Originally I intended to get a set of lashes installed but after Izzy and I talked and my brows/lashes were looked over, we decided a lash lift and brow lamination were more my style. I figured they'd work perfectly with my weekday lazy girl makeup routine. The entire appointment was great, we chatted, I was given some much needed advice on how to start my brow grow out journey and what products can help with it, and got to learn a bit more about what the salon offers. In chatting I learned that the salon's been open for about two years and she participates in class pass, which is always a huge plus these days. She cares about making you look your best & made sure to give me an idea of what to expect at the start. I really appreciated that we talked before she started because once I got cozy, I wouldn't have been fully listening and fighting sleep. This surprises me but the appointment was actually so relaxing. I'd love to go back and see what other beauty treatments I can nap through. The space itself is super cute and has room for multiple services. There are private treatment rooms and a more open space currently for lashes & brows. The prices listed on the services menu also looked super reasonable to me - pro-tip: at home lash lifts don't go well (trust me), skip the DIY and treat yourself. This was my first brow lamination and second time getting a lash lift. The whole process was surprisingly relaxing and I was comfortable the entire time. It took about an hour in total, and the results were fantastic. I was looking for a subtle yet noticeable beauty boost since I don't wear much makeup. The vibe of the place is so chill as well. Sometimes women break one another down rather than lift each other up. Ms. Helena is not one of those women. She is warm, welcoming, kind, sweet and lovely in every way. She will treat you like a human being and there is no judgement here. If you are a plus size woman and are worried about being uncomfortable, don't be. You will be treated with grace and dignity from the moment you step foot in her ultra clean studio. Fast, neat, clean, virtually painless. Feel like a million bucks when you walk out. I live in Marlton, her studio is in Cinnaminson, roughly 35 minutes from my home. Gas is $5 per gallon and I would drive to her studio if she was an hour away, that's how happy I was with my service today. If you have any doubts, let them go. I appreciated them doing this for safety during this pandemic. Masks were worn and my temperature was also taken. Cortney did my brows and I think they came out looking great. I didn't even have to tell her to just do a soft arch and not overpluck them. I think she did one of the best jobs I have seen in years on these brows. I really can't overstate enough how frustrating it is how some of these salons just immediately go to taking off too much of my brow. I went in for a consultation two weeks before my actual appointment the stylist appeared knowledgeable but my results were less than desirable. I can say well after my appointment the dye job was perfect it has lasted longer than most applications. However, I showed a photo of the style I desired and I understand upfront my hair texture may not be the same as the person in the photo. But when you're chopping off your hair the cut should be close to the photo. It was a 'good' cut but, the thinning area on my sides were not considered when 'fading'. During my initial consultation the stylist said washing my hair will help to see the curl pattern it will help determine if I need twist or product for the desired look. None of that happened! My experience is really hard to explain I didn't get what I asked for but I was able to come home and work it out for myself. In the end I got a decent haircut and a good dye job so it wasn't a total bust. Would I go back or suggest this salon of 'natural hair care'? NOPE!
