The staff here are some of the best I've ever encountered in my life!…read more So two days before my wedding, my (old) spray tan girl double booked me and couldn't take me. I call up Baked per a friends recommendation and the employees on the phone were SO accommodating and took my hysterical self in right away. Alexa did an AMAZING job and gave me the perfect pre-wedding glow. She calmed me down and made me feel comfortable the whole time! Afterwards, it started to rain (cue the hysterics again) and the employees were so so nice and lent me an umbrella and basically walked me to my car. Whenever I look back on my wedding day prep, I'll always look back on this experience and be so warmed by the kindness the employees at Baked showed me. I also added on teeth whitening the next day and it got me 4 shades lighter!! If you were even THINKING about teeth whitening or a spray tan you must come here! I cannot praise them enough!

The dentist assistant drowning me with water while my tooth was being drilled and then me having to wait so long for her to suction said water that I was swallowing it? Whichever I could start with I can say the last straw was the dentist assistant doing part of the procedure that required water and her getting said water in my hair and down my neck. When I went into the office I wasn't in pain, but 15 hours later I am now. I ended up leaving with the temp crown only because I have zero confidence in them.

Honest Review…read more Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make my appointment because of a death in my family. Literally one hour before my appointment, I received the devastating news that my cousin had passed away. Urban Oasis called, and when I returned the call, I was told that my appointment had been considered a no-show and that my deposit would not be refunded. I was told that I should have called earlier to reschedule, but honestly, when you receive a call that a family member has suddenly passed away, calling a massage parlor is not exactly the first thing on your mind. I understand having cancellation policies, but I also believe there should be some room for compassion and discretion when something completely unexpected and tragic happens. I would have appreciated the opportunity to simply reschedule my appointment and maybe have something relaxing to look forward to after receiving such heartbreaking news. Unfortunately, that won't be happening. It's disappointing when policies seem to take priority over basic empathy. We've become so consumed with money and policies that sometimes we forget there are real people experiencing real life circumstances on the other side of the transaction. So, just a heads-up: even if you experience a serious emergency, a car accident, or a death in the family, apparently make sure you call Urban Oasis immediately--or you may lose your deposit. I personally would have appreciated a little more understanding during an incredibly difficult moment.
