I was looking for a place for my dogs to go to daycare and found K9 Nanni by accident. How lucky were we? My dogs were 10, 9 and 6 months so you can imagine the variety of personalities and needs. The caregivers at K9 are so incredibly caring and gentle, the dogs are happy and my dogs are so excited when we drive up and they realize it's daycare time. The employees seem to really like their jobs which is a good sign. My dog was pulling to stay when I picked him up. At other places he was pulling to leave. I love that there are cameras and that my dog gets outside time. I definitely saw a huge difference between how my dog felt here compared to a place that didn't have the same passion for pups. Since dogs go outside daily it makes sense to have outdoor access when boarding him. It's not near me but totally worth the drive. read more

Service: Board & Train (15 days). We went in quite worried that it would be difficult to resolve some of the leash aggression & issues we had with Sophie (Goldendoodle puppy) excitedly lunging at friends and strangers. Sophie is a very friendly puppy, but given her size going above 60lbs, we needed to resolve it asap. Review: To summarize: The results were unbelievable - we couldn't be more thankful to Linda! Linda and all the staff at K9 Nanni were phenomenal in how they took care and trained our Sophie. Linda treated us and Sophie like family. Over the two weeks at K9 Nanni, she kept us up to date via videos and even invited us half way through invited us out to go through some of the progress. Linda listed to our concerns and really worked hard with Sophie. It's been two weeks now since Sophie has returned home, and we still cannot believe how well she is behaving. Some of the highlights: 1. She's amazing with people, young and old alike. She sits gracefully while people pet her. She even plays fetch with our two year old nephew! 2. Her walking is focused and listens to commands right away, even when around other dogs. This was the biggest change in behavior for Sophie. Simply amazing! 3. Her recall at dog parks was non existent before, now (with some additional tips from Linda afterwards) is perfect. 4. At home we can comfortably have people over while Sophie sits in "place", where previously when she got over excited she had to be crated and whined a lot. I have been relying on Linda and her amazing employees for years for daycare, overnights and vacations. I have never thought for one moment that our dogs weren't having a great time. Camera viewing is available during play time in the morning and in the afternoon. It is amazing how many of the K9 team are out in the different yards providing calm coverage, taking adorable pics for Insta, and time outs (like mine did in the early days) when needed. 5 stars does not reflect the level of care, professionalism, and excellence present at K9Nanni. Linda and her staff truly make our dogs their passion. Here is my story: Our pup Lucas was rescued and was traumatized very early in his life. He was very reactive -- always operating from the orange and red zone. It was very difficult to keep him balanced and sometimes alarming. Kylie recognized the gentleness in him, helped him with his separation anxiety, and along with Ashley and staff was instrumental in helping train him and bring him to a place of balance. Now his life is very different- he plays off leash and recall is second nature to him. He operates in the green to orange zone and responds when we instruct him. Kylie advised his confidence would improve if we sent him on hikes and recommended a trainer in Fort Lee who provides that service. That also helped balance and mold Lucas into a wise happy pup. In addition, in order for him to have the great puppy monitored socialization, the recurring 5 day a week daycare program is phenomenal. He loves it and scrambles out of the car to get to his human and doggy friends. We have had severe illness in our home as well as family visiting and the boarding was like a sleep-over for Lucas. He came home happy and relaxed. That's not all. The grooming service is comprehensive and by the way OUTSTANDING and is part of the package when you do a recurring 5 day full day doggy daycare. WOW! Linda and her pack go above and beyond to provide a blissful, eventful (fun activities throughout the year), interesting and very very loving environment for our dog babies. Linda and her team are the absolute best. We have a very strong willed 2-year old miniature schnauzer who despite his loud bark is a really scared little guy. From chewing my shoes to biting strangers, life with our little guy was not easy. Along came Linda.... she and her team have been working with us to train him. A week with Linda and we have already seen noticeable difference - easier to walk, no chewing, less barking. We can't wait to finish the training with her. She truly loves and respects animals and we know he is in great hands in her care. She also works to understand your perspective and has been key to a first time dog owner, like me! Prior to training with Linda, we also took our dog to K9 Nanni for daycare services. He would get home tired from socializing and surprisingly