Came here for a pedicure -- got the dazzle dry in a lovely pink color. They have a large selection of polishes and I didn't have to wait when I arrived at my reservation time. I felt that the inside could have been a little bit cleaner as there was some residual sand in one of the pedicure tubs next to me. And I felt that the pedicure stations were a bit too crammed together space-wise. I've been to other nail salons in Philly that offer lower prices and extra touches like free mocktails, which this place did not offer, so docking one star. Otherwise it was a good experience! read more

Lacquer Lounge - Pedicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

This is hands down the best place to get a mani-pedi in Philly. The salon is absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully curated and so clean you could eat off the floor. You can feel that the team is genuinely happy and well taken care of, which makes such a difference in the overall experience. Every manicurist I've seen has been incredibly skilled. I've tried a different artist each time and have never been disappointed. The quality and consistency here are unmatched. Highly recommend. read more

Everyone at the salon is top notch! From Paige checking me in with a smile to Sophy being the absolute Best technician giving me the most perfect Mani and Pedi I've ever had. Lacquer Lounge Nail Salon NEVER disappoints. read more

I got a wax from Paige and she did awesome! I would definitely come here again and it was very clean and sanitary.

I went to Lacquer Lounge to get my nails and toes done before my bridal shower! I made an error online while rescheduling the time - and found that I only rescheduled one service and forgot to add the other. My fears were quickly calmed when the staff reassured that they could fit me in. Not only did my nails look fabulous for a special day, but the staff went above and beyond to make the experience relaxing and enjoyable. I will be recommending Lacquer Lounge to anyone who is looking for reliable and quality service before a special event. read more

I was lied to, blamed for a poor outcome, and then banned from booking again because I asked for a refund. I debated leaving a review because I didn't want to judge an establishment based on one bad manicure. However, the customer service I received as a response to asking for a refund for poorly done work was awful. Their site allows you to book with a specific nail tech but they apparently don't always follow that request and just place you with anyone. I booked with a nail tech who I felt was more than capable of doing the design I asked for but when I arrived was put with a tech whose work I was not familiar with. I show the nail tech the design I want and she informs me I might not be able to get it done because I didn't book nail art. She looks at her books before starting the manicure and tells me she does in fact have time. She does my nails she's super nice and the manicure process itself was pleasant however she was not able to do what I asked for. It looks a little off but I decide to trust the process. Until I get outside and see how smeary and messy the design is. This manicure cost $108 and looks like it was done at home by a beginner. I inform Lacquer Lounge via email that I was unhappy with the outcome and that I want a refund. The email I received back basically blames me for the outcome because I didn't book enough time. "The tech wasn't prepared but did her best to accommodate me." Despite the fact that the nail tech looked directly at her books before starting and told me she DID have time. They also called me the night before asking if I needed time for gel removal. I told them I did. End of call. But in the email I'm told I didn't book gel removal and that that took away the time needed to do the nail art correctly. She offers to let me come in and get them redone but I don't have time for that plus her email is off-putting and not really somewhere I want to go back to. I inform her that I did book time for removal. That I would've appreciated it if they had just been honest with me about their ability to do the design instead of trying to "accommodate" me. I again requested a refund. I was absolutely right to question the tone of the owner's email because when I got on the phone true colors were revealed. The owner of Lacquer Lounge straight up lied to me telling me I didn't book the things that I did and that when she spoke to me on the phone she asked me about nail art as well as gel removal. She NEVER asked me about nail art. Here's the funny thing and proof that she lies. If she spoke to me on the phone the night before to ask about gel removal and nail art why did she then proceed to lie in the email and say I did not book gel removal? She never asked me on the phone about gel nail art. It was a 37-sec phone call. I would not be going back even if they didn't ban me but I'm writing this as a warning! If you do book book with Jade or Valentina. As you can see from their IG they basically only post the work of those two and then hit you with a bait and switch when you arrive. I shared my experience with a community Facebook group and there were plenty of people who had experiences similar to mine. Issues with the booking system, switching techs, poor quality, and blaming the customer. read more

