I introduced myself and asked if I can speak to someone I had some questions regarding the Daycare they offer. Her exact words "yeah, what did you need to know..." I'm sorry but it took my breath away and I was appalled by the customer service. I didn't even get to ask my questions because right then and there I knew this place WAS NOT for me. Customer service is #1 and I would never send my Dog somewhere where I spoken to like that. Such a shame because I live so close and it would have been convenient for my husband and I but not anymore.

She always did a great job on my dogs grooming and i was happy she was still in close proximity to me. I had heard she left and since I had a gift card I brought my dog there to try a new groomer. The groomer did a nice job on my dog. I have no complaints about her at all. She was very polite and professional and cut my dog just like how I asked her.. very nice job.. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the receptionist. She needs an class in customer service!! Very rude and unprofessional. Spoke to me very nastily. The other person waiting in the lobby told me I should write a review on yelp as she could not believe the rudeness either. I'm not sure who the owner of this establishment is .. not sure if it is a person named Shawn but if it is you might want to find a nicer and more tolerant professional person to run your front desk. Since the price of my dog went up 20 dollars since Anna left I was willing to pay but to be abused and rudely treated is unacceptable. Especially since there are plenty of other places to bring your dog that are on par with your pricing or a little less.. I will be taking my dog elsewhere .

In order to continue to provide you with factual, informative feedback, this latest evaluation of that response is now posted. Ownership contends that the "pack" is walked 3 x per day. When closed circuit video was operable, clearly, the dogs within the large play area were not taken outside; this was verifiable after watching the camera feed continuously over an 8 hr period. (There is insufficient staff to walk all of the dogs, on leash, within the nearby wooded area.) Sadly, the dogs continue to relieve themselves directly onto the play floor. The suggestion that existing smells on the floor contribute to the triggering of relieving themselves is lame at best. Considering that the play floor is sanitised regularly, and that it is a sealed floor, the dogs are simply compelled to relieve themselves onto the floor; there are no lingering smells. Don't forget, a single staff member is assigned to immediately clean up after the dogs "go". With regard to dog owners using the view window to check up on their furry friends, that window is limited to the small dog play area. Unless dog owners intend to camp out at the one window, it's unreasonable to suggest that the one view window provides proof of the dogs being walked, the lack of a closed circuit TV feed notwithstanding. TV feeds for dog owners was taken down several years ago; you should be concerned about that decision.

Upon picking my dog up, I was immediately told my dog needs training. My dog has been trained. When my dog got in the car, my passenger seat was immediately filthy (see pic below) and I noticed my dogs paws and elbows had some sticky brownish substance on them and he smelled terrible. Guess that's why they want to charge you 25.00 to give the dog a bath which is what I did the moment we got home. It took my dog 48hrs to return to his normal/playful self and 5 days later, he now has kennel cough. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I had a much better experience with K-9 resorts also in Fairfield.

My dog Ben was staying at the Fairfield location when my worst nightmare as a pet parent was unraveling. I am traveling for work and am across the country, not set to return until later in the week. Outside of the heroism of the first responders, humane society and good samaritans, I cannot say enough about K9 resort's personnel as well as policy/procedures in place. Friends and family always inquire why I opt to pay to board Ben while I travel. This incident answered that inquiry in and of itself. Your emergency plan went into effect and was implemented with the outcome we all desire for live saving events. So not only do I know my Ben will be happy,loved and well cared for while staying at the facility, he will be rescued should an emergency erupt, which in this scenario seemed to be unpredictable and to no fault of anyone. After hearing that my Ben was ok and survived, the care did not stop there. Being a panic stricken fur mom from thousands of miles away, the staff could not have been more understanding and patient with my calls, questions and emails. They were so kind and reassuring with the ability to answer every single question I had while tears in my eyes on the other end of the phone trying to keep my composure. I applaud you as the leaders of this corporation for instilling this professionalism and compassion down your hierarchy. I sent pastries to the Fairfield PD, as well as the Fanwood location and made a donation to Fairfield Fire. Please reach out to me if I can do anything from here forward to honor the K9 personnel from that night and who continue to treat my boy, as well as me, as if they know how much my dog means to me.