calmer. Great place, great staff, great owners! I trust them completely with my dog. Fortunately for me, a neighbor in my building recommended K9 Nanni to me and I didn't have to find them on my own. They have 3 outdoor play areas (and also an indoor play area) for the dogs to play, and my dog is quite social - she loves playing with the other dogs. Much better for an active dog than a facility that only has an indoor play area. The dogs aren't just out there playing - they are fully supervised during playtime by Linda and her team. They post videos of playtime on facebook - it's great seeing them all outside playing. Dogs that need individual play time can have it in the indoor area. Lexi is very excited when Mauro comes to pick her up in the morning - he is always prompt and arrives between 8am and 9am (usually closer to 8am). I travel at times - I have boarded my dog with K9 and they have been great. Sometimes they give my dog sleepovers with other dogs. One time right before I was about to drop Lexi off for boarding, she had just been prescribed medication and K9 had to give her pills - no hassle from them about this and no extra charge either. They are very flexible - sometimes I arrange her boarding with not a lot of notice and they are very accommodating. Most of the time when I schedule Lexi for boarding, I combine it with a day of daycare - so if I travel from Friday to Monday - she is picked up Friday morning and dropped off Monday around 6pm after daycare. I am so grateful to Linda Solano and K9nanni for their pet services. I started using them about 6 weeks ago for my new Boston Terrier puppy, Romeo. We brought Romeo home about 3 months ago from the breeder. He is a very adorable, but very naughty puppy. He is extremely busy, energetic and stubborn. I was having trouble keeping him occupied and from destroying my home! I began sending him to daycare at k9 as soon as he had all his shots. I had heard about the the daycare, walkers and Linda's training services from other's in my building and neighborhood. Linda has been a God send. She began training Romeo with an E collar, which she is also trained in. The combination of training and daycare has been a saving grace for me. I also use the walking services if I'm out for an extended period of time. They are all lovely as well. Romeo loves Linda and the rest of the staff. She is firm, but kind. Her approach impressive, nothing short of amazing. I am learning a lot from her as well. She is also training me and giving me the necessary tools to deal with my very willful puppy. We came to k9 Nanni after our sour patch kid puppy Finn got kicked out of 2 other daycares! He loves to jump and plays a little too rough sometimes. We had our dog Asher complete the 14 day boarding and training course with Linda. Prior to this training Asher struggled with basic commands and communication in general due to his anxiousness and fear. Asher was rescued from Korea and possibly experienced trauma that led to his fear of loud sounds. Linda was amazing with the whole process! She allowed Asher to complete a free day of day care for Asher to adjust to the surrounding and she was able to assess him prior to training. When he was in training Linda focused on communication with Asher and helped him understand appropriate and safe responses when he became fearful. The location on her facility was great for Asher due to the loud noises. They also worked on heel, recall and place. I can confidently say at the end of his training he had mastered these commands. My partner and I were obviously happy with his trading and obedience but we quickly realized that with Linda's training Asher had a new self confidence. After a few days home, we could tell how much more calm and focused Ashers demeanor was and you could tell he was much more comfortable in surroundings that originally frightened him. I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to work with Linda, she truly helped Asher feel comfortable and open up in his forever home. She provided updates daily and videos of Asher. I believe this was the best investment we could have made for Asher. We continue to speak with Linda on a weekly basis. She checks in on his progress and addresses questions we may have. We will continue to board Asher there when we travel and he will attend doggy day care when we go back to work! Asher loved socializing with all the dogs and other trainers. So far so great! Our puppy (will be one 9/18/18) has gone for a play-date twice now. The first time was free as a temperament test and she had a blast! So we went for round two a week later. Both times she had a ton of fun and came home tired. A tired dog is a happy dog! We got to see her on the K9 Nanni live feed on instagram playing in the outdoor space with lots of pups, toys, and kiddie pools with plenty of supervision. Scarlet clearly enjoys her time on her play dates and everyone we've encountered there has been lovely, kind, and everything you want for your pup when at a play date. We will most likely try a boarding night soon! Will report back (with positive news I'm sure) when we do. For now we definitely recommend for play dates! read more

