I've been multiple times on my own and I also brought my bridal party here for manicures the day before my wedding. Just had a Sports Manicure there today! Huyen took care of me, and I explained to her I had NEVER had a manicure before. That the most I'd do at home is clip my nails when they are getting lengthy and call it a day. Because I've never had a manicure before, I was curious and asked questions to which Huyen happily answered. This just goes to show, 1) great customer service, I felt sure I was in good hands! and 2) they know what they're doing, and are very skilled!! I had such a good experience today for my first manicure, that I also scheduled a pedicure for a later date, while I was getting my manicure. So yes, I'll definitely be coming back! Two weeks after getting gel nails and they're already chipping (and I mean exactly 2 weeks later). The prices are never clear- you can book online and then they'll charge you for a completely different price when your service is finished. They love to say "that's after the discount was applied"- if that's after a discount, then how much was it originally? Paying $50 for plain gel nails is expensive for this area, let alone gel nails that chip after 2 weeks. Save your money and go someplace else with higher quality! read more

Easy to schedule an appointment - I would suggest you call or schedule online as supposed to walk-in. I got the deluxe pedi and my feet feel amazing. All the pedi I had before the technician barely massage my feet and I hated that - not at Indulge, I literally felt my feet pressure points poppin' They don't rush on their service and you left with the best possible looking nails you could have. I was really excited to find a place like Indulge that does hard gel and has good reviews. My manicure was great but I left very upset with the place. I'll explain why but I gave it 3 stars because they did attempt to make it right and the actual manicure was good. My issues were regarding transparency with cost. On the website it says a hard gel full set is $65. Great. This is what I paid in hawaii when I lived there. What they don't tell you is that hard gel doesn't include gel polish. I've never heard of hard gel without gel polish but it's an extra $17. Then I had asked for multiple colors on my nails (not ombre where it's a gradient on one nail) and I was charged an extra $25 for "ombré nails." Now this was after I told the technician I was concerned about cost so I didn't want her to extend any of my nails. I said I was fine filing them down to be shorter instead of longer because I knew they'd charge me for it. (She didn't mention this when she offered it, but I read it on the website.) Also, when I left she told me she didn't charge me for the nail extensions and it kind of seemed like she was saying this was a favor. So instead of paying $65 like I thought I paid $107 plus tip which is not worth it to me. After the appointment, I sent an email to the salon letting them know I was upset about this and then I didn't think I should be charged for those after looking up what ombré nails were on Google and realizing this is not what I got. The owner did say if she would refund both extra charges even though she thought the website was transparent... which I appreciated. What I didn't appreciate is that in order to get the refund she made me come back and switch my gel polish to regular polish. I was actually fine with this because I'd had the other colors a week and was happy to have a new color already, but I thought it was very childish and it felt like she was punishing me for calling them out on lack of transparency. It also wasn't that they needed me there to do the refund because she didn't need my credit card and it's all stored on the computer. It also seems silly to make her staff do more work to get less money but that's her right to make that decision. So in all, it was almost handled correctly/politely. I have another appointment coming up for a fill and I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep it or not. It just felt very uncomfortable being in the salon after this solution that felt a bit spiteful. I'm not sure if the nail technician was mad about it or having a bad day or if that was just her baseline personality, but she didn't make me feel welcome or act understanding. She did, however, still do a great job on my nails, so I can't say she took the mood out on her work performance which was a good sign. read more

This space is really cute! I stupidly got a spray tan the day before and therefore couldn't get the usual soaks they do for pedicures and manicures. I was charged the full amount for a pedicure even though it was just a nail polish change. I wasn't asked to pick out my color, first time that happened to me! They did have a great selection of colors from many brands. It's evident that this places values their repeating clients and you can tell the technicians and customers have a strong connection. My technician spent a lot of time on her phone so that made me feel a little unwelcome. There was also a drink station and while other guests were offered drinks, I wasn't. The gel manicure was good however my polish started lifting 6 days after getting them done. I am highly critical of nail salons because my mom owns one but I recommend trying this place out! i went to this place for scattered circle gems on my nails and left with clusters of shapes that should be on macaroni art. the nails were very expensive so i decided to go back to have them fix it. those nails turned out cute, but within a day the tips of the almond shape were failing off. over 6 of the nails are broken and the chrome is very chipped off on every nail. i would not recommend coming here to anyone. between the price and what seems to be cheap products, it is not worth the money which is a bummer because the people are soo nice. read more

Honestly, this is the first and only nail studio I've used in Philly since I moved her a few years ago. I stopped in here yesterday for a quick manicure on a neighbors recommendation and I couldn't get in at my usual spot! I am very loyal to my salons, so I would have waited for another time to go, but decided to give it a try. I have to say, Indulge has given my usual spot a run of it's money! (A bonus that this place is closer to my house) While the space is small, it is beautifully decorated with cool colors and classic yet trendy design while achieving a very zen atmosphere! Let me start off by saying that I am extremely particular about the way that my nails are shaped and painted (it's almost anal) so I always feel bad for the tech that gets me. I was immediately seated at the counter and offered: tea, coffee or wine, which I always find a nice touch. All the girls are chatty and engaging, but are very focused on the task at hand, none of that banner between the techs, where they don't include you and you just sit there getting worked on. (One of my pet peeves!) Maddie did my nails and she was AMAZING! She was warm and friendly, but more importantly is she is meticulous and very precise in her execution, I didn't need to give her much direction and she was very diligent in cleaning up my super dry cuticles and applying one of the most fussy colors to wear! (OPI- Funny Bunny) and she was very intuitive to when I wasn't quite as happy with something! All in all, I would absolutely come here again and recommend this salon to anyone, you will NOT be disappointed. I was lucky enough to just walk in, but an appointment might be better as the space is limited. I've been going here for a while and overall my experience has been decent. However, it's never a consistent experience. My last few instances have been rather frustrating. I've consistently had issues with billing. The first time, I just wanted glitter polish but instead the nail tech used a dip powder, which was fine but the price cost just as much as my gel refill and to my friends it "wasn't worth the price". Given that I was in a rush that day, I let that charge go. The next time I went, I had a good experience, no billing issues. My last and final time I went was about a week ago. The nail tech didn't know the prices to anything this particular week (although she gave me a run down of prices the last time I visited her), so I knew I was in for another surprise bill. Yep! I was "mistakenly" charged an extra $15 for my service. In that moment, when the final price was communicated to me, I questioned it. The nail tech informed me it was because my nails grew (side bar- it was less then a half of inch in growth) and the nail salon charges for length. I couldn't believe that!! So I checked my bill later that day and found out I was overcharged in another service by $15. I immediately notified the salon (called, texted and emailed). I was informed the charge would be reversed by end of day and if not, to call and remind them. What?! So now, Im the secretary for the salon?! I have to call and remind the business to credit my count for the overcharge? I'm busy as well!! ‍ Fast forward one week later (present day), I still have not been refunded! Instead, they have asked me to send them my address so they can issue a check. What?! My service was not paid by check! Why do I now have to wait another week for a check that may never come?! Give this comment a like if you think I deserve my refund in the same method I paid for my service or via another expedited method?! Now, if I had to rate this business based on quality nails rather than how business is conducted and customer issues are handled. I'd give them a 5. Unfortunately, I'm rating the overall business and in the world of competition, how you treat people will always prevail. Based on my experience, I'm no longer a loyal customer but I wish them well (which is why I gave three stars rather than one). read more