I'm a newer customer, since the end of December 2023, and I wouldn't go anywhere else despite many closer nail salons. First, they have Dazzle Dry, which is so hard to find and well worth the drive.. The nail staff are very nice and the vibe is welcoming. I also really appreciate Paige's wax service. Finally, there's parking!!! read more

Was in town for a wedding. Needed to get a mani/pedi and called in to see if they could squeeze my daughter and I in. From talking to them to get an appt ... all the way through services and paying... the team there was great! Immediately felt welcomed when we arrived. Very clean space and professional services !! Would recommend their services !! read more

This is my favourite place in Philly for get my nails done! Manicure and Pedicure (in this last one highly recommended take the extended massage). My only suggestion would be have a more comfortable chairs or sofas, in both services that's the only part of the service that I don't enjoy. I just tried the wax service with Paige, and is not enough if I said she is AMAZING! She was really kind and in every moment was so patient with me, explaining me everything and helping me to feel comfortable. I consider myself a very picky client so believe me when I said this place is really good. read more

I had an Ooh La La mani and pedi with Lina and it was wonderful. It was so relaxing and my hands and feet felt and looked wonderful. I always get great service at lacquer lounge. The place is clean, everyone is so pleasant to work with!

Best hard gel manicure I've ever had! Such great attention to detail. High quality service. The prices are quite high though. $100 for a hard gel refill. Would definitely recommend for a special occasion or if you want to treat yourself. read more

First time here and will be coming back ! Very well run and organized. From initial scheduling of the appointment details on what to expect and ensuring tips were done in cash. Always helpful to give customers a heads up prior to coming in. It was excellent pulling into the appointment and having a parking spot behind the building. The shop is extremely clean and the staff is so friendly. Overall quality and time spent on the manicure you can tell about the level of quality of their services. This will be our main place to go now ! read more

I have a couple of friends who go here and suggested it to me! One of the nail techs won best manicurist in the city and they've won a ton of other awards. I moved and then covid happened so I had to find a new nail salon once Philly allowed this service to reopen. It's a super cute and clean salon. More high end than what I'm used to with my nail salons in the past. That, and being in Old City, makes this more pricier than what I'm used to. A classic manicure is $25 and a classic pedicure is $45. If you want French, it's an additional $10. This visit I spent $80 for a regular mani and pedi. I personally don't think the pedicure I received this time was worth $45 but definitely quality work, service, and polish. I've been going for a few months now and my manicures last 2 weeks! Free parking in the lot literally next door and you can tip the manicurist with Venmo! read more

Lacquer Lounge is easily the best place to go for a manicure and all your esthetics needs. Every nail tech there cares for the health of your nails so much and I've left with a quality manicure every single time. I also get my eyelashes lifted and tinted by Kat and I've seen so much natural growth in my lashes ever since I started going! Valentina is the BEST. I accidentally broke a nail two weeks after my manicure with her and they were able to get me in the very next day to fix it. The amount of care they show for their clientele is incredible and I will never go anywhere else. Best salon in Philly! read more

After my first horrible experience and review, LL's owner reached out to me to rectify the problem. I appreciated her prompt and honest response in order to address my concerns. I made a follow up appointment to give LL another chance. This time, after reading the reviews, I wanted no one BUT Nicole. She was meticulous in her care of my nails. She did not file them too harshly and she took her time applying the base, color, and top coats. The process took a while (about 2 hours), but thats because I had a gel removal process which took longer than expected. My appointment was 2 weeks ago and went very well. I thank LL for asking me to return so that they could give me a better experience. The service was comped as well. Normal gel manicure is $40. Nicole took her time and my gel manicure lasted a full 14 days. read more

This salon has been in my radar for quite some time! I went here on a Saturday before my birthday to *treat myself*. The employees were great and the whole salon was so clean! It does not have the typical salon smell and looked so chic and cozy! They have a great color selection. The design I wanted was executed well and I'm in love with it. I'm not giving it five stars because 1. My thumb nails aren't the same size (and it's driving me nuts) and 2. I have a lot of leftover product under my nails which makes my nails seem kind of ridiculous and bulbous. After spending so much money on my nails, I should be showing them off to everyone however I feel slightly embarrassed because they just seem silly! This is my first time getting polygel but based on my research, they shouldn't be so thick. read more

