We noticed two neighbourhood security gentleman walking by and asked for restaurant suggestions. After asking what we feel like eating as there are many good restaurants in the hood, we settle for Persian and they walked us to the restaurant and asked the "uncles" to take care of us. We ordered the small plain bread (it's huge and enough for 3-4 people), hummus (so smooth and with a light touch of garlic), grilled lamb pieces with half rice and half salad (perfectly grilled and seasoned so well) and grilled whole fish (so huge and the meat was so moist). Needless to say, we gobbled the main dishes up quickly as it was so delicious but couldn't finish the bread as we were stuffed. Dinner for two was ￡35 which is a great deal in London. The restaurant has two levels and the open kitchen is on the main level. Seating for about 20 people so it's a little place. We noticed many people did take out. Service was straight and direct and once we started taking to the uncles they opened up. If I ever get back to London, I will be coming here for dinner again.

We had the lamb and herbs stew, royalty grill and a vegetarian grill. Every dish had the same sides ('exotic' greens, same three different rice). The stew had definitely been prepared beforehand and just heated up prior to serving (and it was a small portion for the price). Unless you're desperate I would not recommend this place.

I am half Lebanese myself and I always appreciate connecting with that side through food as (while biased) it is the best on the planet. Orjowan (Meaning Purple in Arabic) absolutely delivers. Friendly staff that makes an effort by bridging a language gap and quite literally enthusiastically delivers insanely fresh wildly delicious food. I have 0 complaints whatsoever! The restaurant filled up quickly right after we walked in, so I assume this is a "if you know, you know" spot. And DAMN! Try everything!!!

My boyfriend and I stopped in because of its proximity to our hotel and absolutely loved it! It's a very nice space and the service is great. Siamak, the owner, was super accommodating and kind. He made our bread right in front of us which was very cool to watch! The food was delicious, I ordered the Joojeh which was some of the most amazing chicken I've ever eaten. Very tender, cooked perfectly, in a delicious marinade. I also had Barley soup which was amazing! It was a very good vibe in the restaurant, we haven't stopped in for dinner yet but I think it would make for a very lovely date night. We had a great experience here and although we had to leave before going back we are excited to return in April.

That hasn't changed but I will say the size of the actual wrap is half of what it used to be. Same price, half the size, unfortunately. Our server did not know we were in a hurry, but she was prompt and our food was delivered fresh and fast. The hummus was so authentic. I have eaten so many kinds of hummus in different restaurants, but this was the closest to my mother in laws as you can get. Hands off to the chef for his tastebuds and the yummy sauces served with the meal. There was a lemon creamy sauce for the chicken and a red spicy sauce for anything. I tried to get the recipe from the manager, but he said only the chef k owes! Darn it!! Overlook the construction in the street as it may be a deterrent, but you cannot miss the place as they are ready and decorated for Halloween. We had a stimulating pot of Rose Tea that had a touch of Cardamom, one of my favorite spices, infused. The menu is robust and the desserts look binge worthy. Unfortunately, we did not try them, but the baklava's look delicious. When I. London visiting or if you live in London, patronize this restaurant as you will not be disappointed.

I was expecting like a Persian kitchen inside a pub or something but it was actually a quite fancy cloth napkin type of place. They have like a 10 page menu but they have pictures which is helpful. We wanted to try something other than kebabs & shawarma so we went w/ a plate of lamb neck, brains and some other meats. They should rename it the Dog Food plate, it was essentially just boiled without seemingly any seasoning to make it not taste like scrap meat. It was served w/ some pita, raw spicy chilies and raw red onion slices but no rice. We had to order an expensive side of huge rice. The pita was a bit too hard and crispy. It was also served w/ a bowl of bone broth on the side for either dipping or sipping I guess. I would've enjoyed it more if it was priced much cheaper as it is the shit that most restaurants just throw away anyway lol. But if I lived nearby I saw some of their seafood/fish dishes I'd be interested to try.

Here's what we ordered and enjoyed most: Thyme kellaj: crisp, filled with delish zaatar, perfect for me Hummus: creamy dream, perfectly balanced Labneh: thick, creamy, dreamy. Did like that it came with a tahini sauce and pickled turnips which cut the heaviness. Actually wouldn't get again because the other items filled me right up. The only "miss" of the meal for me. Passion fruit martini is a MUST get for you fruity drink people. Really tasted like passion fruit. The old fashioned is a miss for my husband -- he couldn't explain why but he just wasn't into it.
