If you're comparing Firehouse to an Italian deli in the tri-state area, the comparison will not be kind but if you're confining your gaze to other hedge fund fast feeders like Subway and Jersey Mike's then Firehouse is clearly the tallest midget in the mainstream Hero circus. No more deals as the $5 promos are dust but the question here is would I visit again and the answer is a resouding yes. Four solid stars. read more

Stock standard sandwich shop. Nothing at all wrong with eating here. Subs are good. Place is clean. Service is what it is, I guess. Very chill and laid back. read more

First and last time ever going to a Firehouse Subs. The place had no AC so it was extremely hot which is totally unacceptable and there was sweat dripping down the staffs face while making food. The staff was nice but the service was so slow, probably because it was so hot. The food was disgusting. We got the Italian and the steak and cheese subs. The Italian sub tasted sweet and the bread was super soggy. The steak and cheese meat tasted good but the bread was soaking wet. The pickles they give you on the side were also nasty. I would not recommend to anyone, super disappointed and will not go back. read more

I did not like the way the employee spoke to me. She was extremely rude when I was placing my pastrami sandwich order. For one, I do not want all of what she wanted me to have on my order. I wanted just mayo, a lot of onions, lettuce, and swiss cheese. When I ordered my sandwich a special way, her attitude towards me was not nice as she points to a sign showing what goes on a pastrami sandwich. I didn't want what their version of a pastrami sandwich topics should have. Finally, the bread was soggy. I do not like wet bread. I could not enjoy my sandwich because it was too wet. I will not be returning. read more

How about hiring somebody that can take your order, and make it right. I ordered a steak, and cheese, with mushrooms, raw onions, banana peppers, lettuce, and oil and vinegar on the side. I got no cheese, no mushrooms, no banana peppers, and no oil and vinegar on the side. I got meat, and onions, lettuce, and green nasty peppers, which I despise. If I didn't live 25 minutes from there it would have been brought back. I will admit this is the worst I have gotten yet. read more

Wow if I could give it a negative 0 I would. The cheese steak subs were beyond cold and disgusting. When I approached the kid behind the counter he started their not cooked. That's why there cold. But we can stick in the microwave again. I'm good I said. Never again. My family was very disappointed and will never go back to any of them. When you think the name fire house you think something hot. No stoves are used. read more

Food was disappointing. Sandwich wasn't hot. Very bland. Bathroom toilet completely stopped up. Won't be back. If you want a good sandwich, try the store in Crofton, MD. They have spoiled me. Their sandwiches are made right! read more

When I went I ordered the Spicy Cajun sub on white bread and my and on were Carmlz Onion banana Peppers, Oil Red Wine vin, and salt and pepper. It was delicious and the chicken was warm and juicy. The service was good and the cashier helped me with the menu and everything else. Overall the down side of the restaurant was how in the kids table with the coloring book they were covered with bugs in the pages.Plus they were on the table as well as the trash on the fool. But the bathroom were clean and neat read more

Uber or grub hub ate or disposed of my delivery. I had to drive 25 minutes to get to subway and the staff was AMAZING, and made me a fresh order. They were so kind and apologetic even though it was t their fault. Love these employees. read more

Love the steak and cheese. Gets busy at lunch time and can take 20 minutes to get your sandwhich after ordering.

I probably waited over 20 minuets, not many people were in the place when I got there , the place soon became full of people waiting for their orders with very little going out. I FINALLY got mine and instead of getting a freshly toasted roll , it was an old , cold & dry roll that had been sitting out for a long time. The tomato slices were thicker than the roast beef and the whole sub was completely tasteless. Even thought I was very hungry, after taking 3 bites , I trashed it . For $8 , it was a big waste of my time & money and I won't be going back . read more

Pretty decent sub place. The rolls they use are chewy but not as crusty as I prefer. Meats are good and flavorful. I usually order through the ap where you can add or remove items from the sandwich (I'm pretty picky so that's good for me). So far so good they have always come out correct (can't tell you how hard it is to get sandwiches prepared as requested at our local places) Their prices are comparable to other local places but I give Firehouse the leg up because they have a really good reward program and also offer a free sub on your birthday.(other places usually give you a free drink or cookie this is a full size sub for free!) read more

