I've had my fair share of spray tans over the years (my husband eve part owned a salon that gave them), and I have never had a color choice like the ones given here. I thought it was awesome! Originally I thought I would want to go darker with the "espresso" and Fran sprayed me, let me look at my tan line, and let me decide. But she was right, "mocha" was just perfect. It's your option to wear (or not) whatever you want. They do have disposable thongs available if you don't want to go au naturale, but want as much color as possible. Fran took her time with me, and even applied baby powder to soak up excess moisture on a very hot day to prevent streaking. Conversation was great and she was super professional. This can certainly be an awkward thing and Fran made me feel completely at ease. If this is your first spray tan be prepared to not get wet for 8-12 hours although for $10 more they have an express option which allows for showering in just 3 hours. Wear baggy dark clothes, exfoliate and shave prior to your appointment. Booking same day was super simple, but I would recommend calling at least a few days in advance. There's 10% with Yelp check-in and BOGO half for first timers. Went with the latter option and cannot wait to return the next time and get sprayed again when I have another special occasion or just want to feel extra golden and sexy. I UV tan regularly and this color is so incredibly difficult to attain that way. Plus, this spray is organic and much bette for you! They also have a full spa downstairs offering facials and lash services. Parking unmetered out front was super simple. Went perfectly with grabbing a bite at Suraya down the street. Awesome find!!

Ok so for about a month now I have been continuing my regularly scheduled appointments with my eyelash extraordinaire the brilliant Miss. Jewellee. I'm a makeup junkie and prior I was strictly a strip lash girl, loved my falsies. Then I finally head over heels for extensions I always wanted to try but very hesitant I wish I woulda have done it earlier. With the exception of skipping my signature oil based liquid liner that's only downside of wearing extensions but there are other alternatives. Just try it once you will be in love with the absolutely flawless look you can have when you wake up in the morning. I will always be in love with my falsies but there is absolutely nothing like cutting my daily makeup process time in half in the mornings. My best advice if your thinking of trying it is do your homework just to cover all the bases, and head your bootie over to the divas at Studio KP for your lash experience. Reasonably priced- remember you get what you pay for it's an investment. Most importantly, Clean and chill environment, inviting atmosphere, friendly accommodating staff. I'm very picky and a certified germ-a-phobia lol, so if I'm recommending it believe me you too will fall in love too. Treat yourself!! read more

I HIGHLY recommend Kelly if you're thinking about Dermaplaning!!! When I first heard about Dermaplaning, I was iffy to try because I was scared to have my facial hair grow thicker and darker. After many researches and reading people experiences, I decided to give it a try. I heard alot of great things about KP Studio and made an appointment. Kelly was very responsive and professional. She was also helpful in giving me insight of how the process work. She used this razor to gently scrape the surface of my skin, taking bits of dead skin and dirt away with each motion. During the procedure, I didn't even feel the scrapping, it was matter of fact VERY relaxing and soothing!! The procedure gave me smoother, brighter, and more even skin. It eliminated all my unwanted peach fuzz and facial hair. I feel so refreshing and brand new! My face feels so smooth and clean! I highly recommend anyone to give it a try especially with Kelly! I've heard so much great things about this salon. So I went and tried their lash service. The salon is a great size. Very clean and the employees there are friendly and great. I've went to the back where the lash salon is located. In there was a very comfy atmosphere. Sophia, my lash tech... gave a brief consultation of the selections they have. Of course I wanted something with volume. Lol... I laid down and let her work her magic beautifying me. It was so relaxing on the lash table, music was just right...& eventually I had fell asleep. When I woke up, omgoodness I was blown away with my lashes. It was more than what I expected. I LOVE my lashes. I highly recommended getting your lashes done here. Kelly's lashes are meticulous. Her space is clean and private... you can easily book appointments online and she's available after work hours and even on weekends. She really takes her time on you but also moves so fast to customize a lash set that's best for your face. With Kelly, I realized a hybrid of classic and volume is for me ( I work out everyday and have a thinner natural lash so this gives me a natural but fluffy full look- thanks for the suggestion!) She offers promos and packages which make her even more affordable. I have gone to all types of lashes---big salons, chains, at home and Kelly is by far the best! She really cares about her clients, she doesn't count lashes, and the fact that she's really nice and funny only makes the appt more enjoyable and fly by!! I highly recommend her to any girl on the go who gets lashes as part of her routine. read more

After hearing rave reviews about Lashing Lely, I decided to give it try. Kelly did not disappoint. She did an amazing job. I told her how I want my lashes to be. She explained to me the different type of lashes that are available and gave me some suggestion on what will be a good fit me. The whole process took about 2 hrs. She took her time to put on the individual lashes. There was no irritation and lashes stayed on for a good three weeks. I got a lot of compliments from friends and family. Because I had such a good result with my first set of lashes, I decided to come back to Kelly to have my lashes done again for my wedding. My makeup artist also does lashes and she was very impressed with my mine and asked who did it for me. I will definitely come back again! read more

You can easily walk right past this place on such a busy street on Walnut. Glad I came here to get my big ugly toes soaked and pampered in City Nails while my ladybug got her lashes done in the studio, which is all the way in the back of the salon. One stop shop. I sat and waited for her while she was getting her lashes done. It took a while but the result afterwards was impressive. These ladies are hilarious as I ear hustled while lounging on the couch. They were all joking and laughing, the techs and clients. The atmosphere was very chill. They even offered to do my lashes, specifically on the outer corners to give my manly lashes a cat flick. No Thanks girls. My girl loved her lashes and already pre booked her next appointments. read more

Sofia is an absolute master at her craft. Other studios/artists will often give you the biggest/thickest lashes possible, resulting in a very fake and over the top look. Sofia does not. She fits the lashes to your face and you end up with the ultimate "oh my gosh your lashes look beautiful but I can't tell they're not real" look. However, when I called to make an appointment, I was told she no longer does microblading and that I needed to come in for a consultation. During the consult, I was told that my brows were too pigmented and needed lightening treatments before they could be redone. I went through a series of six lightening treatments, each costing around $150. After the treatments, I was finally able to get my brows done again. A year later, I received a message from the salon reminding me that it was time for my yearly touch-up. When I tried to schedule, I was informed that the artist who originally worked on my brows was no longer there. I was asked to send pictures of my brows to a new artist, which I did, and then asked when I could come in. I responded that I was available anytime. Later, I received a message saying I needed to come in for another consultation to make sure the new artist could do my brows, and only then could I schedule an appointment. Now, I'm being told once again that my brows are too pigmented and that I need to wait until December. I was told my brows had too much pigment when I first started going, and now I'm hearing the same thing again. To begin with, my eyebrows are super sparse so I had to fill them in everyday. Most of the time even the pomade came off half way through the day so then you're left with half brows haha. Anyway, did some research and looked at a lot of reviews. Forever Valentine hit every box I wanted and never knew I needed. Their appointments get filled up really fast so you have a keep an eye out on when they open them up. I snagged a spot with Susannah, but honestly all of them do amazing work. She made it super comfortable and my eyebrows came out amazing. Structured yet natural looking. They come out super dark in the beginning but then fade a bit as your skin accepts the ink and scabs. Aftercare is super important so make sure you do that and you're eyebrows will be amazing!!
