Ms. Katarina reading to my son and his classmates
    Catherine H.

We've been with the Learning Lab Preschool for over a year now. Our son started since he was 18 months old in Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina's class. They are both so attentive and so caring. Ms. Rozana is so warm and loving- my son asks for her all the time on the weekends. He still asks for her now even though he's moved to the next class up. My son always has so much fun with Ms. Katarina. He would race into the classroom at drop off to give her a big hug and show her his newest toy. Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina are both very great at giving updates throughout the day. They put in a lot of effort to send me photos and videos which I absolutely appreciate and cherish. It allowed me to understand my son's day at school when he wasn't verbal enough to tell me himself. I felt that my son really blossomed at the Learning Lab Preschool. He would come home with new vocabulary and I could tell he learned a lot from the curriculum. The STEAM curriculum and outdoor play is a perfect balance for nurturing my son both academically, socially, and emotionally.

We have been sending our son to Learning Lab Preschool since he turned 18 months old. He started in Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina's class where he received so much love and attention. We knew we had found the right place for him when he looked forward to going to school and happily greeted his friends and teachers at drop off. Ms. Rozana is especially such a loving and doting maternal figure that my son was drawn to her right away. At pick-up time, we very often found Ms. Katarina reading a fun story for the children and I appreciated that she would often share a tidbit about my son from the day as well. When my son turned 2, he was moved up to Ms. Rebekah and Ms. Jackie's class. Here, I felt the classes were a little more structured and the teachers made a lot of effort to organize lesson plans that were age appropriate and fun for the kids. I was shocked when my son came home one day and shared the lifecycle of a butterfly... including using the word "chrysalis!" I feel that Ms. Rebekah and Ms. Jackie create an environment where the kids can learn to love to learn. Whether it's shapes, numbers, colors, letters, or something seasonal, the teachers are always thinking up cute art projects and activities that are relevant for the subject at hand. In the 2 years that we have been at Learning Lab, we have also really enjoyed all the seasonal activities the school has put on for the kids and parents. From the Easter egg hunt, classroom holiday parties, summer swim day, fall festival with the petting zoo, and especially the kids' Christmas concert... my son looks forward to these events and so do we! The curriculum is great, but for us personally, we love Learning Lab for the warm, loving, and fun environment that we wanted for our son's preschool years. At pick up, his shoes and pockets are filled with sand, his face is streaked with sunscreen, and he is running to us with the biggest smile to show off his newest drawing... that's how I know he's had a great, fun-filled day.

Our daughter has spent the last couple years at LLP and it has been a wonderful experience. The teachers are amazing and she's also met many great friends. She's grown socially, intellectually, and spiritually. We highly recommend this facility!

My wife and looked around for probably over a year. Trying to find the right place for our daughter. We both toured probably close to 10 different options. After touring Learning Lab and consulting with the owner himself we felt like this was going to be the place for our daughter. Danny was very informative on the daily activities and of course their strict safety regiment they uphold on property. Then of course after a month or so of attending. We knew we made the right decision. The staff at Learning Lab truly care about every single child in their class. Knowing that our daughter is in good hands and is actively learning along the way takes a lot off our shoulders as parents. Along with Learning Labs competitive pricing compared to others here in Irvine. We would highly recommend Learning Lab to anyone looking for a preschool for their kids!

Our daughter is 4.5 and we have been very lucky to have loving parents who enjoy watching her 5 days a week, so that we can work. Last year, at 3.5 we decided to look for a preschool, part-time. Not because we had to but we wanted to get her used to a classroom setting, to prepare her for TK. We called and visited multiple schools but Learning Lab really stuck out to us. The first thing that Danny (owner) said to us is, "this isn't daycare, we have a curriculum and you will receive a weekly schedule of what they're learning in class". The other schools seemed very much like daycare which is why we chose Learning Lab. In the last year, our daughter's vocabulary, reasoning skills and writing skills have grown exponentially! All thanks to Mrs Flora, Ms.Mali and Ms. Liz. Our daughter genuinely loves them. This week will be her last at Learning Lab, as she'll be headed to public TK soon. When broke the news to her, she cried and begged to stay at LL. Needless to say they've left a lasting impression on her heart.

