I like a crispy crackle on top of my pork belly. The red cabbage was okay but came in a separate dish and I wasn't too sure what I was meant to do with it. The dish was accompanied by a meat gravy which when I tried it overpowered the delicate flavors of the pork. Being quite hungry I also ordered potato gratin but the potatoes were a little hard and undercooked. There also wasn't very much sauce and in some instances was just potato on potato with no sauce in between. If I came here again I'd probably have the steak since it is called steak & co so that's their specialty. Service was as expected, my water cup was kept filled and received the bill when requested. Overall just okay really. Ambiance was typical for a chain restaurant. Not too loud and nothing to complain about.

Not the greatest quality, but it was a steak. The wait time was awful. The server didn't really seem to care and didn't give quality service. The Burger sucked! It was a soggy and sloppy mess! When we asked the waitress about it, she acted like we were asking for gold and seemed like we were bothering her. The side salad and the onion rings were all delicious though! The steak was good quality too. We were charged for everything, even water! I know that's a European thing, but it still sucks to be charged for water!

I need to give my feet a break and fill my belly. I got a basic burger, it was juicy and perfectly cooked. The sesame bun was soft and billowy and pure carby goodness. It's true that if you've been to one of the many burger chains in London, you've kind of been to them all. However, each one guarantees good- if not great- quality, and a few signature twists of their own. This place is no different, and conveniently-located near one of London's most famous landmarks. The interior of this one leaves a bit to be desired, with it's quirky Scrabble-looking signage and funky colors, but the menu is the same as everywhere else. I was a bit miffed that I had to get up and go order at the bar after being seated, but the menu was straightforward enough that it didn't take long. Service was also a bit lukewarm, but whatevs. It being my first time here, I thought it best to go with one of their benchmark signatures and ordered The Legend burger with smoked applewood cheese and a side of sweet potato fries with a bacon mayonnaise dipping sauce. I have to say, that was one darn good burger. The meat was perfectly cooked, the sauce they used balanced out all the flavors nicely, and those fries were cooked to such perfection, I had to force myself to use the dipping sauce so it wouldn't go to waste. There was nothing wrong with this meal. And the price wasn't bad, either. They also have a nice selection of cheap cocktails, beers, and dessert on the menu, but for all that, you're going to need an extra stomach or two.

Absolutely loved Tayyabs!…read more The one thing I knew I needed when visiting London was Indian food and I'm so happy I found this restaurant. Found this restaurant on Yelp after seeing such great reviews and I wasn't disappointed! At first, I was nervous my friend and I wouldn't get a table due to how busy the restaurant was but since we were only two people, we had no issue getting a table. Seating is tight! You are almost arm to arm with the individuals sitting around you which I actually found to be a great experience. My friend and I ended up striking conversation with the people next to us which led to a fun dining experience. Service was quick! We ordered food and it came out quickly and all waiters were super attentive. In terms of food, everything was absolutely delicious and portion sizes were huge! First we ordered the lamb chops and the samosas which were absolutely amazing. We then ordered the chicken and lamb dishes with the naan which completely filled us. I can't wait to come back and I will absolutely be dreaming about this restaurant until I come back!

On my way out I noticed some people bringing in beer so maybe BYOB? I would definitely come back here. Seems like it gets busy so plan accordingly.

We started with some papadum, which as usual is just an excuse/vehicle for mango chutney and yogurt sauce. The mains were average London curries, nothing to call home about, but also nothing that thrusts you into power on the ivory throne later. The sag gost (spinach and lamb) is solid here, and we wiped up every bit of it with the buttery naan. The rajma isn't a dish I've seen anywhere else, and it's honestly pretty good. French beans and chick peas cooked in a yellow slush of onions and peppers, it's a good way to earn back some food karma after all the other meaty meats. Ivory Arch transforms into a takeaway place on the other end linked by a small kitchen, so don't be afraid to holler at your waiter if you need anything. Poor guy is trying to run two joints at the same time, so resist helping yourself to the bar in the back. Bill came out to £20 per person, but the six of us had appetizers, mains, breads & rice, and multiple rounds of Tiger beers (and a parting shot round for the road just for luck).
