Good spot, I had the beef platter and my boyfriend the chicken platter 16.49 each. The garlic came in a little container wish I had more. I liked the beef ,found the chicken dry. The potatoes were soft, but tasted good and did not find a lot of oil a the bottom. Salade was not very tasty but veggies were fresh.

I had accidentally run into this place while driving back from Ottawa to Toronto and I am so glad I did. This was probably one of the best shawarma I have had in the longest time. The place could use some help with decor but the food makes up for any downfall. The chicken and beef were perfectly cooked with the right spices and juices. The beef was literally melting in your mouth, and the garlic was just perfect. Usually the garlic sauce is not authentic enough at a lot of places but they got it just right. The only regret I have is that this place is too far from Toronto but I will definitely be going back there again when I visit Ottawa! I would definitely recommend trying their shawarma and potatoes on the side with garlic sauce on top.

The food there very mediocre and the prices advertised are not the ones that you actually pay. When you ask why a shawarma sandwich cost 2$more than the price advertised they tell you that because minimum wage went up..so when you ask why they haven't changed the price to reflect the new prices and they tell you that it's expensive to change prices. I love shawarmas and I have gone to pretty much all of the shawarma restaurants in Ottawa and Somehow I feel like I can give a good feedback about a shawarma restaurant and what they serve; I must admit that the veggies were very fresh but their chicken is very dry. During another occasion my chicken was pink..not cool to play with people's health. I think it's an okay shawarma restaurant as last resource. The place could you a little updating but their business is mainly take out. After several chances I think it's just not the type of restaurant that I would visit again nor would I suggest it.

I ordered a chicken wrap it was big but dry. I would order again but I would remind them to put in extra sauce.

Pretty good shawarma. The rice is really good in the platter and potatoes are quite tasty too.

I always get the falafel sandwich. It's delicious! My friend gets the chicken and she says it's amazing. We go about once a week.

Based on other reviews, especially Keith T.'s, I ordered the half grilled boneless chicken plate with Bokhari rice. The plate also comes with turnips, salad, hummus, and garlic. I decided to upgrade the salad to a fattoush salad, get an additional 2oz hummus and garlic sauce (I didn't know how big/small the ones would be that came with the platter), as well as 2oz of Ali's Hot Sauce and an additional Kabab Halabi skewer. The chicken was cooked perfectly, great char but still super moist. the hot sauce was very spicy. The fresh herbs and vegetables on the side were such a great pairing. The fattoush was good, especially with the extra crispy pita chips on top. I do wish, however, that plain rice was an option, as I actually didn't need flavoured rice and would've preferred plain. My husband ordered a chicken taouk wrap with garlic, lettuce, onion, and tomato, plus batata hara and a Coke Zero. I've never had fateh before and also wanted to try it because of Hadia G.'s review. I got a single order. It had freshly cooked chickpeas with a mix of yogurt and tahini on a bead of pita chips and topped with pine nuts. This was by far my favourite and I could eat it ALL DAY. My husband and I were obsessed. OBSESSED! It was warm and delicious, creamy but not super rich, and very flavourful rather than just salty. I swear it should be illegal to eat this many pita chips, but we just couldn't stop. This is a bold statement, but I think it's one of the top vegetarian dishes I've ever had. It's on the breakfast menu but is available all day. I got knafeh for dessert, also for the first time. It was nice and cheesy, and I expected it to be sweet, but maybe just a little too sweet for me. Since this was my first time trying fateh, I can't compare it to anywhere else, but I would absolutely order it again and again!

After hearing some recent reviews on a Manotick Facebook group, we decided to give them another shot almost a year later. We used the online ordering system and our order was ready on time for pick up. I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki Platter ($26.95) and added in the comment section that I wanted the meat to be done medium-rare. It came with two skewers. My wife ordered the Keftedes Platter ($22.95), which she heard from others was really good. Each platter came with Greek rice, medallion potatoes, Greek salad and tzatziki sauce. The rice was a little more plain than we would have hoped, but it improved once we squeezed the provided lemon over top of it ourselves. The medallion potatoes had yummy dry seasoning sprinkled on top. Next time we will ask for more of that dry seasoning in the comments in the online ordering system because it was delicious, but not spread very evenly. The Greek salad was fresh and tasty with a good amount of feta and the dressing was packed on the side. The tzatziki sauce was thick and creamy. We also ordered a Pita Bread ($2) to go with everything. Now let's talk about the meat! Wow! We were impressed with both the Lamb Souvlaki and the Keftedes (4 mini meat patties). All the flavours and spices used were perfect, plus the cook on the meat was very memorable. We kept raving about the meat throughout the meal, savouring every bite. We would easily go back again just for how good the meat was! We're also curious now about how they would handle seafood like their Calamari Platter. The food is slightly more expensive than Cozmo's on Greenbank, but the quantity is fair and the quality is excellent for the meat.
