got my food after a 30 minute wait, but my husband didn't get his until after I was completely finished eating. And we never got an explaination. read more

Came by after the boat parade tonight and was not impressed. We were seated quickly and drinks came out right away. The ravioli came out half warm half cold, my salad came out upside down( tomatoes, olives, meat and cheese buried under the lettuce). My soups Italian Wedding and broccoli and cheddar soups tasted bland and much like the came from a can. Meat lovers calzone came out warm. Wings were good. If we go back will stick with the Ledos salad, wings or pizza. read more

When we are visiting in Calvert County, we always make an effort to go to this Ledo!!! Always thin crust like the original in College Park and baked to perfection- To go or dining in- quality of the pizza is the same! read more

We always just order it for take out, so I can't weigh in on the restaurant service. We really like their pizza. The front counter people are usually really nice. The only complaint I'd have is there was one time that I had to wait an hour in their waiting area (which is pretty small). It wasn't supposed to have taken that long to get our pizza, but they were swamped, so that one time doesn't make me downvote this place too much. read more

I dont know why we tried eating here again. Its too convenient and close to our house so we gave in. 45 minute wait for two salads and a kid's spaghetti. Waitstaff couldnt care less even after I approached them to inquire about our food. Im done here. read more

I previously had fine experiences at this place but recently they have been having issues. I order the Italian salad with balsamic vinaigrette with fair routine. Yesterday, they game me oil and vinegar and today did not give me an Italian salad at all. When I called back to ask what could be done, the girl asked if I wanted a credit. When I said yes, she hung up. Very poor job. read more

I ordered a small pizza and 6 hot wings. Starting eating the pizza when I noticed a long piece of hair I pulled it out and continued until I seen another and another. I'm cool with an accidental singe piece of hair but when I'm pulling multiple pieces of hair out of my food I'm done . That's not all my wings also had 2 pieces of hair . If it had been just the pizza I wouldn't be giving a review but both entrees come on y'all need to do a much better job to prevent this from happening. Nobody wants to eat food that has someone's hair all in it ! read more

It's the weirdest combo, but the peppeoni and jalepeno is great. My brother-in-law turned me on to it and it rocks. I've tried it at other places, but it only works with Ledo's thin crust. Stick to the pizza, the sanwiches and pastas are just so, so. read more

Ledo's is my favorite pizza & pizza spot locally (obviously this is not NYC but we know that). The thin flaky crust & sweet tomato sauce is tasty with just the right amount of grease. Being able to grab a pitcher of beer too completes an easy, tasty, affordable comfort food meal; the final topper would be the friendly service and being a business that supports the community. When ordering "to go" the pizza is always on time. On another note, their avocado BLT and various salads are a perfect addition for those wishing to be healthy while eating at a pizza joint. It's hard for me to stray from their classic square pizza and toasted ravioli, but I like the buy one get one free stromboli or other dine in specials are a great deal and I like their tasty, chicken primavera. My husband loves their Chesapeake & bay wings. They also reward loyal customers with points, which is easy and hassle free and you receive free food! read more

My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant since their opening. Their pizza sauce is a little sweeter than others. The menu is fresh and healthy. Recently, as their menu has expanded, the kitchen has fallen short on occasion; pizza crust too doughy, plates served with cheeses melted to sides of dishes. I hope this trend doesn't continue. read more

The food is good but the service is the worst i have had in a very long time. We had to get our own kids menus, get our own napkins, never asked if we needed a refill....in fact we had to get up and ask for that as well. If your eating here you better get carryout. read more

The food is usually pretty good, I got a salad recently and it was terrible. They use bagged lettuce and you can tell. When we were there recently we ordered two cheese steaks and they were very good. I paid with my bank card. Later that evening I went to the grocery store and they denied my card. I then got a call from Bank of America saying there was suspicious activity on my card so they put a freeze on my account. Well the suspicious activity was that ledo's had ran my card thru 3 times with the same amount. When I called them the next day and told them what happened the manager said that the waitress ran it thru the first time and it was denied, so she ran it thru again and it went thru. Well on my account it showed she ran it thru two times and then ran it thru again to refund the second charge. The manager said she was sorry, but never offered a coupon or anything for my inconvenience they caused me. I wont be going back there again. read more

On a regular basis, my family and I visit Ledo Pizza in Lusby. The atmosphere is comforting and surrounded by welcoming staff members. The food is pleasing--my favorite being the meat lovers' calzone. After the first cut into the meat filled dough, my mouth begins to salivate. Every bite contains an explosion of flavor from the Italian sausage, spicy pepperoni, parmesan cheese, and most importantly--their homemade marinara sauce. The sweetness of the tomato sauce always leaves the consumer wanting more. It also is complimentary to the warm, garlic covered breadsticks. I am consistently pleased with this restaurant's meals and service. read more
