Because she was waiting for a special blade to arrive, she wasn't able to do my brows during the first appt, but we got my paperwork filled out. Although I would rather not have driven down to west Philly to only fill out paperwork, I appreciated that she wanted to be cautious and wait for her blade. The groupon included the first session and a touch-up. Jamila applies a numbing cream to help with the process. It is painful but very tolerable. During the 4 week healing process, you are given instructions and balm for your healing brows. About 2 weeks in, I texted Jamila with concerns regarding the faded pigment, but she said it was very normal. She was right, it did come back. Also, my brows grew more which we think was due to the follicles being stimulated by the microblading. Bonus! There was a scheduling issue with my follow-up and Jamila rectified the issue. She also offered a facial or 3rd touch up if I wanted, due to the issue. I haven't utilized the 3rd follow-up as I am very satisfied with my brows. I still use some powder to achieve a certain look but overall, there is minimal touchup needed on my brows, and I am very happy with the results. Tip: Avoid alcohol within 24 hours before. I forgot this before the touch-up which ended up being much more painful than the first appt!