LLP was one of the top choices when we were researching daycares in Irvine due to its STEAM based curriculum. An old coworker happened to also have his son at LLP, and had nothing but great things to say about it, so when I attended the daycare tour, I already had a good feeling. And Mr. Danny gave me that extra reassurance with his extensive knowledge in child development and passion for the children when he was giving me up the tour. So much so, that I immediately put down a deposit 5 minutes after the tour. My son started attending LLP when he turned 18 months, and has now been there for 8 months. From day 1, he was welcomed with open arms. His teachers Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina are the sweetest, and take care of him so well. Not only do we get constant updates and photos/videos throughout the day through the Brightwheel app (which I absolutely love!), but when I pick up my son, they actually tell me specifics on how he did that day. That just shows the level of detail and attention they have on the kids. I have seen tremendous growth in my son socially, physically, and academically in these past several months. He truly enjoys going to daycare and looks forward to playing with his friends. I appreciate the love and support LLP gives the kids as well as the parents. It truly feels like a family at LLP.

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Learning Lab Preschool. From the moment we joined, we felt like part of a warm and loving community. It has been so important to us that our son looks forward to preschool every morning with excitement and joy. Knowing that he is eager to go and feels so comfortable and happy there means the world to us as parents. Our family highly recommend Learning Lab Preschool to any family looking for a caring and supportive environment where their child can learn, grow and feel comfortable.

We enrolled our 3.5 year old daughter into Learning Lab just for the summer months, as we were out in Irvine just for June, July, and August. We were so grateful that they were willing to accommodate our unique circumstances and shorter term needs. Daniel is an excellent administrator and leader for the school; he was always communicative and supportive. Our daughter LOVED her class. Her teachers were amazing, shout out to Ms. Flora. She grew so so so much over these brief months. They had her learning letters and practicing writing, which her other school she attends back home during the regular academic calendar definitely did not introduce. We were amazed to see how far her artistry went as well. She went from not being that into coloring or drawing, to now she loves expressing herself this way. And we see a direct correlation between this development and the awesome artistic projects the children had in the classroom. Her language skills similarly took a leap. The activities they curated always seemed advanced, fun, and engaging. Our daughter never struggled at drop off or pick up. She clearly felt safe and happy at Learning Lab, for which we are super grateful. Big thank you to Daniel and the whole team for a great summer!

My son has been at LLP for over a year now. We have had a great experience in two different classrooms. My son really loved Ms. Rebekah in his previous room, and now says his current teacher Mrs. Flora is "the best teacher in the world"! I'd also to give Ms. Rebekah a huge shoutout for helping to get him potty trained. We also really love Ms. Liz, Ms. Mali, and the other teachers on the playground. Each one of the teachers are sweet and caring. We like the big playground, which has a lot for the kids to do and also provides shade. I love the picture and video updates on Brightwheel, and look forward to seeing what my son is doing everyday. Each day in class it's something new and exciting, from crafts, to play, to prayer. I would definitely recommend LLP to anyone looking for quality care for their child.

We would love to thank you the Learning Lab Preschool for an amazing experience for our 4 year old. She went from play-based learning to STEAM based and the transition was seamless and very enjoyable for our child. Always a smile going to class and leaving with a bigger smile. Thank you again and we highly recommend the Learning Lab Preschool to all parents!

Journey absolutely loved having Ms. Flora as his teacher. The hardest part about him leaving LLP was he was going to miss her being his teacher! She is such a sweet person and always supported the kids and parents however she can! Her and I have definitely gotten close over the years and will continue to stay in touch. Journey learned something new everyday in her class! She is one of those teachers that are a blessing to have! Journey even said she would share her lunch with them. We are so grateful for her as well as the other amazing teachers at LLP, and of course you!

We found Learning Lab Preschool in the Spring of 2020. We checked out multiple pre-schools but decided on Learning Lab for its faith-based STEAM curriculum, proximity to our home, and leveraging technology through Brightwheel so we would be able to connect with staff and see our firstborn son get engaged in an environment to thrive. We've seen our son thrive over the past few years and cultivate some amazing friends already! We are excited to see him continually be prepared for the next steps in his education and walk in his faith.

