While they are expensive, it is made in the USA by hand. This is the type of furniture that you will be handing down to your children and will hopefully last for generations. Customer Service specifically Darin Martell, National Service Manager. This is my email sent to our salesperson Ms. Cynthia on 3/29/25 after receiving our sofa from their delivery service on 3/28/25. I've omitted my personal cell phone numbers that I asked for them to contact me at. Hello, We had an issue yesterday with the furniture once it was being setup by the delivery company. I tried calling but I'm thinking your phone line is not currently connected because of the move. Anyway, our delivery team contacted Costare to explain the issue & to also communicate that we're not able to reach you at the number provided but he said he would be in contact with us & you. I've attached a copy of the receipt with the screw insert issue on the leg of the chaise. You may reach me at. His response on 3/30/25 Hello, I'm sorry for you not being able to contact us. You are correct that things were down with the packing of the showroom. I'm not quite sure what that challenge is. Do you mean that one of the legs does not stay in place (like there isn't anything to screw it into)? If so, that sounds like a "T-Nut" might have gotten loose when it was being shipped to you (no legs fell out when they wrapped it up). This can certainly happen once in a while. You could certainly have a technician come out to install a new one. Our floor models are sold "as is" so this would be your responsibility. You could also leave it as is. As long as the leg is in place, it's not hurting anything by not being screwed in. Or, you could grab the part from Amazon I have linked below and insert a new one yourself pretty easily. Apparently, customers are not allowed to speak to the owner or anyone else above him. Also to note, the leg is not part of the frame & it's our responsibility to inspect furniture on the floor. I didn't realize flipping the furniture over & inspecting screws, legs, etc. was my responsibility! Very happy with the furniture we custom ordered. Cynthia was very helpful as we walked through the process. It's a big step as it's not exactly cheap and you want the right things to go in your home. We knew the pieces but unsure on color and accents, but she was so patient. It's gorgeous and comfortable! We've had it for approx. 6 months now. I will mention that the textured part was more gray than green, but they mention the prepare it may not be exact. The primary part which is black and mottled is perfect, the textured for us was more gray/green than green, but it fit with our decor perfectly. I was in the market for a new leather sofa, leather mainly because it is so much easier to clean and you don't have to worry about dust settling into the weave like on fabric upholstery. Previously we had 2 leather sofas, one was good quality, the other was a well-known name brand company that makes furniture that is subpar, but I didn't realize that till after we had purchased and live on our sofa for a while. After several years and the "leather" starting to peel, I decided I then wanted something that would last and hold up and I believe we have now have just that. I did a lot of research on leather sofas, I particularly wanted a recliner sofa, one where all the seats recline as needed. I had found out from our last sofa that if only the end seats recline the seat cushion in the middle stays fuller and almost makes it impossible to lay down across the whole sofa, if wanted. I wanted cushions that could interchange so they could be rotated to prevent just that, one cushion being fuller than the other after many uses. I wanted a sofa that you could also fluff and add more stuffing to keep the backing from becoming dense & settling over time. I wanted to be able to customize the look of the sofa, to fit in with my décor. I selected 2 stores, Leather Creations and another one. I first went to Leather Creations cause it was closer to our home, I never made it to the other store. Leather Creations was exactly what I was looking for. We walked in the store never dreaming I would purchase on that same day, but there was Cynthia, she walked us through the process, was a great help in making my upholstery selections & my options for the sofa. I even ended up purchasing a swivel chair to replace one had that was still in good use, but I just fell in love with the one at the store. This sofa is everything I wanted and more. Yes, it does take a while to get the finished product, but I was not in a hurry and it really is worth the wait. I ended up purchasing the Reno sofa with 3 recliner seats and their Panther swivel chair. I also added battery packs in case of a power outage, that way the recliner could still be adjusted when needed. Nothing like having a power outage and your stuck in the recline position and then trying to get out of it. Also add 3 headrest that can be used as needed. It gets very confusing as to what choice of leather, color, design, and durability of leather to pick, there are so many choices to choose from. Cynthia was such a great help in the deciding factor. She walked us through the durability and the use of the leather, of how we would use it, if there are kids, pets or other types of uses for this sofa of ours. After narrowing that down then comes the color selection, again it was very confusing still so many choices. Cynthia then helped make my decision easier by assisting me in direction as to narrowing down my colors. Next style, did I just want it plain or want to add some embossed leather and where I wanted it. Then the selection if I wanted nail heads and if so what size and style. There are also other things you can customize, such as the arms, the rails. Next we did the same with chair on making our selections. I couldn't have done it without Cynthia. Oh and by the way they have hair on hides, as you can see on our chair it has a deer hide. Next comes the waiting. Finally delivery, each piece was wrapped up and protected, brought in and placed where we wanted them. Our 2 pieces of furniture from Leather Creations are so comfortable. I just know it will last a lifetime, quality is exceptional. When it is time to fluff out the back cushions, Leather Creations will give us stuffing, they make the sofa to where more can be added when needed. Also if ever comes a time the cushions get worn these too can be replaced. I am so pleased I am planning on taking an ottoman to them to get it upholstered in that same leather to go with the chair. Overall we had a wonderful experience in dealing