They taught her so much and genuinely cared about her growth, both academically and emotionally. It's clear that everyone at Learning Lab truly loves the children. We've been with the Learning Lab Preschool for over a year now. Our son started since he was 18 months old in Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina's class. They are both so attentive and so caring. Ms. Rozana is so warm and loving- my son asks for her all the time on the weekends. He still asks for her now even though he's moved to the next class up. My son always has so much fun with Ms. Katarina. He would race into the classroom at drop off to give her a big hug and show her his newest toy. We have been sending our son to Learning Lab Preschool since he turned 18 months old. He started in Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina's class where he received so much love and attention. We knew we had found the right place for him when he looked forward to going to school and happily greeted his friends and teachers at drop off. Ms. Rozana is especially such a loving and doting maternal figure that my son was drawn to her right away. At pick-up time, we very often found Ms. Katarina reading a fun story for the children and I appreciated that she would often share a tidbit about my son from the day as well. When my son turned 2, he was moved up to Ms. Rebekah and Ms. Jackie's class. Here, I felt the classes were a little more structured and the teachers made a lot of effort to organize lesson plans that were age appropriate and fun for the kids. I was shocked when my son came home one day and shared the lifecycle of a butterfly... including using the word "chrysalis!" I feel that Ms. Rebekah and Ms. Jackie create an environment where the kids can learn to love to learn. Whether it's shapes, numbers, colors, letters, or something seasonal, the teachers are always thinking up cute art projects and activities that are relevant for the subject at hand. In the 2 years that we have been at Learning Lab, we have also really enjoyed all the seasonal activities the school has put on for the kids and parents. From the Easter egg hunt, classroom holiday parties, summer swim day, fall festival with the petting zoo, and especially the kids' Christmas concert... my son looks forward to these events and so do we! The curriculum is great, but for us personally, we love Learning Lab for the warm, loving, and fun environment that we wanted for our son's preschool years. Our daughter is 4.5 and we have been very lucky to have loving parents who enjoy watching her 5 days a week, so that we can work. Last year, at 3.5 we decided to look for a preschool, part-time. Not because we had to but we wanted to get her used to a classroom setting, to prepare her for TK. We called and visited multiple schools but Learning Lab really stuck out to us. LLP was one of the top choices when we were researching daycares in Irvine due to its STEAM based curriculum. An old coworker happened to also have his son at LLP, and had nothing but great things to say about it, so when I attended the daycare tour, I already had a good feeling. And Mr. Danny gave me that extra reassurance with his extensive knowledge in child development and passion for the children when he was giving me up the tour. So much so, that I immediately put down a deposit 5 minutes after the tour. My son started attending LLP when he turned 18 months, and has now been there for 8 months. From day 1, he was welcomed with open arms. His teachers Ms. Rozana and Ms. Katarina are the sweetest, and take care of him so well. My son has been at LLP for over a year now. We have had a great experience in two different classrooms. My son really loved Ms. Rebekah in his previous room, and now says his current teacher Mrs. Flora is "the best teacher in the world"! Our 5 year old daughter, Ada, loves Ms. Flora and calls Danny the best "Boss" she's ever had. We moved from Massachusetts to Irvine in December. We found Learning Lab Preschool in the summer of 2021 and started our son right before his 3rd birthday. We were coming from a small in-home daycare so we wanted a preschool with a similar feeling. The learning Lab owners and teachers really treat the kids and even us parents like family, and we couldn't ask for more. The outdoor play area is well equipped, partially shaded, and VERY spacious. The kids have lots of room to run around and there is plenty to do for all ages 18 mos to 5 yrs. Parent tip: Have your kid take their shoes off outside after playing here because they will be full of sand In addition to the STEAM curriculum, there is a small dose of Bible study which has been really fun seeing our son absorb. It is clear he is gaining strong morals and learning keys of empathy from this and the rest of the teachings. Learning Lab is a wonderful preschool where the teachers and staff truly value my daughter, her learning experience, and us as parents. I fully trust them to take care of our daughter. Her teacher, Ms. Kassidy, is loving and kind. Our daughter and the other children adore her. I've seen our daughter gain more confidence and independence, make friends and memories, and explore and learn with creativity and joy. Sometimes she doesn't even want to leave school at the end of the day. She's learned how to write her own name. She enjoys the songs, crafts, experiments, lunch time, nap time, and playground time. Ms. Kassidy even took an extra step to make our daughter little books with pages stapled together, so she could draw and write her own stories. The school has flexible schedule options. You can choose MTuWThF full or half days, MWF full or half, or TuTh full or half. There's also before and after care options. The pricing I found to be a bit lower than other schools in the area, which is quite nice. We started with half days for a few months, and then changed to full days, which I prefer. Our daughter started attending in fall of 2021, at age 3 and a half, and she's now nearly 4 and a half. Since it was during covid, the school took precautions of masking for everyone, and temperature checks. They did their best in a really difficult time, to ensure families were as safe as possible. I'm glad the school still held a costume party outside in October, and an Easter egg hunt in April, since I enjoy seasonal events. I've also made some good connections with other parents at pick up times. Overall, a super solid school with a great philosophy of STEAM learning, fun and caring values. We cannot begin to explain how special this learning family is. My daughter has truly blossomed socially and academically. Her experiences at school have transferred to home