Learning Lab Preschool has been just perfect for us. The environment, teachers, and parents are all great. Our 5 year old daughter, Ada, loves Ms. Flora and calls Danny the best "Boss" she's ever had. We moved from Massachusetts to Irvine in December. Danny was incredibly accommodating, providing us with a comprehensive tour even when the school was not in session during Christmas week. Since Ada started attending the school, we have noticed significant improvements in her handwriting and sight word recognition. This progress is largely thanks to Ms. Flora, who has been diligently practicing these skills with the children on a regular basis. The other parents have been warm and welcoming, actively approaching us to arrange playdates. Furthermore, the school is supporting parents in unexpected ways. Danny's dedication to organizing the weekly Dads B-Ball night is helping me getting in shape (I haven't played in more than 10 years). Sessions are fun and competitive. Now I'm actually practicing basketball 3 times a week by myself just to up my game with the other dads. =)

This was so bittersweet, as we all wished that she could stay longer (as long as possible) in Marco Polo! We didn't want to leave! We were a part of such a tight-knit, warm, supportive, and welcoming community - the teachers, fellow parents, all the students - that I truly believe that the bond forged and positive effects gleaned (both academic and non-academic) will last well into the future. We felt that the Reggio Emilia approach worked so well in helping kids of different character traits and temperaments grow according to their own pace and strengths. We loved all the teachers that have taught our daughter, as well as others we saw every single day in their various supporting roles (admin, front desk, meal times, science, subs, etc). It took a village, and boy was that village awesome. We could feel that the teachers (and everyone else) working there truly were there because they loved kids, and they loved helping kids thrive. The Preschool and Pre-K programs were particularly notable and instrumental in their roles in helping our daughter get more than ready for her kindergarten year (and beyond). Under the relatively new leadership of Ms. Kimberly, I saw notable improvements in terms of the variety of interesting new subjects, activities, and a stronger sense of direction, leadership, and community. We can't possibly thank Marco Polo enough for helping shape our daughter, for encouraging and loving her, and for supporting us throughout. Ms Amy, Ms Venus, Mr Erick, Ms Paris, Ms Fatemeh, Ms Destinee, Ms Kimberly, Ms Jing, Ms Caitlin, Mr Ruben, Ms Lisa, Ms Janet, and everyone else - you truly made Marco Polo such a wonderful journey for us. Areas for Improvement: Teacher rotation does cause disruption in student learning. While staffing shifts are common, the school needs to do a better job of getting ahead of these rotations and being proactive about the transitions. Furthermore, the administration should establish a structured, year-round channel for parental feedback. While daily communication from individual teachers is fine, an administrative feedback loop like bi-annual parent surveys would allow families to share insights on scheduling logistics, administrative clarity, or classroom dynamics. It remains a solid option for families in Irvine, and showing better foresight regarding teacher transitions and structured parent communication will help them reach that next level.

We enrolled that fall in the 3 day a week program M,W, F. He loved the school, and loved his teachers Miss Miki and Miss Marisela. It felt very magical from the beginning, from the fantastic play yard to all the smiling faces and happy kids. We knew early on how much we enjoyed the school so we enrolled our youngest daughter into the Parent/Toddler program as soon as she was eligible at 18 months. Miss Colleen was wonderful and we faithfully did every session until our daughter was 3 and old enough for the main pre-school program. And she started her pre-school at 5 days a week right away because she was so prepared and ready for it thanks to all of her time with Miss Colleen. Our son went up to 5 days a week for his pre-kindergarten year. He had Miss Tami and Miss Miranda and our whole family loved Miss Tami so much. We started feeling that sense of teacher loyalty. So we admit we were secretly hoping Miss Miki would be our daughter's pre-school teacher too because we were so happy with her, only to find out that Miss Jaime was the perfect match! Our little one blossomed so much during her year with Miss Jaime and Miss Cherie. We finally realized ALL of the teachers are fantastic. So as she was cruising through her pre-kindergarten year last Fall with Miss Betty and Miss Lisset, our family was beginning to feel nostalgic and the distant sting of not having Child's World in our life anymore after 4 wonderful years. It has been a pleasure dealing with everyone at the school from Miss Cindy to now Miss Mai as well as Miss Kelly and Miss Donna, the administration team has been steady, professional and helpful. We also want to give a special thanks and mention to the wonderful other teachers on campus like Miss Cece, Miss Carolina, Miss Amber and Miss Megumi who also made a personal stamp on the hearts of our kids. We loved all the events for the whole family especially Family Fun Day in the Spring and the Christmas Fair and Pancake Breakfast. Both of our kids always took part in the chapel days as well and they loved it, but we never felt any pressure to participate in church events. We can truly say that our experience with Child's World has been one of the best things about our life as parents in Orange County after moving here about 6 years ago. We took so much joy knowing what a wonderful head start they were getting on school, socialization and life outside the house in general. And we are so grateful. Thank you Child's World!

