The highlights (for me) are massages from Colleen, who is absolutely incredible, and the eyebrow shaping service as well.

Dr. Zelinger is phenomenal at what he does. Not only is he skilled, knowledgeable, and experienced,…read morehe's also an absolute pleasure to work with! My initial consult was for dark discoloration under my eyes. I've had under eye filler before but the problem now is really the skin coloring. He listened to my concerns, gave me options, and really took the time to explain everything. Eventually I decided that it wouldn't be worth it to try laser to the area. He was honest and realistic about the results, explaining that the treatment likely wouldn't make a huge difference in their appearance. How refreshing! He refunded my consult fee and I was so impressed with his professionalism that I decided to go back for filler to a different area. He put filler to my temples and cheeks. In the last few years, I didn't like how my face had been looking saggy and a bit unflattering. This gave me the LIFT I needed! My nasolabial folds are essentially gone and I look like I did three years ago. My confidence is soaring and the best thing--no one can even tell what I did. A coworker told me "you look refreshed today." Amazing I couldn't be happier. One last thing: I use these services mindfully... it's HARD being a woman with today's beauty standards. There is a balance between accepting your own imperfections and making small changes that enhance your natural beauty. Not to go on a whole tangent, but if that's also your viewpoint, Dr. Zelinger will help you achieve that. He says things like "natural is always better" and "I think you look great, but what matters is what you think." I love the way he communicates to encourage body positivity. Thank you again Dr. Z!!

Dr. Zellinger explained everything, completely prepared me for the procedure and though it hurt a bit, it was quick and the results are amazing. Definitely worth it and looking forward to returning for my second removal session in three months.

Dr. Bird and Dr. Reed are particularly kind, knowledgeable and willing to go that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. I ended up coming for a skin check and felt so comfortable. I went here once to have a spot looked at on my shoulder, and to be assessed for hair loss issues…read more The wait was about 20 mins (too long IMO, given that I arrived on time, before my appointment start time). The front desk receptionist and medical assistant (I forgot her name) were cool, but the PA (Paris Davis) was not. She essentially called my hair "dirty" because I don't always wash it as often as she'd recommend, and told me to "Google it" when I asked for details about a type of shampoo she was recommending. It was super odd, especially coming from a Black woman; she should know the problematic nature of insinuating that another Black woman is "dirty" for not washing her hair weekly. There are much kinder ways to explain things when you're trying to be helpful rather than egocentric. Overall, Paris's tone was condescending and I felt like she was annoyed by my clarifying questions. I am not interested in seeing any provider who can't treat patients with empathy, kindness, and curiosity; I got none of that from her. The medical assistant was much kinder and provided me with some recommendations for the shampoo I was asking about. I wouldn't recommend this place if you're considering going to see Paris, and I certainly am not going back. What a disappointment.

What is the purpose of making an appointment if he doctor doesn't keep it? Why didn't the office call me if he was running so late? Sorry, not waiting an hour or more to see a dermatologist. There are far too many options that value people's time.

Edit: Dr. Lipoff called me soon after I wrote this review to reach out and offer possible…read morealternatives for scheduling. I've bumped the review up a star for this. If the alternatives end up working, I can increase the rating some more in the future, but as of now it's too soon to say. Pros: Lipoff is friendly and sympathetic to the ridiculous, over-the-top requirements placed on patients who want acutane treatment. His handouts on different acne treatments were informative. Cons: The scheduling system makes me want to tear my hair out. They rely on various uses of AI that do nothing to make the system useful. This includes: 1) When you call customer service to talk to a person, you're connected to "Ana," an AI that pretends to be a real person. You go through your long explanation, deal with the back-and-forth of talking with a robot, realize you're talking to a robot who can't help you because it has been pre-programmed to respond to maybe 6 possible prompts, and have to demand to speak to a real person and start all over again. 2) They can never seem to figure out if appointments are supposed to be in-person or tela-health. I can provide the rep with all the information that Dr. Lipoff told me, and they will go back and forth on what the appointment is listed as, whether it needs to be one or the other, etc. I SUSPECT that this is connected to the AI usage but am not sure; the problems with this certainly got worse when they switched to the new AI bot. 3) Their system for scheduling appointments and/or for reminding patients about appointments are bizarre. At least 4 different times I had to call to cancel an appointment that (1) I never scheduled in the first place, (2) had scheduled but for a different date/time than what I received as a "reminder," or (3) had already cancelled but was still getting reminder texts about. One customer service person told me that the appointment reminder system was AI, which leads me to think that this may also be connected. Tl;dr: This clinic needs to rely on what actually WORKS - hiring competent administrative assistants - rather than pouring money into incompetent AI-powered systems that frustrate customers and force admin to correct AI's mistakes.
