I assumed it would be a simple task to schedule the inspection, get the tags, and be on our way to no backflowing water in our system. The phone call went well until we started talking about scheduling. - They were not able to commit to a date on the phone. We scheduled a tentative date and time and had to wait for someone else to confirm with me. This makes it difficult to plan water shut down for your business. They need at least 15 minutes with your water off. If your valve does not pass you can add an unknown amount of time on. So naturally, I asked about weekends and the day that we are closed, Fridays. No can do the woman said. They don't work on Fridays or weekends. Splendid. - They require your credit card information up front, a week ahead. Again, this felt like a red flag but since I was running out of time to comply, I went ahead. I assume many businesses have stiffed them on the bills. Shocking.....but I suppose it does happen. - Someone was supposed to confirm our appointment the day before. Nothing. So I got up early to be at the office on good faith. - The two gentlemen that showed up to do the work were fantastic. They were on time, knew their trade, and were polite. Of course one of our brand new valves did not pass their test. So they told me it would be an additional $120 or so to clean out the valve. I had no choice. Either fail the verification or pay the ransom. So we paid. The three stars are for the two guys that showed up at 7:30am to verify my new valves and get it done with literally one minute to business open. The minus two stars are for the poor communication by the main office and the difficult scheduling. Probably won't use them again next year. But we'll see who is on the list.

He quickly diagnosed my issue and explained everything thoroughly. While I was shocked by the price tag to snake the sink/drain line ($520), Juan's promptness, thorough work and explanation and overall professional service made it well worth it. I later validated with a plumber friend that emergency plumbing work is just expensive, so the $520 doesn't sound too outrageous. Overall - highly recommend calling Juan / Clove for any plumbing needs.

The part though that really bothers me is that, after all this, they also took my baseboard from the wall. No idea what they did with it. I called asking where it was and they never called me back. I'm now having to spend more money to get a custom baseboard created to match the rest of the room. I don't enjoy not supporting local businesses, but the fact that I'm now having to spend more money because of the baseboard being taken instead of this being compensated for is the reason I'm posting this. Not okay and won't use again.

From scheduling with Angela with ease on the phone and having the option of using an App for communication, to Tim's arrival for the appointment, everything was above my expectation. Tim gave clear explanation of plumbing issues and provided solutions. Never did he try to upsell. He gave me a very reasonable quote which I agreed and started working right away on a Sunday. The following were completed: 1. Navien descaling 2. Replace pre-filter to house 3. Unclog bathroom sink drain Tim is to return to complete the following: 1. Kitchen RO filters replacement after i receive parts I ordered 2. Hot and cold water mixing issue - to be determine what is causing it. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided, how Tim and Angela communicated with me. Tim was organized, respected property, fixed plumbing issues correctly, not quick fixes, and left areas where he worked the way he found it. It is very difficult to find someone who has old school values with skills to fix things around the house nowadays. Most companies wants to only take on big jobs with the greatest profits and forget smaller jobs almost always leads to bigger jobs when they are done correctly. I will definitely hire Tim again for plumbing issues for my home as well as my rental property. Thank you.

He also cleaned up after each job. It's hard to find someone this trustworthy and professional. I would confidently recommend him to anyone in the area.

He cut a hole in the downstairs ceiling to replace an upstairs shower drain that busted. Spent maybe an hour removing and replacing the drain. He assured me that the drain was fixed and to call him if I had any issues. Water started leaking the next day. I called them back and he stated that he would come by. Again, knocks, I open door, man abruptly walks straight in, in a rush once again. I even called my husband because I felt uncomfortable. He stated that unfortunately if he couldn't fix the drain it would be my problem. His words. I told him that if he hadn't rushed the job he may have done it right, it appeared he forgot to add silicone or something. For $900 and plumbing expertise, this man did not take any accountability for his work. He said " you must be upset this happened to you," I told him I was more upset with his lack of professionalism in this matter and rambling on about all the services he has lined up and all the money he is making being a plumber but can't seem to complete a simple service. As a homeowner you understand that things will go wrong and will need repair in the home from time to time. I have no problem with paying for services as a homeowner but I have never encountered a business like this ... homeowner for 10 years now. Bad luck I guess. We had another professional come out and he stated that the job was poorly executed and it looked horrible! Even I can see that and I have no plumbing experience. Worst experience ever!

They ended up selecting ARS based upon Better Business Bureau info, customer reviews/experiences both online and written letters of recommendations. I am so glad ARS was selected, what a wonderful company! Ramiro Lozano, the owner, came out to do the initial walk through and was very thorough in reviewing what they needed to do and approximately how long it would take. He communicated clearly in layman's terms, so I was able to understand. Once they were ready to start the work, Veronica, from his office, called to set up the date and time. His team showed up ON TIME on that day. They started working right away and continued working hard for the next 4-5 days to get the reroute completed in the 3 units in this building. As soon as the reroute was done, the drywall guys came out the next day to patch, mud, texturize and paint the necessary holes that were made in the ceilings and walls. At the end of each day, they did a great job of cleaning up which is so important when living in a construction zone. Overall, from start to finish in all 3 units, it took 7-9 working days. (Please note, this building was the first one ARS started with in the complex and they did not have the blueprints or anything to go by). However, as they are moving on to the other units, they are moving at a much faster rate and the start to finish time takes about 4-7 days. I must also state that the quality of the work they do is phenomenal. As they came across issues with leaky or corroded valves, they informed the homeowner so that we could either have ARS fix it (as these issues were not covered by the HOA) or get another plumber to fix them. Ramiro just wanted to make sure that the homeowners are aware of any problems and left it up to each of us to decide how to fix them with no pressure from him. All interactions I had with every person involved in this project from Veronica in the office to the plumbers and the drywallers were a pleasure. It is also important to note that when you reach out to anyone in this company via phone or text, you will get a very fast response. I highly recommend this company and give them a 5 star rating. Ramiro Lozano is extremely professional, reliable and takes pride in the job he does. If you need this kind of work done, do yourself a favor, and hire ARS as you will not be disappointed.