So I was very nervous about leaving my dog anywhere. I have never tried boarding. I saw the reviews and felt comfortable leaving my son here. I met the owner when I went to go look at the place with my dog. See was super nice and very caring. You can tell she cares and knows a lot about dogs. The space is amazing, so much room for them to run around. Very important. My dog stayed for 3 days, I was able to see him on the cameras during play time. Made me feel happy to be able to see that he was okay. The price ain't bad $60 a night. I would definitely bring my dog back. I'm happy to know there's a place I can take him to while I travel. read more

As a first time pet daddy/mommy we had to deal with a few dog walkers/services for the past year in Hoboken NJ so we know all of the tricks and the crap people say to get away with anything dogs owners and walkers alike. As a result we became a little overprotective and picky about who is caring for our fur-baby. We are lucky to find K9Nanni! A family! A personable group of people with the best interest of both dog and owner at heart. Owners Linda and Tashon always responds to emails and phone calls/texts, fun and professional to work with, Linda only hires true dog lovers/trainers not just people who want an easy job and worked with us to fit with our specific demands a Husky which for some people, can be hard to handle. Our Husky love them! She's always happy and tired when we come home she's having a blast! We love the Facebook live videos feed! (She's out at around 10am and back at around 5pm) And when she's in heat we have a set time frame for just walks instead of daycare. K9 Nanni also offers overnight stays which came in handy for us when we need to travel. If you reading this you did good, please know you don't have to go through bad experiences etc it is difficult... You can learn from others and skip it! I really can't say enough good things about Linda, Tashon and the entire team at K9 Nanni. Every person on the K9 Nanni team is incredibly caring and takes great care of our dog when he's there. He comes home after daycare and is worn out from all of the play time. The interactions with the other dogs and the K9 Nanni team have resulted in some really great changes in our dogs behavior too. I can't say enough about Linda!!! Our dog Hooch is a rescue, we were his fourth home in under a year. We were having a hard time with his anxiety and impulse control. Linda took him for 14 days for a board and train. When he came back he we such a different dog! He's so good at place, he can stay there for long durations. He walks so well at heel, instead of just doing what ever he wants...you know bulldogs. He still has a little more work to go through when it comes to dog interactions, but he is such a different dog now! We adopted a Yorkie rescue, Teddy, a few months ago and quickly realized that he was extremely reactive towards other dogs (barking, lunging, etc.). While the stress of having highly reactive dog in Hoboken (where there are dogs everywhere, pretty much all day every day) was very difficult, what was worse was knowing that Teddy wasn't living the life that he deserved. He was missing out on exercise, going to the park, having proper social interactions with other dogs, etc. We researched, read books, watched videos, and spoke to and met with probably a dozen different trainers - all of whom were highly recommended and are well-known in our area as the best of the best. Several of them did in-person consults and training sessions. We tried everything under the sun. We were consistent. And yet, we saw almost no improvement. Then, we reached out to Linda, originally to inquire about her daycare services at K9 Nanni, in the hopes that structured socialization would help Teddy learn how to behave around other dogs. I explained our situation and she told me stories of other dogs just like Teddy who she had trained and helped immensely. She spent a considerable amount of time just talking me through everything. She said that she *knew* she could help him but also didn't pressure me into doing anything. She said that she understood that Teddy is our baby and we needed to choose the trainer who we felt would be best for him. We had already consulted with many trainers at this point, but Linda felt different. She also provided several references of other people/dogs she has helped recently. I spoke with each of them, and they all sang Linda's praises and told me how she had literally changed their lives. Teddy completed a 10-day board & train program with Linda about a month ago now. My impulse is to say that he's returned "a completely new dog," but he hasn't. He is the same happy Teddy that we love so much. He is absolutely still himself - but he is undoubtedly a better version of himself. His reactivity is almost completely gone. He happily walks by our side on walks, meets other friendly dogs in public, confidently enjoys the park and gets to come with us around town wherever we go. Because he is no longer constantly stressed/freaked out, he can let his personality shine through all the time. He is visibly happier and more confident. He isn't even