Not really a statement on the quality of work, but I called for an appointment and was told they don't do men in this place.

As many of the other reviewers have said this place is awful. Do not waste your time or money…read more I went in to have gel removed from my fingernails, and a simple manicure with no polish. I sat down with the woman who was doing the manicure. She was not one of the two owners. The work station was dirty and obviously had not been cleaned . She used a Dremel and then swept the dust onto the floor. After letting my nails soak for two or three minutes she again used a Dremel instead of allowing them to soak longer and scraping it off so as not to damage the nail bed. I have bruising underneath several fingernails and they were painful for the next couple of days because she was lazy and wanted to do it quickly. She quickly filed my nails and said she was done. Again, I had to ask for a manicure only with no nail polish. She did a terrible job, left much of the cuticle, and applied lotion in a way that was painful to my hands. This, however, isn't the worst part of this experience. When I got done I was told by the female owner that it would be $35. She saw my surprise and angrily told me she was giving me a discount. So I paid $35 to have polish removed and a bad manicure, with no polish or gel whatsoever applied. I did pay what was asked, and loudly stated I would not be tipping when they had the nerve to ask me that. I left, waited about 10 minutes, and called to ask how much a gel manicure was. I was told that it would be $30. So I paid $5 more to get half the service that I would have. What I thought was a simple request turned out to be an expensive lesson.

I had my hair cut by Gabby. I have no other information on her because the manager refused to…read moreprovide it upon request. I told Gabby not to cut my hair too short. I wanted a layer pixie style but I have a severe cow lick in the back of my hair and the length should be able to cover it. She asked if I wanted my bangs cut and I said no. Pictures are worth 1000 words. I'll show a picture of what I wanted and the remaining are my hair after I got home and washed all the goop out of my hair. I spoke with the manager giving her a chance to make things right. She was rude and told me I got the cut I asked for and offered me a free cut to not write any more reviews. Not a refund or an apology. I declined the free cut as who would want another one when I finally have hair to cut? Did I get the cut I asked for? And, isn't she required to provide the stylists license and full name? She refused/

A friend recommended this salon. She got a very nice haircut. I called to make appointment and they…read moreinsisted I give them my credit card number which would be charged in full if I cancelled or missed the appointment in 72 hours. When I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes. Then the stylist filled out a questionnaire on her ipad which took another 15 minutes. She applied color and sent me over to be washed by another person while she cut someone else's hair. I was then told to move to another chair and wait. In the meantime the woman next to me was offered water. I was not offered anything. I walked into the reception area to grab a magazine while I continued to wait. Finally after the mess from the other haircut was swept up the stylist cut my hair. It looked ok. I was shocked that the price was $198 before tip! I think if this salon is going to charge high end prices for a haircut (trim) my hair is already short and foils they need to improve their customer attentiveness skills.
