I went in person to schedule a lash lift and tint and specifically told the employee I wanted to use my ClassPass credits. When I asked how to book it through ClassPass, she told me, "Don't worry about it. You don't need to book it on there since we made the appointment here." On the day of my appointment, only one hour beforehand, I received a call saying they couldn't honor it because the Washington Square location doesn't use ClassPass. Five minutes later, they called back and said they would accommodate me. I again made it very clear that I wanted to use ClassPass and was willing to go to whichever location accepted it. They specifically told me to go to Washington Square. After my service, I was then told I couldn't use ClassPass because I hadn't booked through the app--even though the same employee who performed my service was the person who originally told me I didn't need to. Their explanation was that they're "fairly new on ClassPass and still figuring it out." I understand being new to the platform, but their mistake and repeated misinformation should not cost the customer money. I paid for the service, but I won't be returning and will be reporting the experience to ClassPass. If you're going to participate in ClassPass, your staff should understand how it works and honor what customers are told.

But for ABers, they have some pretty legit brands here: Sulwhasoo, OHUI, HIstory of Whoo, Isa Knox, Sansim, etc. They have skincare (toners, creams, face masks, etc.) and makeup (cushions, BB creams, lip sticks), but there's more skincare products than makeup. The associate here was awesome. There was no one else in the store when I went in and she greeted me, but not in the over-eager way. She was knowledgeable about the products and informed me they do eyelash extensions and brows here. When I told her I was just browsing, she actually left me alone to browse, which was great. And when it was done she really did somehow get rid of the tiny bumps on my face, I didn't even know that was possible. Oh and she was very Covid-conscious and wore a mask, which is notable at this part of the pandemic because not everyone understands the pandemic is still happening. So that was much appreciated. I called the number and there's no answer. I found another number on the website, so I left a voicemail asking for an explanation. This is extremely unprofessional and frustrating as I traveled to this shop and made my appointment in advance, when I could've went to another salon. If the shop is genuinely closed due to COVID or another reason, the option to make appointments online should be removed immediately, existing appointments should be canceled, and customers should be notified. I hope this issue is resolved ASAP, so no other potential customer is left stranded and dissatisfied.

We decided to stop in after receiving a flyer because we needed our brows threaded. I asked her to clean my brows up since I had recently had them threaded elsewhere and liked the shape. She did clean them, but afterwards they were shaped differently than before and I didn't like the new shape. They are a little thinner than I prefer and I am now waiting for them to grow in more. Further, the threading experience was much more painful than usual. My girlfriend had her brows done as well and also described the experience as very painful. After we left the shop I noticed that the skin under her brow was very red. Upon closer inspection, it became clear that her skin had been plucked/broken and it was scabbing over. The services were very expensive and I wish that we had been informed of the price prior to receiving the services. To be fair, we should have asked. The store was also very very hot and we were sweating/uncomfortable the whole time. Sheenam was very nice and again, I would love to be able to recommend her services, but sadly we were not satisfied and will not be returning.
