First time ever having Lebanese food and the experience was really good! The ambience was really casual and the guy making the food was really nice and funny! There was 1 guy making food - 1 guy checking customers out - and a lady doing some extra cooking. The line was kinda long when we first entered, but they really moved the line quickly! I was semi- impressed. I got the chicken wrap with fries and a drink (Trio Combo). All in all, I'm not coming back to this area, however, going forward in the future I will definitely try Lebanese food again.

Bye bye old run down taco bell and hello beautiful, and most welcomed Lebanese Palace, that took over this spot. I was a little sceptical having another mid eastern restaurant, with the traditional falafel, shawarma and garlic sauce open up as we have so many in a small radius, but they nailed it! Did not get the pleasure to dine in, as they have a beautiful sit down restaurant to the left when walking in (with servers and all), but did get a couple of things for take out. -small falafel sandwich -falafel platter; which comes with a garden salad, pita, lots of garlic sauce and hummus, and lastly roasted potatoes and rice. For just under $20.00, it was money well spent. Their home made falafel recipe is one of the best that I have tried. Tasty and light, not loaded with heavy spices and salt. Their garden salad is not what I am used to in the usual Ottawa mid east joints. No fried pita chips, just a clean chopped lettuce salad, topped with carrots and radishes & of course tons of pickles on the side!!! They did not use a vinaigrette, but it was more like a tahini dressing, so there was no tangy-ness to the salad. I am so excited for this new restaurant. As long as they maintain their quality and freshness, this could very well be one of the best in Ottawa, or at least east Ottawa. P.s. they really need a website! Would love to check out their online menu and plan a night of it.

Trio. $12.95. Large sandwich, potatoes and a sofa.

These portions though! Lol. The food was SO GOOD and I just couldn't believe how much food my mans was putting on my plate when he was making it! The guy behind the counter was hilarious by the way. I came here with some coworkers while on assignment and I was not disappointed. I'll definitely be coming here again. I ordered the larger beef sandwich with potatoes and soda. I would've take THE longest nap if I didn't have to go back to work.

Very interesting decor around the restaurant

I've had the chance to visit this place for the lunch buffet and I have to say this restaurant is quite awesome ! The buffet is well laid out and contains a wide selection of both vegetables and meat items . Lots of authentic Lebanese food and very well put together. Super yummy falafel and incredible baba ghanoush and mama ghanoush the latest quite spicy . Overall I really enjoyed the lunch buffet experience and considering the reasonable pricing it's probably the best Lebanese restaurant in this side of town. Highly recommended.

Boyfriend's kebab (also came with a salad).

Good place to grab a sandwich or a platter. Prices are decent as well and they're usually fast with the orders.

Amazing value. Sitting on the deck (heated during winter) with the fire pits is really cool. Fresh food.

Based on other reviews, especially Keith T.'s, I ordered the half grilled boneless chicken plate with Bokhari rice. The plate also comes with turnips, salad, hummus, and garlic. I decided to upgrade the salad to a fattoush salad, get an additional 2oz hummus and garlic sauce (I didn't know how big/small the ones would be that came with the platter), as well as 2oz of Ali's Hot Sauce and an additional Kabab Halabi skewer. The chicken was cooked perfectly, great char but still super moist. the hot sauce was very spicy. The fresh herbs and vegetables on the side were such a great pairing. The fattoush was good, especially with the extra crispy pita chips on top. I do wish, however, that plain rice was an option, as I actually didn't need flavoured rice and would've preferred plain. My husband ordered a chicken taouk wrap with garlic, lettuce, onion, and tomato, plus batata hara and a Coke Zero. I've never had fateh before and also wanted to try it because of Hadia G.'s review. I got a single order. It had freshly cooked chickpeas with a mix of yogurt and tahini on a bead of pita chips and topped with pine nuts. This was by far my favourite and I could eat it ALL DAY. My husband and I were obsessed. OBSESSED! It was warm and delicious, creamy but not super rich, and very flavourful rather than just salty. I swear it should be illegal to eat this many pita chips, but we just couldn't stop. This is a bold statement, but I think it's one of the top vegetarian dishes I've ever had. It's on the breakfast menu but is available all day. I got knafeh for dessert, also for the first time. It was nice and cheesy, and I expected it to be sweet, but maybe just a little too sweet for me. Since this was my first time trying fateh, I can't compare it to anywhere else, but I would absolutely order it again and again!

For us modest appetites, this is easily 3 meals - easily! We ordered 2 plates and a sandwich for 4 people and still had enough leftovers for a small breakfast the morning after. My personal favorite was the mixed shawarma plate. I love how it comes with pita made specifically for Shawarma Palace, rice, potatoes, salad, pickled veg, and the meat. We also got the mixed kabob plate which featured tender beef but the chicken kabob was just a hair bit dry. The falafel sandwich was actually very dry and I would not recommend this. We also picked up some baklava for dessert after and I liked how it was just sweet enough! You can taste the pistachios and I thought the kiss of rose water was just enough to make the bite memorable!

Happened upon this restaurant one evening. I saw a shawarma place on the north side of the street,…read moreso I prepared to turn off and go back, but here was another shawarma place. Quickly looked at Yelp and saw a fantastic number of reviews. So this place looked to be the real thing. I stepped up to the counter and ordered the beef shawarma platter to eat in. The guys just kept piling more and more on the platter. It was absolutely ridiculously huge by the time they were done. It was stacked with beef on top. As I paid, I asked for a take-out container. There was no hesitation. So obviously, this is the way they do it. I sat in the super clean dining area and started in on this massive dish. Then I saw a young family carry their plates to a table adjacent to me. And they all had these massive plates too. So after stuffing myself and hardly putting a dent in this pile of food I had to load up the take out clamshell. It would hardly close and weighed 2-3lbs (after filling myself). So if you want to buy one dish and eat a tasty healthy meal for a week. This is your place. It seemed very clean in the restaurant (signs say leave your dishes on the table - so they are obviously bussing the tables regularly). The washroom was also exceptionally clean. The staff that built my meat mountain were super friendly. I would certainly recommend this place!

I finally went there recently and ordered some meat pies ($2 each) and meat and cheese pies ($2.75 each). Both types of pies were great, but I liked the meat and cheese one the most. The cheese was so chewy, and slightly squeaky. It reminded me of cheese curds. The meat was well seasoned and wasn't too sour or too salty like at some places. The dough was thin and slightly crispy, not doughy. I like thin and crispy, so I liked the dough. The meat had a slight smokey flavour to it, but not as much as Aladdin's. I compare most meat pies to Aladdin's because they are my favourite, but Al Noor is a very very close second. They are both very similar. Al Noor's has more meat and cheese but Aladdin's has more of that smokey flavour that I like. The bakery has some seats so you can eat your food there. They also sell some sweets that are prepackaged (not baked there). They also sell beverages. I didn't like the fact that the staff did not wear gloves while they prepared my food. Nor did I see them washing their hands at any point. The man preparing my food was actually holding his phone with one hand (and watching a video on it) and preparing my food with this other hand (and occasionally touching his phone with the food preparing hand). Minus 1 star for (lack of) sanitation. If staff wore gloves, this place would get 5 stars from me. Staff are nice enough. The place is bigger than I expected. It's in a strip mall on Wylie just off Carling (you can see the bakery from Carling). There is a small parking lot in front, so there is free parking but it's limited. And this may be a bit random, but the entrance door is really really heavy, lol. If you love meat pies, give Al Noor a try!
