I've been looking for a couch for over 25 yrs. 5 yrs. ago I decided to have the current one recovered because I could still not find one. Well the whole experience was a fiasco and when delivered the material on the cushions and several areas on the base were all puckered. I've learned to live with it up until now and decided to search again. Once I decided I wanted leather I started looking at several furniture stores and found poor choice of colors, styles and poor grades of leather. I saw an ad in the paper (which also stated not made in china), and also I worked in the area so I was familiar with Leather Express store but never visited it. Since leather was their expertise I ventured in. I was pleasantly greeted by Michael, I told him basically that I was looking for a traditional style and no sooner I said it I spotted one on the floor. I sat, laid and examined it, while shooting a million questions at Michael, who was very professional, patient, and informative with his answers. We sat and selected colors. I took a swatch home, however I should of also taken a swatch of the other choice. The next day I returned to the store and Michael sat with me and answered more questions and gave me the other swatch. The following day I once again went back to the store to tell Michael I made a decision on the color and was ready to order and I did. I never felt pushed or hurried during any of the 3 visits to the store. Both Michael and Ron were very pleasant and professional. They asked me if I wanted the warranty and I said no, and I was amazed that they were not pushy on the matter and accepted my decision. The worst thing a sales person can be is pushy, whether when trying to make a sale or purchasing and extended warranty. The delivery date is the 1st week in July, and I'm excited for its arrival. I recently made a purchase from the Leather Express in Ellenton, FL and after about 6 weeks, I learned that the location I purchased from was a franchised location which had unexpectedly closed, and gone out of business. Filled with worry... I called their corporate location over on the East Coast of Florida and spoke with the corporate Manager, Sherri who assured me that even though those franchised stores had closed, the corporate location was taking over all of those open orders, and files and working to ensure the orders are still produced, shipped, and that I will not be out of any money. I must say this was such a relief to speak with Sherri. I was told that my furniture may take a few extra weeks to be delivered from my original estimate when placing the order, due to the fact that these franchised locations were on a "credit hold" with the manufacturers, basically meaning that they were not making any of the orders that had been placed. I must say I am very fortunate to have dealt with a company that takes such great pride in their company and on customer appreciation. I know as a business owner, They did not have to assist us in getting our orders, they could have simply told us to try to get a refund from our credit card company, but I feel that Leather Express wants to keep their reputation in good standing condition, even after a hurdle like having stores close down, You guys are still working above and beyond to continue creating satisfied customers. I applaud you, and also recommend not allowing your stores to be franchised in the future, seems like a bigger headache than its worth. Keep up the great work! This is such a great store. I went in looking for a recliner for my husband who has a very bad back. They have an amazing collection. I sat in and operated every chair in the store. The salesman explained the differences and all the options available. I selected a chair and they were able to match the leather on the sofa that I had bought years ago which is still beautiful! My husband was so very happy when the chair was delivered. He found the chair so comfortable and easy to get in and out of. The leather that they have is so easy to clean and lasts forever. From beginning to end this was a great experience, and we got exactly what we wanted. I shopped all over the area and leather express was the only store that checked all the boxes. We bought a power, swivel, rocker. Also,bought the lbattery and now there are no plugs and can put chairs anywhere in room. Don and Ronnie were both great, as well as their delivery people. Two young men who helped us move around our other furniture while they were there. We searched high and low and for months looking for just the right size and comfort for a leather sectional. I happened upon Leather Express in my quest going up and down Federal Highway and BOY AM I GLAD I DID! Our sectional was delivered today and it is a BEAUTY, exceeding our expectations. The sectional is made in Italy and took 3 months and 1 week to arrive and worth the wait! We were shopping for a new leather sofa. We found Leather Express on line, looked at size of stores, proximity to where we live and the possibility that they would have the sofa we were looking for. The Boca Raton location is large with many different styles to choose from. We went to the showroom for several weeks before we settled on a style of sofa and color. In addition we purchased two reclining chairs with ottomans that we had not planned on purchasing as well. We went to leather express. We had bought two previous couches from them. Our first was only given up after 20 years with pen marks and scrapes from 20 years of children and cat claws. The second got moved to another location and still looks new after 12 years. We just had our third delivered. Don was our salesman and he is the best. No pressure, helpful, checked things out to be sure he was giving us accurate information, gave us a cleaning kit and called to see if everything was ok after installation. Look these people are great. Christine my salesperson was very helpful & not pushy at all. She showed me a few sofa's of the bunch they had there, went over the options color etc. I made a selection she wrote it up done. I took exactly the time frame to get built from the factory and delivered to my house. BTW the 2 delivery guys were top notch, I'd like to hire them to work for me. Polite, clean, friendly, and very good at what they do. I have very tricky twisty turns to get to my upstairs, these guys didn't flinch or complain once awesome job by all!! I recently purchased a custom made couch and matching ottoman from Leather Express. I had shopped around and finally found the quality, style and color leather couch I was looking for here. The salesgirl, Christine, was friendly and knowledgeable and gave me several helpful tips as well as a leather care kit. After taking delivery, (great delivery guys), I was not satisfied with the ottoman. The manager, Ron DeLuca, submitted photos to the manufacturer who agreed to make a new one. He followed through, kept his word, and I received a new and improved replacement ottoman, no hassle. We went to the store in Boca Raton to pick out a leather Couch to fit in our bay window area. We were helped by Ron who spent the better part of 2 hours with us. Ron was very kind and knowledgeable about the colors, styles and product selection. We weren't sure if this couch would fit our bay window so Ron drew a sketch of how it would lay out on the floor and told us to try it then call him back if this unit would fit. We had searched several stores for a small recliner chair and each store offered limited options for recliners. Leather Express offered several varieties and models which could be ordered to our own specifications, i.e. electric motor, wall hugger, rocker and swivel. Three days ago, I received my Omnia couch and loveseat with power recliners. So this review cannot attest to wear but the entire experience so far has been excellent! Ron DeLuca took care of me with much patience and no pressure. The selection is excellent. He was good to work with in store, and after I got home, he was responsive to any issues or questions I called him about. The leather is a beautiful quality, very supple and rich looking in navajo caramel. I had Natuzzi before this and this is even nicer quality than that. We worked with Don Austin in the Boca Raton location and he was great. Very informative but absolutely no pressure. We selected a new Palliser model and they matched internet pricing for the units.