where she volunteers to help with chores. Learning Lab was my daughter's first home away from home, and being an educator myself, there were certain things I was looking for when it came to where she would go to school. My daughter has anaphylactic food allergies, and this school is nut free. They sent me pictures of the food labels for snack and notified me when there were kids birthdays and a snack or treat was being served. The teachers and staff were all very welcoming of our family, including my daughter, who had a hard start with transitions and drop offs. They also helped tremendously in supporting our toilet training. I appreciate their use of technology through Brightwheel so we were informed of what our daughter was doing and learning throughout the day. Areas of improvement: *Consistency with Brightwheel: Part of the reason we picked LLP is their use of technology. While it was great to use a QR code to check in/out, I was expecting much more updates than we actually received. I didn't want to be *that* parent to constantly ask what was going on, but I was expecting a bit more out of their use of technology. *Consistency with lesson plans: It was nice receiving a weekly schedule with the lesson plan, as often times I would supplement the same themes at home. It was hit or miss - some weeks we would get one and some weeks not. *Ouch report: I never got formal ouch reports while my kid was there, which is great if nothing ever happened. My kid had a scab or two I'd find and only found out because she told me she'd fallen or scraped her knee. Overall, this is a great school with open communication from the staff. When it was time to look for a preschool for my daughter we did a lot of research and we're so glad we came across LLP. From Day 1, Mr. Danny was very kind and courteous, and from his extensive history with child and adolescent development, I could tell this is a preschool that he really pours himself into. And it shows! My daughter went here for a year and she had a wonderful time with others kids and especially her teachers. Through Danny's efforts we also got to connect with other parents, and I got to join the weekly basketball times with other dads. We have been sending our son to Learning Lab Preschool and we have been truly thankful being able to do so. It is so crucial for me as a mom, to know and have the peace of mind that my son is well taken care of and loved on while he is there. The preschool has chapel every week for the children which is also a wonderful reason to send my child there because Josh who is the other owner is also a worship leader. I truly believe that the songs that the children learn at a young age as my son will engrave them in their hearts that will stay with them until they are adults. Not only that, the owners of this school go above and beyond. They have been working with us to clear up the financial issue with our family. They clearly are there not to just take care of the kids but to be personal and so caring for the parents as well. Pastor Danny has been greeting us every week and have talked to me to encourage me as a new mom as well as life in general. So we are so grateful for this team of leaders who are stepping up to make this Learning Lab Preschool happen. I view myself as extremely lucky to have found Learning Lab. All teachers here are caring and loving. Both of my kids love Ms. Mali - Ms. Kassidy, and 2 other teachers that take care of them after hours. They love them very much that they don't want to stay home during weekend and want to go to school instead. I love how LLP has so much more learning activities compare to other schools. We are blessed by the teachers and the director at Learning Lab. From the contactless check in, steam curriculum, quick communication when you bring up issues, to their holistic approach to serving not only the children but also the family as a whole, Learning Labs truly cares. My oldest started at Learning Lab in 2019 when many changes where occurring. Through it all, he enjoyed his experience and loved his teachers and friends. He has now transitioned to Kindergarten but he fondly remembers his time there and often says hi to Ms Flora when we drop by the school to pick up his brother. My second son who now attends, enjoys his time as well. Because of Covid, my second had a hard time transitioning back to school. The whole staff took the time to help him during the transition to make him feel included and cared for. Now when we go home, my son often looks outside the car window as we leave and says "look at all my friends, bye." As a mom, it makes me feel happy to see my son thrive. read more

Learning Lab Preschool has been an excellent experience for my three year old and five year old. Even with the social obstacles my children have faced due to the pandemic, they easily adjusted to an educational environment thanks to the generous and warm welcome of the teachers. The preschool has great and fast communication through the Brightwheel App (which is easy to use) and constantly updates us whether it's monthly schedules or pictures of our children engaging in activities. When we ask about their day, my children can recall every highlight about the day and what they've done. It's incredible to see her grow and thrive throughout the time she's been there. The teachers are thoughtful and genuinely cares about their students. My daughter constantly raves about her teachers (by name) and says she even wants to go to school during the weekend. The Bright Wheel app is great to easily communicate to the teachers and staff, get daily updates and pay tuition. We truly appreciate that the entire family is a focus, not just the child. Learning Lab has been a wonderful blessing to our family! We searched high and low for different preschools for our daughter and when we visited we knew instantly it was going to be a great fit! Although I was a little nervous for her to go to school during the Pandemic they made it a seamless transition! The teachers, director and owners are absolutely amazing. They are constantly communicating whether it's at pick-up/drop-off or through their easy to use app Brightwheel app. One thing I absolutely have loved about Learning Lab is that they post pictures and videos of your child throughout the day. For anyone who is a little nervous like I was this is a great peace of mind! It has now been more than a year that my daughter has been going to Learning Lab Preschool, she is thriving! Her writing has improved, she is learning to read and her imagination and creative play is just amazing to watch. I plan on my sending my new little one here once she is of age!