Such experience and wonderful staff :) my sister in law had a great time getting her nails done in preparation for a surprise engagement which she had no idea which day it was going to be on. Our tech was creative and had great suggestions on which color and how to shape her nails read more

I've gotten several manicures and pedicures at Lacquer Lounge over the past few years (all regular, not gel, just my preference), and it's been a great experience each time. Friendly service, CLEAN, and chic inside. Plus my nails usually last at least 7-10 days, which is good for a regular nail job in my opinion. However - the reason I'm leaving this review is because of the Brazilian Wax I got today. It was my first time getting a wax other than my eyebrows and Danielle not only did an incredible job with the wax itself, but she made me feel so comfortable, safe and at ease from the minute I walked into the waxing room. She walked me through the entire thing as it was happening and also gave me detailed instructions on aftercare of my skin once she was finished. I highly recommend going to her for your waxing needs! And get a mani/pedi while you're there :) read more

WAXING Danielle is the best waxer! I have followed Danielle around to each of her places of employment. She is the only waxer I have come across who does a thorough job and genuinely cares about her clients. Additionally, she is well-educated and provides tips that yield the most desirable results. When it comes to getting waxed, she makes the whole experience comfortable and painless which is essential when it comes to brazilians and any other waxing services. BROW LAMINATION & LASH LIFT/TINT Danielle also did the brow lamination, lash lift & tint services on me. She gave me great results and explained each step to me throughout the process. After receiving these services I wake up having to wear minimal to no makeup! read more

New to the city and found this place on Yelp. Easy to book. I got a classic manicure and oh la la pedicure done by Inna. Excellent experience. Salon was clean and decor was cute. Nina's not a big talker but neither am so it was perfect for me! Big bonus is the music! Playing classics from the 50s and 60s gave the place a cool vibe. I'll be back. read more

GO SEE NICOLE stat . If you want the best manicure you've ever had . She is seriously the best . I went in and my nails were completely JACKED by another salon on south street --ridges , bubbles , baaaaaaaddddd. I came on yelp and looked for help and I found it in the form of this Nail .Goddess . She takes her time , is meticulous and does things right . I seriously never thought my nails could look this good and she blew me away and exceeded my wildest expectations. The bad acrylic job I had had to be soaked and filed but she was much more gentle than any of the rude salons I've been to . She is a great conversationalist but doesn't overtalk you like at some salons . She has fun with it and she never cut a corner . She suggested a corrective gel for which I am eternally grateful and then also suggested I grow them out round before having them filed into stiletto - another great Reccommendation . Then a pretty clear manicure with a neon French tip . Fun! A bit more expensive than your corner store but well worth every penny . You get what you pay for , and Nicole is the best ! read more

Got an amazing pedicure! So clean, did fabulous job on the polish, and friendly staff. Recommend.

Nicole has done it yet again with her talent and yet, she's so humble about how she can make me feel fabulous, even when I'm not feeling my greatest, I always walk out with a smile. I found this spot when I moved to the city a few months ago & I will never go anywhere else for a pedicure while living in this area. I typically get the "Cure All Pedicure" which is the most relaxing treatment I have ever gotten. The salon is absolutely adorable, the staff is amazing, and great service. I typically go to Ana, and sometimes I get my eyebrows waxed here too. Same thing goes for the waxing- I wouldn't go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done. 10/10 review from me. Lacquer Lounge is the best of the best!! I moved to Philadelphia a year ago and have had such a hard time finding a nail salon that was both CLEAN and FRIENDLY. The employees at Lacquer Lounge are sophisticated and trustworthy. I walked in and was greeted by an upbeat and trendy front desk associate. She was awesome and brought me my Prosecco as I waited for a nail technician. Myriam made my experience even better when I explained to her my previous mishaps at salons before. She was empathetic and helpful and my nails look amazing. So fresh, so shiny, so well done !! She made me feel very comfortable as I switched from a looooong time of getting a hard gel/poly gel manicure to a traditional gel manicure. I feel like me again !! I will definitely be back.
