The food was good but the wait was outrageous. It took 20 minutes for a fried ravioli appetizer and tossed salad, another 40 minutes for a medium pizza. Only one server working the tables. Not her fault but everything was way too slow. I don't think they have managers, never saw one come out to help. The wait at the door for people to pick up take out seemed worse than the tables. I heard several people complaining they were told 40 minutes for a pizza only to arrive and they still were not ready. 2 people asked for refunds. I like the food but not worth the aggravation anymore. Poor management. When we had asked for the second order of salad, we had asked for double meat and cheese on the salad (instead of ordering a third salad to get some more meat) to save on food waste. I came into the restaurant around 3PM. The person at the counter said are you eating in, I said yes. She said find a seat and I'll get someone to wait on you. Obviously, there is no protocol when someone sets down for a meal. I waited ten minutes at most and no one even came to the table to ask me what I wanted to drink. Staff won't acknowledge you until you comment on their gossip, then look at you like, "how dare you interrupt us." (It's not just the teenagers. What happened to leading by example?) When you are served, you're made to feel like a burden then tip jar, not a customer. Please understand you will not receive a tip, compliment, or whatever else you're so obviously expecting if I do not receive pleasant service. An eye roll and comment as I'm leaving doesn't increase your chances next time, either. We use to love their pizza. Not sure what happened, but our last few orders have been burnt, soggy, or cold. One corner of our last pizza was nothing but sauce, but apparently "it's suppose to look like that," (even though the rest of it, and the advertisement said otherwise.) They refused to fix it, so we refused to buy it. After several issues, I left a message for the manager to contact me. A few days went by with no response. A few more tries got the same result. (Twice a week for about a month.) All I had said in those messages was my name and number, and that I wanted to discuss some concerns. One day, I'm finally connected with the manager, and was (not even greeted, questioned, anything) immediately told, "I got your message, OK," and hung up on. Now I see why the staff believes their behavior is acceptable. OK, you got my message, but you won't again get my business! Did I mention these mannerless gold diggers also run the other two Calvert locations? So as a company, they've lost business from a family of five. Hope those tip jars survive! read more

The food is really good, except for doing take-out pizza, then it gets really soggy - but the service has always been a problem for us. The average age of the servers and counter help is around 16, and with that, an eye roll here, and a snarky response there. We stopped in on Saturday for a Caesar salad and a stromboli. There were about ten tables of customers in the restaurant at the time. After 25 minutes our waitress stopped by to tell us our meal would be right out. The ravioli came out half warm half cold, my salad came out upside down( tomatoes, olives, meat and cheese buried under the lettuce). Ledo's is a local chain that serves italian food including waffer thin crist pizza. In general, I like Ledo's, but not this one. The food is comparable to any neighborhood pizza joint. The pizza is really thin crusted, which I like. The service is bad. We've tried three times. One time, I got my food after a 30 minute wait, but my husband didn't get his until after I was completely finished eating. And we never got an explaination. read more

I'm cool with an accidental singe piece of hair but when I'm pulling multiple pieces of hair out of my food I'm done . That's not all my wings also had 2 pieces of hair . If it had been just the pizza I wouldn't be giving a review but both entrees come on y'all need to do a much better job to prevent this from happening. Ledo's is my favorite pizza & pizza spot locally (obviously this is not NYC but we know that). The thin flaky crust & sweet tomato sauce is tasty with just the right amount of grease. Being able to grab a pitcher of beer too completes an easy, tasty, affordable comfort food meal; the final topper would be the friendly service and being a business that supports the community. When ordering "to go" the pizza is always on time. On another note, their avocado BLT and various salads are a perfect addition for those wishing to be healthy while eating at a pizza joint. It's hard for me to stray from their classic square pizza and toasted ravioli, but I like the buy one get one free stromboli or other dine in specials are a great deal and I like their tasty, chicken primavera. My wife and I have enjoyed this restaurant since their opening. Their pizza sauce is a little sweeter than others. The menu is fresh and healthy. Recently, as their menu has expanded, the kitchen has fallen short on occasion; pizza crust too doughy, plates served with cheeses melted to sides of dishes. The food is usually pretty good, I got a salad recently and it was terrible. They use bagged lettuce and you can tell. When we were there recently we ordered two cheese steaks and they were very good. I paid with my bank card. Later that evening I went to the grocery store and they denied my card. I then got a call from Bank of America saying there was suspicious activity on my card so they put a freeze on my account. Well the suspicious activity was that ledo's had ran my card thru 3 times with the same amount. When I called them the next day and told them what happened the manager said that the waitress ran it thru the first time and it was denied, so she ran it thru again and it went thru. Well on my account it showed she ran it thru two times and then ran it thru again to refund the second charge. The manager said she was sorry, but never offered a coupon or anything for my inconvenience they caused me. I wont be going back there again. read more

On a regular basis, my family and I visit Ledo Pizza in Lusby. The atmosphere is comforting and surrounded by welcoming staff members. The food is pleasing--my favorite being the meat lovers' calzone. After the first cut into the meat filled dough, my mouth begins to salivate. Every bite contains an explosion of flavor from the Italian sausage, spicy pepperoni, parmesan cheese, and most importantly--their homemade marinara sauce. The sweetness of the tomato sauce always leaves the consumer wanting more. It also is complimentary to the warm, garlic covered breadsticks. I am consistently pleased with this restaurant's meals and service. read more
