My feet were the same -- they left a lot of dead skin around the sides, and the cuticle area around the nails looks terrible. They didn't even paint the nails completely. Tracey's was small - only three stations and only one person working when I went in. Best to make an appointment! Got a pedicure and gel manicure. Both were good, albeit no frills (this is not a day spa!), and the price was right. Service was sweet but not terribly thorough. The next test is how long they last but no regrets yet. *Follow-up - one week later, my gel manicure is peeling off like crazy like a regular mani :( Bummer. You get what you pay for.

I have long loved this salon for its calm, quiet, and impeccably clean atmosphere. You can watch or not but the vibe is nice. I recently tried a Gel-X manicure for the first time. Being unfamiliar with artificial nails, I initially chose the wrong shape. Once I saw the educational video on-site, I realized my mistake and asked to change the shape. Unfortunately, the technician's reaction was very unprofessional. She became visibly angry and "hot-headed," which completely ruined the relaxing experience I come here for. While I understand the late change was an inconvenience, the lack of temperament control was disappointing. I still love the facility, but I will be more cautious about who I book with in the future to ensure the environment stays peaceful.

My niece was not misbehaving but she has ADHD and can't sit still so she had a hard time just sitting there while her nails dried and it apparently annoyed the tech. My recommendation is if you are planning on bringing a small child for a special day of manis and pedis, you might want to find a place where the tech has more patience.
