I did not like the way the employee spoke to me. She was extremely rude when I was placing my pastrami sandwich order. For one, I do not want all of what she wanted me to have on my order. I wanted just mayo, a lot of onions, lettuce, and swiss cheese. When I ordered my sandwich a special way, her attitude towards me was not nice as she points to a sign showing what goes on a pastrami sandwich. First and last time ever going to a Firehouse Subs. The place had no AC so it was extremely hot which is totally unacceptable and there was sweat dripping down the staffs face while making food. The staff was nice but the service was so slow, probably because it was so hot. The food was disgusting. We got the Italian and the steak and cheese subs. The Italian sub tasted sweet and the bread was super soggy. The steak and cheese meat tasted good but the bread was soaking wet. The pickles they give you on the side were also nasty. How about hiring somebody that can take your order, and make it right. I ordered a steak, and cheese, with mushrooms, raw onions, banana peppers, lettuce, and oil and vinegar on the side. When I went I ordered the Spicy Cajun sub on white bread and my and on were Carmlz Onion banana Peppers, Oil Red Wine vin, and salt and pepper. It was delicious and the chicken was warm and juicy. I probably waited over 20 minuets, not many people were in the place when I got there , the place soon became full of people waiting for their orders with very little going out. I FINALLY got mine and instead of getting a freshly toasted roll , it was an old , cold & dry roll that had been sitting out for a long time. The tomato slices were thicker than the roast beef and the whole sub was completely tasteless. Even thought I was very hungry, after taking 3 bites , I trashed it . Pretty decent sub place. The rolls they use are chewy but not as crusty as I prefer. Meats are good and flavorful. I usually order through the ap where you can add or remove items from the sandwich (I'm pretty picky so that's good for me). So far so good they have always come out correct (can't tell you how hard it is to get sandwiches prepared as requested at our local places) Their prices are comparable to other local places but I give Firehouse the leg up because they have a really good reward program and also offer a free sub on your birthday.(other places usually give you a free drink or cookie this is a full size sub for free!) read more

I love sandwiches and eat everywhere. Potbelly, Wawa, Subway (on occasion) , and I love Do Dah Deli in Leonardtown. I really wanted to like Firehouse Subs, they are right around the corner from where I live. I have gone there twice. My takeaway- it's just blah. I really can't put my finger on one thing. The bread id bland, the flavor is bland and the ingredients just don't seem that fresh (I went in the middle of the day and dinner time). The people were ok, not as nice as Potbelly, but it just didn't want to make me return and spend money on a sandwich that was so unremarkable that it could have been served in a rest home. I like firehouse much better than subway. The service here is friendly and the food is reasonably priced. Also, very tasty! I'd have given it five stars but the parking can be a pain the butt. This was for a delivery order of 2 steak and cheeses with only meat and cheddar cheese. After 3 hours+ hours and 3 attempts of which the driver never showed on the 3rd attempt I'm forced to cancel the order and give 1 Star. The first 2 attempts the food was wrong and the driver never bothered showing on the 3rd attempt. 3 hours is more then enough time for them to get the order right. I love firehouse in general, and this location has mostly been a positive experience but sometimes inconsistent. One time my sandwich was made pretty sloppy and it made it somewhat unappetizing to eat. They have been out of gluten free bread the last couple of times I went and each time I've asked when the next bread delivery will be and I hear a different day from each staff member. This location is sliding downhill.  The sandwich is still good, but you always walk past a bunch of trash in the parking lot on the way in.  Inside isn't much better as the floor never seems to be swept.  Wait times are very long for a sub.  Today got takeout.  No pickles despite asking for them and there was a hair in my sandwich.  Staff wasn't wearing masks either.  Probably last time i'm coming by.  At $38 for three sub combos I would at least like a clean and quick experience. read more

I normally prefer cold sandwiches but being that their lunchmeat is fresh and they have seasonal options, they get my attention. So usually I won't say anything but tonight I watched an employee pretty much tell an older gentleman to F off. The guy had made an order over the phone and the girl forgot to make it. The guy behind the counter kept on saying "your not in the system, oh well" the guy had been there already for about 10 min so he walked out. After the guy walked out the guy behind the counter said out loud F that guy it only makes my night easier. That's kinda rude even for my standard. Then for me... my sub was made with only half the sub having meat and no pickle. I havent really gotten a pickle any of the times I been unless I made it a point to go back up and ask. The subs are delicious as always. Good bread and meat. I also like the various hot sauces that you can choose from to change things up. The multi-mix soda machine of all the flavors and the limeaid is always a hit with the kids. My only complaint is the location. They picked a hard to find spot with bad parking. This place is fantastic! My boyfriend and I go here at least once a week! I love the decor! The Dalmatian printed table tops are just adorable! And the restaurant is ALWAYS squeaky clean! Every sub we have tried has been delicious! The employees are always super nice and helpful! I love the healthy options they have available as well! (the chicken salad sandwich is my favorite!) They have an amazing selection of sodas, and that's a huge plus for us! My only "complaint" is I wish there was another choice of side beside chips, but that's my only issue! read more

I decided to go into Firehouse subs because they make a great meatball sub this was a fatal error. the product we unwrapped when I got home was far from an Italian sub it was basically a bologna and provolone with mayo and ham the seasonings were all but missing the mayo and whatever kind of "Italian Dressing" they used far overpowered any other flavor in the sub. instead of the classic sub where the bottom is attached the sub roll was completely split and the contents were placed on half and covered with the other. and last but not least the soggy sauce soaked bread made the sandwich completely In-edible. after a single bite by each of us the sub was deposited in the trash receptacle we had ramen for dinner. read more