bothered when OTHER dogs react towards him now! He gets to get out and enjoy life, and that's all we wanted for him! Linda's training program was extremely tailored. She really went above and beyond. Some of Teddy's behavioral issues were very specific to our building and neighborhood (ex: he was TERRIFIED of the gate in our building - would bark and growl at it so we pretty much resigned ourselves to never using that gate - and he had especially reactions to specific dogs who lived in our building). We also wanted him to get to a point where we could bring him to restaurants around town and have him sit nicely with us. During the board & train, Linda took Teddy into our building and helped him conquer his fear of the back gate. She helped properly introduce him - and even took him on walks with - other dogs in our building. She worked with him on the "place" command (basically, a sit/down/stay) at restaurants in our neighborhood. She made the trip over here specifically to work on Teddy's issues, and it made all the difference. I can also see how much Teddy bonded with Linda and how much he loves her! Teddy stayed at the daycare facility K9 Nanni, so when he wasn't actively training, Linda introduced him to other dogs and let him have structured playtime. She also has a dedicated team of dog walkers, and she trained Teddy's walker on everything he knows. Since returning from board & train, Teddy has been attending daycare a day or two per week and goes for his regular daytime walks with Linda's walkers - who we ADORE! It's been a completely immersive experience where everything he learns is reinforced by everyone who works with him, and everyone is on the same page about how to handle him. Behavior modification takes a long time, and Teddy is very much still a work in progress, but his improvement since we met Linda has been outstanding. We are continuing to work with her on a few remaining little issues (she comes to our apartment, which is amazing!) and she has been so kind and responsive with my texts and calls with follow-up questions! You can tell she truly cares about dogs and wants to help them live their best lives, and she's certainly done that for Teddy! I highly recommend Linda and her whole team for how much they have done and continue to do for us. read more

My English Bulldog Lollipop loves going to the playdate there and is exhausted when she comes back at the end of the day, which is really what both her and I need. I have met Linda and some of her team members in person, they are dog-lovers and my Lollipop loves them as well. I have used their dog-walking, boarding and playdate services, they are very responsible and really want to do for the dog's best interest. I'm extremely picky about who I allow to care for my dogs and K9 Nanni is on that short list. Even though they are 25 minutes from me, it is one of the few places that I would even consider for boarding or daycare. My dog Izzy, who can have some behavior challenges, thrives at K9. She gets to play with other dogs and the staff is knowledgeable and well equipped to handle her and any other dog. There is constant supervision in the runs and the dogs aren't allowed to get out of control. Makes for an enjoyable day for the pups! We love Linda. She has taken care of our Maltipoo Hudson since he was old enough to go to daycare. Hudson is now 7 months but there is no way that we would be able attend event, work late or even spend a day away from home without having to worry about him. Linda loves all of her dogs and treats them as if they're her own. Hudson is fortunate to spend his days with Linda where he is trained, gets to play and socialize with other dogs and expends energy. She's right when she says that a tried dog is a happy dog. Hudson gets excited when Linda picks him up for a play date -- that's how we know she is great with him. He comes home exhausted and no longer picks up shoes or other objects to chew on because he has too much energy. Since going to K9 nanni, our little boy has learned how to play with other dogs, share toys and water bowls as well as sit, wait, down, as well as other commands. This service has been an asset to us - hudson is now housebroken and trained. Without Linda, non of that would have been possible. She is also great with last minute walks, weekend care and training tips -- without her it would be impossible. Do yourself and your pup a favor and call Linda to schedule a consult. I absolutely love K9Nanni and Linda Solana. I have been sending my dog to their daycare since she was a puppy and she comes back happy and tired. It is so nice to know she is well taken care of while I am at work. I also use their fabulous walker Marce for days she isn't going to daycare. She truly loves my dog and takes such good care of her when I am not around. She walks her in any weather, cleans her off, and cares for her as well as I would. I also used Linda for training my girl. I recently sent her for a few days of intensive boarding training and in 5 days I have seen more of an improvement then 2 years. She was always sweet but had impulse control problems. Now I feel much more confident in walking her and knowing