Love Studio KP! So glad I found them after switching salons a couple months ago.. turns out two of the girls used to work at the previous salon I went to and I'm extremely happy I found them. Jewellee and Sofia are AWESOME at their work. My lashes always turn out great and the retention is always amazing. The studio is super cute and cozy and they always have good music playing.. its always so relaxing that I fall asleep almost every time. Oh -- and they have the best prices in the city.. I would know, I've been getting my lashes done for about 6 years straight now and I've tried a couple other places over the years. Not switching any time soon though! Unless the girls up and move salons and I'd have to follow them :) PS. I have been getting my eyelashes done by Sofia since August and I have to admit I am obsessed. Eyelash extensions are one of those things that accents your eyes, makes them appear larger and flirty and you wake up feeling beautiful, even when you have no makeup on at all! Sofia always helps me achieve the look I want whether it's cat eye, natural classic or hybrid with volume! But all of the girls do an amazing job and they educate you on taking care of your lashes so they don't ruin your natural lashes or fall out (which is a myth only if you don't go to a good place or take care of your lashes) you can get the most time in between fills. I get mine filled about every 3 weeks. I love this place, I love the girls! I wouldn't consider myself a "high maintenance" girl but getting my lashes done is something I splurge on and to me is worth every penny! :) read more

I wanted lash extensions for the longest time but I was very hesitant on who I wanted to go to. Kelly was recommended to me by one of my close friends. I looked at her previous work through her instgram (@lashinglely) and her reasonable prices and they had me sold. I made an appointment and the rest is history. I have been going to Kelly religiously ever since. You can really tell that Kelly has such a passion for what she does. She's always posting about better ways to care for your lashes, what it looks like if your lash stylist isn't doing it correctly, and she's always trying to learn of better techniques/supplies that will help the lashes stay on longer. Kelly is organized, clean, and precise. These things are very important to me since the eye is a vulnerable part of the body. She takes her time and makes sure the lashes are not clumping and that they are comfortable on your eyes. She also has very good taste. In the beginning I did not really know what I wanted so Kelly worked her magic and every time my lashes have looked flawless. She caters to what your eyelashes can handle. In the beginning my eyelashes were very short and thin so they couldn't handle really heavy/full lashes. Kelly took the time to put smaller lashes on my smaller ones which made my lashes looked fuller. Kelly is patient and cares for her clients. Through nursing school and work, there are only certain times where I am available to come and Kelly has moved her schedule around before to make time for me. I have seen her open up the shop super early, in order to cater to her client's needs. I have recommended Kelly to many of my friends and I am recommending Kelly to you. I would definitely encourage those who are interested to give it a try if you don't mind taking a gamble. This was only my second time getting lashes and now that I've had a much more favorable experience elsewhere I'm even more disappointed. Atmosphere: 5/5 Upstairs where you enter the studio is very cute and feminine definitely feels like a place where you'd be beautified. The lash tables are extremely comfortable, it's a bit chilly but the offer cozy blankets. The music was so good and relaxing, I definitely feel like any body could enjoy it. Experience: 1/5 I believe my lash tech's name was Michelle. She was very friendly and tried to ensure I was as comfortable as possible. She was very meticulous in taping around my eyes. However a customer came in to purchase lash supplies not to long after she began applying the lashes and I laid waiting for about 20 minutes. Our appointment was already scheduled for about 3hrs so it was a little annoying. When she returned she began working but seemed a bit flustered. Nearing the end of our appointment time I asked her if she would mind if I called my neighbor to have her meet my daughter at the bus stop and she stated she was almost done. Her next client had arrived. She said we were done and started to remove the tape and giving me instructions. Looked at my lashes a bit disappointed because the left eye was noticeably more full then the right but I didn't really have time for her to fix it so I paid and left. Buy the time I arrived home I had about 8-10 lashes on either side of my face. Throughout the evening I began to lose more. The next morning I had less than half my lashes so I emailed with no response. I then sent a text where I explained that less than 3days later I couldn't qualify for a refill because I had lost so many lashes. They fit me in a time slot. I admit that I was about 15 minutes late for my time because I had difficulty finding parking but Michelle informed me that I was only scheduled for a half hour. I literally had about two lashes left on either side. A half hour would not have cut it when My full set took over 3 hours from start to finish.The lash tech clearly felt terrible. She worked as quickly as she could but to no avail. It was a huge waste of time. I had about 12 random lashes on my left and 7 on the right. It looked ridiculous. Michelle apologized and said she would talk with her boss. Later I texted her to forget about it and someone responded saying they would offer me a "free" full set with Michelle. I declined because her next availability was about 3 weeks out. I had specifically gotten my lashes done for Mother's Day and nurses week (thought it was a nice little way to finally celebrate myself) although they didn't make it to my Mother's Day brunch, I had little events booked throughout the summer that I would like to have just woken up prettier for. Update: I was offered the opportunity to have my full set done over with a master lash stylist or a refund. I currently have a lash stylist that I'm happy with so I opted for the refund. I appreciate the business owner's commitment to providing excellent customer service. In the future I would consider revisiting based upon the reviews (probably not with the same stylist). read more

