I've suffered from acne, especially hormonal acne my entire life, since hitting puberty. It was embarrassing and quite frankly, I had no idea what to do and tried everything. In comes Vivian. I met Vivian several years back, confused about why I was breaking out in cystic acne in my early twenties and I was panicking and ruining my skin further by home remedies I "researched", thinking it would work for me because it worked for others but not realizing my skin is different. My first consultation with Vivian, she explained to me and educated me that what I was doing was creating further problems for me and endangering my skin. She also kindly gave me samples and followed up with me after my first visit with her. Now, in 2021, with Vivian opening her own shop, of course I followed her and will follow her wherever she goes. I had an amazing Beauty Getaway facial with Vivian yesterday! She carefully asked about my history with facials and answered any questions before we begun. She was a pleasure to chat with, and everything she used on my skin smelled and felt amazing. I told her I was getting married in a few weeks and did not want any intense extractions, and she customized the facial perfectly to fit my needs. The price was extremely reasonable for a 1hr facial - just $59. The space is beautiful, and located in the dynamic East Passyunk neighborhood (my favorite neighborhood in the city). I am so glad I found this place and will be going to Vivian for all my skincare needs. Also, though they are not listed in the online booking system, Vivian also does deep tissue massages. I went to Purity for my first ever facial, a week before my wedding. Vivian was so sweet and helpful, she answered all of my questions in a kind, detailed way, recommended a facial to me based on my skin type and situation (even one that was cheaper than what I planned on getting) and walked me through the facial. Her salon is clean and beautiful. Even though I have nothing to compare it to of course, I thought the facial was amazing! My skin was absolutely glowing afterwards.
