He works out of his home. He repaired a beloved 30 year old lamp I have used at my piano since I was around age 30, and then he also fixed back up a late 1950s lamp I bought at an estate sale that needed some updating and minor fixing. Both work great! I brought them back home and sent him photos with the shades on them so he could see how they looked in my house. He charged $45 for the one and $65 for the other and I think that was a very fair price. He does the work well and meticulously so don't expect it back in minutes. Quality and expert repairs are not something that are common today, and I'm willing to pay a good price for someone who knows what he is doing. And clearly loves what he does.