with Leather Creations, Cynthia, shipping & delivery. Check them out, especially around holidays when they offer discounts like other retailers. My family walked in ready to buy a leather couch. We've been waiting drive all the way up north to go to this one store after a friend recommended it. When we got there the sales person, Cynthia, did not get up from behind the desk at the back. We were the only people in the store. We had made a short list of 2 couches we were interested in when we got to the back of the store. She then snapped at my teenage son for sitting too hard-she said he FLOPPED on the couch. WHAT?!? I asked if there were certain pieces we were not allowed to sit in and was told we could sit anywhere-just not like "that". She then ignored me and started to speak to my husband only. There was so much wrong with this "salesmanship" but ultimately we will never step foot in a store that either discriminated against ASD kids, or teenagers, or thinks that talking to the male adult instead of the female adult is an acceptable practice. read more

We've been burned many times with leather furniture that turned out to be junk, so we weren't sure what to expect, but our experience with Leather Creations has been fantastic. We've had the furniture for about three months now, a sofa and two green leather chairs. And it's solid as can be. I'm practical and particular, but can also be indecisive, so going custom was both a blessing and a curse for me. But Stephanie brought her interior design advice to the table and helped us figure out what to do. The chairs were delivered with a couple of minor issues, a dimple on one side panel and an area where they folded up the inner batting on the other. With other companies, you typically get the runaround if there's a problem. Not here. Stephanie immediately set us up with a local, very professional furniture repairman, who came out and made everything perfect. And, this very experienced man shared with me that he had done another job for Leather Creations and that they went above and beyond to make the client happy. Basically, he could have repaired the leather so that it was just like new, but she wasn't happy with having it repaired. She wanted it new. So they replaced the entire arm. He said they happily did whatever was necessary to satisfy the client. Also, he verified that the furniture is clearly solidly built, inside and out. I'd give 10 stars if I could! We arrived at a good time, (early weekday morning), and Stephanie and her colleague spent more than two hours with us reviewing styles, options, etc... She helped us select the best couch (with two reclining sections) and a recliner / swivel / rocking chair. The designs give you all the comfort and options you may want without sacrificing style. Tons of leather options--especially for folks with animals. The cost was reasonable given how customizable EVERY piece is, and after several weeks, they were delivered. We were called the day before and two gentlemen arrived on-time. The delivery team carefully carried in fully-wrapped pieces, unwrapped, and assembled them. (Reclining pieces on a sofa are individual). They discarded the wrapping and ensured we carefully reviewed the pieces before signing off. We'd never spent more on furniture (of any kind) before, but we have no regrets. Couch and chair are both incredibly comfortable, look great in the space, and we're already considering more. Moreover, both the shopping experience and the delivery event FAR exceeded our expectations. Side note: We opted for extra-firm seat cushions, which cost a tad bit more. While we LOVE them, they are indeed "EXTRA-firm." I could see how some folks may consider them too hard, or that they elevate you too high off the ground. This place is awesome. You can customize so many things for your couch. I went through like 20 different stores from Austin before settling here. I got my perfect couch. It feels great when I sit and lay on it. Sometime I fall asleep because it is really comfortable. If you have the money to buy here, I recommend you give this place a visit. The sale person is nice and friendly. They didn't even try to sale me my couch. They gave me a really good discount as well. For the couch at modern furniture store, it would of cost me 2x the price. We purchased two leather sofas paying half of balance and agreeing to pay remaining balance upon delivery if the sofas were satisfactory. The sofas were delivered to us with four legs each. The sofas we purchased were suppose to have 8 legs each. The brochure we received at the time of the purchase indicated they would have 8 legs each. We called the store the day of delivery and spoke to Cynthia the person who conducted our sale. She assured us the extra legs would be ordered and a repairman would come to our home to install the missing legs. We received a call from the repairman saying that it would take 5 to 6 hours to install the legs as the frame would need reinforcing. He also told us our factory warranty may not be honored with retrofitted legs. We told Leather Creations we only would accept two new sofas with the 8 legs per the specifications. David Delor offered us a 10% discount and they would take the sofas out of our home to repair them. We told him we did not want retrofitted sofas. David Delor began sending us rude threatening emails. He said we do not fit well within their business model. He accused us of stealing the sofas and reported us to the police and threatened us with a law suit plus charging us 26.99% interest on balance owed and attorney fees. We offered to put the balance owed in an escrow account pending delivery of the two new sofas with 8 legs. David Delor declined our offer. We are now waiting to be served for charges of theft. I looked at many "nice" high end leather chairs around town and just could not find one that nailed it and had the "buy me" factor. On my way home one afternoon in February at a red light on 183, I just happened to glance right and saw Leather Creations in the strip center in front of Sams. Did not know anything about them, but was curious to check them out. Did a big U-turn and zipped into the parking lot. Walked in and was greeted by Erin. Excellent customer service skills and knowledgeable of her merchandise. An hour later, I had placed an order for two chairs, one that rocks and turns and the other with an electrical motor - both leather chairs color, matching exactly. Got the furniture delivered about 10 days ago and without a doubt was the perfect choice for my husband and me. Delivery service was first class and the guys were friendly and professional.