Had their Cubano sandwich. Meaty and delicious. Ate half driving home and the other half for lunch next day. I'll be back

I love sandwiches and eat everywhere. Potbelly, Wawa, Subway (on occasion) , and I love Do Dah Deli in Leonardtown. I really wanted to like Firehouse Subs, they are right around the corner from where I live. I have gone there twice. My takeaway- it's just blah. I really can't put my finger on one thing. The bread id bland, the flavor is bland and the ingredients just don't seem that fresh (I went in the middle of the day and dinner time). The people were ok, not as nice as Potbelly, but it just didn't want to make me return and spend money on a sandwich that was so unremarkable that it could have been served in a rest home. Like I said, I really wanted to like Firehouse Subs. I just can't. read more

There subs are fantastic. Always lots of meat on the subs. The service is a bit slow but it can be forgiven because the food is good.

Walked in. Immediately greeted. Went to order. Unparalleled costumer service by a Ms Cori, she remembers my name and order.Sandwiches were fantastic. Would visit again. -Joshua and also Zack read more

We tried Firehouse subs delivery We ordered from Firehouse subs with Grub hub. The food was good and ordering was easy. The only issue we had was we ordered 4 bags of the same kind of chips but only received one of the bags. We did not get charged, so maybe it didn't go through the site correctly. read more

Placed our order online for rapid pickup for 7:30 pm during on 5/5 food was cool and missing items . We dont eat here very often but overall the food was terrible and it was cold the bread wasn't toasted hot sandwich my ass . Should have listened to my 2 year old and got chikie nuggies . $40 dollars down the drain calls for our last time in this place ! Manager offered I drive back 20 minutes up the road for there screw up when they have a delivery vehicle . Lmao what a joke ! Thanks for nothing . read more

I like firehouse much better than subway. The service here is friendly and the food is reasonably priced. Also, very tasty! I'd have given it five stars but the parking can be a pain the butt. It looks like they may be getting additional parking lot so if that happens, I'd change to five stars. read more

This was for a delivery order of 2 steak and cheeses with only meat and cheddar cheese. After 3 hours+ hours and 3 attempts of which the driver never showed on the 3rd attempt I'm forced to cancel the order and give 1 Star. The first 2 attempts the food was wrong and the driver never bothered showing on the 3rd attempt. 3 hours is more then enough time for them to get the order right. Order was placed at 11:30 and it is now 3pm and sadly I have to say I will not be ordering from here again. read more

I love firehouse in general, and this location has mostly been a positive experience but sometimes inconsistent. One time my sandwich was made pretty sloppy and it made it somewhat unappetizing to eat. They have been out of gluten free bread the last couple of times I went and each time I've asked when the next bread delivery will be and I hear a different day from each staff member. The staff is pretty friendly and the wait time isn't bad. read more

It's busy at lunch, but missing the add-ons is unacceptable. If they don't have the time to do it right the first time how are they going to have time to do it over correctly? Tuna salad was tasty enough and the roll was fresh. They did put on the requisite lettuce, tomato and onions but I asked for extra onions, banana peppers, pickles, and Italian dressing. What can I say? I was hungry and ate it anyway. read more

A slight step-up from Subway, very slight. Maybe I expected more, wasn't bad but Wawa literally kills this place. Bread is no better than you get packaged from a grocery store, and the meat is not even close to Boar's Head quality; that's my benchmark. read more

This location is sliding downhill.  The sandwich is still good, but you always walk past a bunch of trash in the parking lot on the way in.  Inside isn't much better as the floor never seems to be swept.  Wait times are very long for a sub.  Today got takeout.  No pickles despite asking for them and there was a hair in my sandwich.  Staff wasn't wearing masks either.  Probably last time i'm coming by.  At $38 for three sub combos I would at least like a clean and quick experience. read more