she is going to always listen. I highly recommend the board and train for anyone's dog that has behavioral issues they want to correct. I rescued a 7 year old yorkie who I didn't get much info about. I started working with Linda and she assured me that she would be able to train him. She is amazing. She sent me video's everyday and gave me progress reports on him daily. When my dog cody came home he was a whole new dog. She did train me on how I need to keep up with the training and reinforce it at home. I followed her advice and Cody is doing great. Cody had some food aggression issues which I am not sure where it came from since I didn't know his history. Linda was able to work with him on that and teach me how to continue working on it at home. Linda is the most honest, and sincerer trainer I know. In April I got a puppy Harper, and me and my husband's world changed dramatically. It was a big change and if we did not have Linda and K9 Nanni, I would not have survived the transition. Linda started working with Harper the second day we had her and continued to train her each week and as a result, Harper is so well behaved, walks well on a leash, and listens to commands. She learned commands starting that first day and gets better each week. People stop me on the street to compliment me on how well behaved she is and how well she listens. That is all thanks to Linda, who not only trained Harper but showed me and my husband how to reinforce the training and set good habits. I am so grateful for Linda. The first few weeks of owning a puppy can be trying. Linda was available to me 24 hours a day to answer my questions, provide invaluable advice, and just calm my nerves. She has a special gift with dogs, which is evident immediately upon seeing her with any dog she meets. She truly loves animals and Harper loves her. She is committed to providing the best services to all of the dogs she cares for and loves all of them. She is a special person with a kind heart and good soul. You cannot help but love Linda as much as your pet the moment you meet her. I am so grateful to have her in our lives and so is Harper. We also love Diana, Harper's walker at K9 Nanni. The first time I saw Harper and Diana together my heart melted a bit because you could see how much they loved each other and how kind Diana was to Harper. Harper is so happy and has such great days while I am at work because of K9 Nanni. I never worry about Harper while I am work because I know she will have the best care at K9 Nanni. People meet Harper and Diana during the day and tell me how incredible Diana is with her and how lucky I am to have Diana caring for Harper. Diana and all the of the K9 Nanni staff take their jobs and responsibilities seriously and provide the best care for your pets. Linda and her team are exceptional and I cannot recommend the services of K9 Nanni enough - ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A PUPPY! I highly recommend Linda and the K9 Nanni team to all pet parents. My corgi Mickey has been there for play dates and boarding, and he absolutely loves it. He comes home happy and tried every time. He is hence more calm and not at all destructive because he gets all the socialization and exercise he needs at k9 Nanni. Mickey also just came back from Linda's board and train program for his severe resource guarding issues. My finance and I were both bitten (yes blood) several times to a point there was no trust. Mickey didn't trust us enough to not guard and we didn't trust him to not bite and be his pack leaders. As a result, regardless of what we tried, Mickey was relapsing constantly. He was outright aggressive when there's food, water, even snow. Anything he valued. Linda took Mickey for two weeks, and Mickey really had come a long way. Linda sent videos of Mickey's progress frequently and was always available via text. After week one when we visited Mickey at K9 Nanni, he was letting us touch his food. Linda also came to our place after Mickey's training to make sure we had everything we need and were prepared to work with Mickey from there on. K9 Nanni is hands down the best dog boarding in the area. Our dog has medical issues (needs medicine multiple times a day & has seizures) and the entire staff is so loving and gives him all the extra care he needs. We make the long haul from Brooklyn because they truly care about the dogs in their care and give us the peace of mind to travel knowing that our special needs pup is getting everything he needs. read more

If you are anything like me, an over protective pet parent, you should know that you have just won the jackpot with k9Nanni. Linda and Tashon are wonderful pet advocates and owners of the facility. The facility is located among warehouses and might be a little intimidating at first, but trust me, what's at the end of the tunnel is well worth the drive. The facility is well maintained, and they are constantly upgrading it. They do a good job with keeping the place immaculate, it never smells bad... ever. My dogs have stayed there from 2 days- 2 months and have had great experiences each time. I highly recommend k9Nanni. You won't be disappointed. read more