Our son loves outdoor play and the playground set up is really great. Plenty of space and age appropriate toys outside to release his wiggles during their outdoor time. We are truly so fortunate to have found someplace as special as Little Angels! The entire staff takes health and safety seriously and we appreciate all of the coordination and attention to detail. We are so thankful and look forward to bringing our daughter to Little Angels to join our son in the future!

We have been thankful for the time our children have had at St Andrews. Each child is different and…read moreresponds differently to daycare services, so these reviews are really for you as parents to understand the offerings the schools provides and if check it out if it's a fit for your child. The teachers we encountered are great and I am forever grateful for them. My son started off in the babies room and we chose it cause it was (at the time) the only school that allowed me to come in and continue to breastfeed my baby during my lunch break. Apparently, before COVID that was rare. My kids returned a year after COVID and going to a different preschool for a brief moment. They loved their teachers. To this day- these teachers are among their favorite Ms. Shakina, Ms. Lorraine, Ms. Cece and Ms. Evelyn. They have all taken the time to work with our children, prepared them for Kindergarten and gave them the space to thrive and grow in a loving environment. Class sizes are small and they get the attention they need. They also serve nutritious and delicious breakfast, lunch and snack for the children and accommodated to allergies. They ate a variety of food beside peers which made them adventurous to try new foods. Mr. Michael's music program is amazing and my kids took piano lessons during school hours. They also had soccer shots program during school hours (which set the foundation for my son to get into club soccer). My niece who also attended did dance and gymnastics at the school during school hours. Twice a year they hold a musical performance and throughout the year, families would be invited back for multiple festivals including ones that show off the child's work. Almost once a month there was some type of event. The older kids also have field trips to sing at the local retirement homes. Here I know exactly where our money is going and appreciate how it's being used. Childcare nowadays is so expensive and knowing how they are spending the money makes you appreciate their leadership. We are grateful to have children who are alumni in this school.

Unfortunately, after 4 years of our son attending SACC, I have to update my review. I'm not going…read moreto go into the full details here because it's a personal matter. But it's important to note that we had fantastic experiences with the TEACHERS. This 1 star review is for the admin staff. This school is not equipped to handle children who might need a bit of extra support with neurodiversity or behavior struggles. The admin staff put in the bare minimum effort. While here, we had the following happen: - Admin staff recorded a video of our child having a meltdown as if he was on display instead of intervening, and they sent it to us via their app. - The office space where the admin staff works looks like a hoarder lives there, and they bring children back there if they need to regulate or need time away from their classroom. This area is not child proof at all, and when my son threw a marble it shattered their monitor and we ended up paying almost $1000 out of pocket to replace it. When we asked for the old monitor so we could try to fix it, they didn't reply. - We had our contract terminated with zero warning, while we were out of town. We were given a 2 week notice to scramble to find new care. We were told that our son was moved to a new classroom as "a final option" but that was never told to us. We had no idea that we were at risk of his care being terminated. Our child was devastated. The teachers also told us that they were NOT informed that this was going to happen. If our child needs extra support (beyond what we already did such as obtain an IEP and send him to ECLC for extra help 3 hours a day) we understand, but the communication was disgusting and disrespectful of the 4 years of time our son has been there. I wrote up a long response to them and it also was ignored. In talking with their contracted behavioral consultant, she agreed that this school does not offer adequate support for children who need extra help with age-appropriate behavior struggles such as the need to regulate their bodies, inability to sit and focus for long periods of time, issues with transitioning between activities, or kids who don't want to nap. If you've got a perfect angel kid and the admin never needs to get involved, SACC is fine. But they're in desperate need of new admin staff. There's a reason they haven't been full for a very long time. I fully expect they'll reply here and misconstrue the truth, and I'm not going to be baited into replying. Just consider I spent $100,000 of my money here and still return with a 1 star. My son is now thriving at a new school, and surprise - he's never missed his bus. They love him and he's had zero behavior issues at his new school in the 6 weeks he's been there.
