Recently got a eyebrow lamination and the tech was so sweet honestly but did not ask me if I used tretinoin which I do unfortunately waxing left scars between my eyebrows (lighter and tried to cover with concealer) as well as the large cut down the side of my eyebrows. Really upset about this initially thought it was just be a little redness but it has only gotten worse. If I'd been asked about the use of the cream I 100% would have let her know. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE for Lash removal. *Edit* I got a last lift that I didn't love last year but for a special vacation with my fiancé this year I decided to treat myself and get a classic natural set. *The set was nice* I came in today, 2 weeks later to get the lashes PROFESSIONALLY removed... for the service I got today which I CANNOT BELIEVE they had the AUDACITY to charge me for, I may as well have played with bleach and tweezers and pulled them out myself. I'm not sure if this woman was in a rush,, or what the excuse is but I got there and once the process began my left eye started burning 5 minutes into the removal and because of that she had to wash my eye out, then proceeded to do the removal... the whole time there was a bunch of tugging and pulling and tweezer clipping.. I was so uncomfortable and tense the WHOLE time..like just immediate regret...at the end when she handed me the mirror I literally had to look at her and say "what is all this white stuff"? Like IF I SEE IT YOU SEE IT! I go to get fake lashes removed I expect to leave with the clean natural lashes I walked in here with. She cleaned them AGAIN and there was STILL OBVIOUSLY chunks of glue stuck all over my natural lashes... Additionally MOST OF MY NATURAL LASHES got removed with the false ones! I am utterly disappointed, disgusted and honestly irate. I will NEVER RETURN and I will NEVER RECOMMEND this location after my experience here today. I got my first ever set of eyelash extensions here. I had Vuthy as my lash tech and she is awesome. The 2 hour application seemed to go by much faster since she was so fun to chat with. I wasn't sure which lash style to go with but I chose classic, which ended up looking awesome since I already have a lot of natural lashes. I had a really bad lash job about a year ago and was so afraid of doing extensions again. After so many amazing reviews and seeing their work on a lot of girls, I decided to give it a second try. My appointment was with Chelsea. I told her my horror story and she walked through every step of what she was doing on my lashes which made me feel at ease. A 1 hour and 30 min appointment literally felt like 15 min. The girls here are so fun and easy to talk to. When Chelsea was done and told me to open my eyes. I couldn't believe it, it felt like nothing was on my eyes. The last time I got extensions, it felt so heavy and I could feel the lashes. I highly recommend work by Deanna. She does an amazing job and takes her time! She's also a great conversationalist ;) I haven't tried the extensions, but tried the lash lift. Which turned out awesome! It lasted almost 8 weeks for me. I have baby fine lashes but she made it work. I was never a mascara kind of girl, but the lift did make my eyes pop more. She's also extremely affordable! I went to a place 2x more in the center city area. Her shop is one of a kind and you feel like you get star treatment. She even has drinks (non-alcoholic) to offer you. I loved the lash lift; so I scheduled to do extensions in July. Will inform you of that experience. When it comes to lashes there's no other place in philly I would recommend! Both of the ladies I have had do my lashes are awesome (Dee and Chelsea). They are knowledgeable in the aftercare of your lashes and always take their time during your appointment. Any questions you may have their always available. Also, they have the best candies here to snack on while you wait. It always smells good in here and there clientele isn't a bunch of garbage bunnies! The only negative comment I have (if I was being picky) was that they strongly encourage you to set a follow up appointment when you leave rather than letting you call or schedule online on your own. My wife went to this place only to get scammed by the owner Dee. She had an appointment in which I paid for. Originally "Credit Card", when my wife got there she requested cash only. She seemed more entertained to younger girls for a class then my wife's appointment. My wife came home in tears to the fact that her eyelashes were butchered. The owner then went on to push the blame to my wife that she wasnt at fault. I highly advise people to stay away from this place. Instead of trying to fix my problem, the owner then goes to assume the review is fake. My account is new and I am from Philadelphia not CA. It is so unbelievable how unprofessional one could be. STAY AWAY! "How do you write a falsified negative review for a small local Philadelphia business when you reside in California?
