Management is VERY on point here and they have cultivated a friendly, neighborhood vibe that WORKS through and through. With weekly change ups and a nice side bar, this is pretty much the only place I'm stopping in to get a slice. It doesn't matter if you're on the go or you want to enjoy a few cold ones, Slice House is THE spot.

I am not aware of Southern Maryland as a destination for good pizza, but this is a cheese slice…read morethat I would have been happy with in New York. Delightfully floppy with a light dusting of what I think was cornmeal, the slice was robustly flavored in every respect. I ended up with two slices of that because they didn't have much else for me; the beverage options didn't blow me away and they don't really do salads or appetizers and none of their other pizzas by the slice were veggie. And no way could I eat a whole pizza from here in one sitting. The limitations were substantial, but the quality was unmistakable. I don't know where else you could go for a slice anywhere near this good in the region.

Now let's talk about the star of the night: the veal carbonara with the freshly made bread in house, hands down the best I've ever had. The veal was incredibly tender, the sauce silky and rich without being heavy, and the balance of flavors was spot‑on. It's the kind of dish that stops conversation for a moment because you just need to appreciate how good it is. Between the exceptional service and a carbonara that sets a new standard, this place has earned a permanent spot on my favorites list. Highly recommend for anyone who loves authentic Italian cooking done at the highest level.

I say it's interesting, because I have been here a couple times, and not been able to find anything but a couple bar seats where someone in your group is eating standing up. Now the reason why this isn't 5 stars, is ordering. Last time I tried to order take out, the website was down, and it seems they don't order a phone you can call in an order. Sadly I couldn't have one of their great pies that day, since I didn't have the time to wait there for the order. TLDR: great eclectic pizzas, seating can be hard, and ordering to go seems hit or miss via a website.
