We've bought simpler plants like lavender plants as well as a Japanese maple. They have a frequent shopper account that you can accumulate rewards for too. The one thing that's nice is they have a plant guarantee where you can get reimbursed for a plant that doesn't make it, which is great if you don't have a really green thumb. We did use that once for a smaller/cheaper plant and it was no problem. Luckily, the pricier tree has done well. Service is always friendly and responsive. They can recommend suitable plants that fit certain sunlight or water requirements that you might have. Prices are higher than non-nurseries like hardware stores, but the plant quality seems overall higher and the survival guarantee of course is worth a fair amount if you're more of a beginner gardener like us.

I went in knowing I wanted a plant for my little storage closet of an office but know nothing of plants and it doesn't have windows. Not only did she give me some suggestions, she brought me over to the plants, explained exactly how to take care of it and told me I could always come back with any questions. You bet the beautiful snake plant came home with me. I can't wait to go back and get more!

Service, Ambiance, Variety = 5; Value = 4…read more While I was drawn to Momstera Lounge by a special event, my priority was to explore this shop for a housewarming gift. Instead I came away with so much more. Especially discovering that it is a #PinayOwned small business. A quaint and cosy boutique shop right next to the VTA light rail track in Campbell. I missed the window label that proudly announced it was a small, Filipina woman owned business. A shirt with Filipino words alerted me that this was a special store fostering my cultural pride. Meeting the owner, Charlene, confirmed my discovery that she started this business 3 years ago. The shop's wall adorn by handmade paintings & a mural that conveys Charlene's spirit of her shop. While small, it was captivatingly fun to explore every nook and cranny. She even showcases and supports other women entrepreneurs. I was immediately drawn to the ZZ plants. She helped me understand the symbolism of them which inspired me to buy 2 smaller ones to help a loved one through her grief and for me to inspire my continued 2025 manifestation journey. At home, I discovered a very personal message of gratitude with a picture of one of the original artwork and an affirmation card. Knowing her origination story and impact of the store, inspires me to put Charlene's store on my short list of places to find unique, soul-filled gifts. Yes, I can go to a garden or box store to find more affordable and variety of options. I am willing to pay a slight premium knowing the Campbell overhead, each product was especially curated, and to support a fellow Pinay with her soul purpose driven small business.

While I can't speak to some of the other planes, the selection of Japanese maples here is amazing. Bloodgood, Emperor One, Fireglow, Skeeter's Broom...there are varieties here that I didn't even know existed. The trees come in various sizes and are priced according to how big they are, from smaller sized ones on the cheaper end to huge trees that will definitely require a truck to bring back home. I will say that the pricing is a bit on the higher side (think $200-400 for a maple), but the plants are in good condition and good quality. This is a self serve nursery, so don't expect much in terms of service or help -- but if you know what you're looking for or just want to browse the selection, it's a great place.

1/2 A Hidden Gem for Plant Lovers…read more Wholesale Central Nursery is a great find, tucked away just off Southwest Expressway. The nursery is impressively well-organized, with clearly defined areas for house plants, outdoor plants, and a standout succulent section. I originally came in looking for a house plant and was pleasantly surprised by their large and diverse selection. All of the plants looked very healthy and well cared for--something you don't always see. While some prices felt a bit on the higher side, the quality definitely reflects the value, especially with how vibrant and well-maintained everything is. The succulent area, in particular, was a highlight--so much variety and at very reasonable prices. I'll definitely be back soon to explore more!

If you need something new or have something old that needs servicing, their prices are in line, and their staff is knowledgeable. The one thing keeping them from a 5th star is their ridiculous 30% restocking fee. If you buy something and want to return it unused, that's a pretty raw deal. So, before you buy something from them, make dang sure you need it. Other than that, this is a great shop.

Who knew lawnmowers needed to be serviced?! Apparently, this is the only location in the Bay Area that services lawn equipment. We lucked out with parking right out front, but this place gets busy so you may need to park on the street. Minus 1-star for each of the following: All-in we paid $299 for the service (parts and labor) which I honestly thought was kind of expensive given that you could buy a brand new lawnmower for a few hundred bucks more, but who am I to say as I'm not the one actually mowing our front lawn. Service is EXTREMELY SLOW. We walked in and took a number right away and the 2 cashiers were already helping customers. I saw ~6 employees walk throughout the store while I was waiting to be called up. An older Hispanic gentleman actually cut the line and went straight to the cashier without having a number. What is the point of having a number ticketing system if you're not going to enforce it?!