This is my second time at studio kp. I have went somewhere else initially for my full volume set and was not super thrilled w the results and found studio kp on yelp. The reviews speaks volume to their work and professionalism. I had originally booked a volume refill w a junior stylist. She did great but after a week, more than 70% of my lashes from the fill had fallen out. I had reached out to the company and they got back to me quickly and got me me an appt right away to get it fixed and so accommodating. If they handled this differently, I prob would have never returned but I am glad I did. I worked with a senior stylist this time and she had inform me that from previous salon, the glue was very heavy handed and poor execution on the application might have been the reason for the lack of retention. I still have lots of glue as told by my lash tech. She did a great job but informed me that I my lashes can be fuller. My next appointment I booked for 90 mins to ensure enough time to make my lashes as glam as possible, and also for my wedding day. I am really hoping that this appointment and time allocated will make my lashes look super glam. Looking forward to the next appointment. read more

In the beginning the costumer service is great, but the more you keep getting serviced by them, the more they make you feel horrible & the more you start to see how they truly feel about their most loyal customers. Also, don't be fooled. The lashes that they do here is nice and all but afterwards they totally rips out your natural lashes! I love Studio KP! The environment is very clean and cute, when you come in everyone is very welcoming! I've been coming to Kelly since FOREVER! She's very comfortable to be around and always make me feel at home. Everyone in here is so nice and does such amazing work. The place is located in center city which is so convenient. You should drive though because there is usually traffic and parking gets a little tricky. There's also a bunch of stores around so make sure you have enough money to shop with after! I really look into things before I get it and I just can't imagine going to anyone else. A lot of work I see online look like spider legs which is kind of creepy. I'll stick with Studio KP because it's always a good time there and my lashes always look great!!! They also have jolly ranchers, I love the blue ones and Kelly always make sure she has a blue one for me since people usually take all of them. Wow! I have nothing but accolades for studio Kp. I came as a newbie to lash extensions, by recommendation of a few girls I work with. They have been so great communicating with me and working with my tough schedule. I have been fit in on short notice for fills more than once. And if you find you've had any issues with retention within the first few days, you can contact Kelly and she will schedule a free 30 spot to fill in the fall out. My morning routine has been cut to literally like 15 mins. I also have been getting my brows waxed and tinted with Aimee, which I highly recommend! I heard about this place through friends on Instagram so I decided to try it for myself. I really wanted lash extensions since mine are really light, short, and sparse. Ever since I got my first full set, I've been getting so many compliments about my lashes and how natural they look. Kelly is the best! I come to her from New Brunswick since I am away for school and she's been flexible with my schedule. Kelly cares a lot about the integrity her work as well as the comfort of her customers. She's always asking me if I'm feeling okay or if anything is making me feel uncomfortable. She's also really personable so you'll have no problem talking to her about anything.