Sandwiches are pretty consistent here. Last two times the employees haven't exactly been the most professional, but they quickly make a good sandwich. I normally prefer cold sandwiches but being that their lunchmeat is fresh and they have seasonal options, they get my attention. Wish I didn't have to clean the table myself before I eat everytime.. otherwise its a good experience. Not as busy as surrounding locations making it easy to get a seat and relax. read more

The subs are delicious as always. Good bread and meat. I also like the various hot sauces that you can choose from to change things up. The multi-mix soda machine of all the flavors and the limeaid is always a hit with the kids. My only complaint is the location. They picked a hard to find spot with bad parking. There are so many other places that they could have picked. I'll still go back for sandwiches though! read more

This place is fantastic! My boyfriend and I go here at least once a week! I love the decor! The Dalmatian printed table tops are just adorable! And the restaurant is ALWAYS squeaky clean! Every sub we have tried has been delicious! The employees are always super nice and helpful! I love the healthy options they have available as well! (the chicken salad sandwich is my favorite!) They have an amazing selection of sodas, and that's a huge plus for us! My only "complaint" is I wish there was another choice of side beside chips, but that's my only issue! read more

We ordered tonight thinking it was a good idea. WRONG... steak and cheese sub was cold, bread was stale and a part of the order was missing. Done with this place! read more

Always enjoy their subs...much better than the other chain sub shops. But for some reason this location routinely seems to get something wrong on our orders both using the app and in person. They always make it right when presented with the error but it is an inconvenience....never have the same problem at the other area location read more

So usually I won't say anything but tonight I watched an employee pretty much tell an older gentleman to F off. The guy had made an order over the phone and the girl forgot to make it. The guy behind the counter kept on saying "your not in the system, oh well" the guy had been there already for about 10 min so he walked out. After the guy walked out the guy behind the counter said out loud F that guy it only makes my night easier. That's kinda rude even for my standard. Then for me... my sub was made with only half the sub having meat and no pickle. I havent really gotten a pickle any of the times I been unless I made it a point to go back up and ask. Its always the night shift that's this way. Things need to change! read more

The very best subs locally! Never disappointed. I had lunch there today! Happy to see Shamal is back! read more

Man this is just an average place. Clerk at the counter made a mistake in the change after I paid with a twenty dollar bill and the manager gave me a suspicious look. The chicken looked like a deli cut and was really no big deal. After this experience I would not be back. read more

after much thought and negotiations over what we would have for dinner my wife and I settled on Italian subs. which we both occasionally eat as a treat. I decided to go into Firehouse subs because they make a great meatball sub this was a fatal error. the product we unwrapped when I got home was far from an Italian sub it was basically a bologna and provolone with mayo and ham the seasonings were all but missing the mayo and whatever kind of "Italian Dressing" they used far overpowered any other flavor in the sub. instead of the classic sub where the bottom is attached the sub roll was completely split and the contents were placed on half and covered with the other. and last but not least the soggy sauce soaked bread made the sandwich completely In-edible. after a single bite by each of us the sub was deposited in the trash receptacle we had ramen for dinner. read more

I don't usually give 5 stars but unlike some of the bad experiences , I have had a good one every time. This place has what alot of other places don't have and that is manners. They speak to you, they are very helpful and the food is great. Everything tastes fresh and the place is ALWAYS clean. I will always come back. read more

I decided to give Firehouse another try... nope still not going there. I ordered a turkey bacon ranch, the same girl was in there but without the child this time, my sandwich came out without bacon!! New in the local area. I think it needs some time to get better, but the service was slow.

My first visit to a Firehouse sub shop - Once I figured out where to order and how the flow of things go, I became relaxed. I previewed the menu online before I went so I knew in my mind what I wanted. (Firehouse Hero) I placed my order and by the time I filled my cup and sat down at the table a person brought my sandwich to me. I must say that the bread was very good, fresh, and it made the meal enjoyable. If youre looking for a new sub shop try this place out. read more
