I just had an awful experience at this salon and it's not the first time. I'm always made to feel unwelcome and like I'm an inconvenience even though I always make an appointment, show up on time, and tip my nail tech. They also charge extra for EVERYTHING, and charge more than any other salon I've been to or heard of. I was told at the beginning of this appointment my nails would cost $105, by the end of my appointment they now cost $115. When I questioned it they made me feel like i was stupid, as they did the entire appointment. Additionally, my nail tech, named Fanny, was extremely rough with my fingers. I winced and said "ow" multiple times throughout my appointment, to which Fanny repeatedly giggled at me as if she thought it was funny. This was my final straw with this establishment and I will never go back. read more

Part of me wants to gatekeep Styland and not tell you how great it is, but I really love them. They do great work, they are so efficient, and they have amazing color selection. I always call for an appointment first -- if you don't, you might be waiting a WHILE because they get busy. But they always answer the phone and it's easy to get in. Almost all of the nail techs do a great job, so I don't request anyone and I'm always happy with the service. The massage is so good and the best part is that my nails really stay in good shape forever. I do the dip manicure and gel pedicure. read more

I've been here probably 10 times at most in the last year and a half. I've made an appointment maybe only once. Usually I just call before coming to see if they have availability when I'm planning on coming, and they're almost always able to accommodate my late appointments. The staff mostly still wear masks, and the salon is very clean. I spent $70 in cash with tip for a regular pedicure and gel mani ($28 each). They use hot stones to massage your legs and feet and give you a brief shoulder massage during the mani. They are good with scheduling so I've literally never waited when I've come (remember, I always call ahead to make sure they can accommodate instead of truly walking in). There are a few nail places closer to my house, but I find myself coming here because they do a great job, and everything lasts for a long time! read more

Went there a month ago and disappointed in my mani-pedi and contracted a nasty nail fungus. The manicure was sloppy and clumpy. The manicurist was rough and began cutting my cuticles even though I asked her not to because of the risk of infection. I requested the manicure be done again and the manicurist began arguing with the manager who blamed my polish. She poured acetone into my new bottle of Jin Soon polish, without asking permission and proceeded to polish my nails, ruining the polish. The manager pouted and muttered throughout the redo. Two weeks later, every nail is infected with fungus. Apparently they have sloppy sterilization practices. I literally paid for a poor job and nail fungus. Never again. read more

I have gone here a few times and had a decent enough experience - but after today I will not go back. The manicurist was so rough on my cuticles that it was painful and she made two of my fingers bleed. She did not seem particularly alarmed nor did she apologize after it happened. I am worried about getting an infection and feel very concerned as I'm reading recent reviews with similar experiences. Seems like this business is going downhill. read more

I needed a study break so I walked in on a Sunday. It was busy but there was no wait which is a huge plus. I got a regular pedi and added a massage for $10, which was very enjoyable. The tech did a great job and didn't cut my nails too short. I was so comfy in the massage chair I didn't realize when my polish was done. You also get a shoulder massage at the nail dryer. A+ service. I hadn't been in a nail salon since 2020 but I had such a great experience here I might make this a more regular thing! Possibly the worst manicure I've ever received. Nail tech did not ask me what shape I wanted my nails but even so the "square" shape she did had several lopsided and poorly shaped nails. One I corrected during the service and several I didn't catch until after. The paint job was sloppy and chipped, bubbled, and cracked in less than 24 hours. ive been here 3 times and really tried to give this place a chance, but it isn't the type of service id ever return to. the first time i visited, i brought my mom and she requested a thin, soft tip, almond nail shape. as a result, she got an extremely thick layered nail, that had the shape of a round body with a SHARP tip like-stiletto nail, this also occurred the second time i visited on my sister. my nails were just fine, but after a few weeks when my nails started to come off (which is normal) it had left an INDENT in MULTIPLE of my natural nails even though i never forced them off, i don't know if a dark red scar on my nail is normal but it has NEVER happened to me at any other salon. so overall it was an unpleasant experience- especially after the nail staff seemed very adamant and very unprofessional over doing my nails- mind you, i asked only for a simple coffin shape, with one color, and a few stickers. i wasn't sure if it was because i seemed more younger at the time and they probably presumed i wasn't to be taken seriously, but to basically sit me in their chair and act like i was an inconvenience made me not want to tip them (i still did) i would not return again!! read more

I just paid $45 for a spa pedicure. This is second time that they have forced me to put on my shoes and leave after only 15 minutes at the dryer. Now my pedicure is smudged before my event tomorrow. I'm usually not someone that leaves reviews but my last visit here was the most painful manicure I've ever had. I've had other manicures here that were great which is why I'm not leaving one star only. I came in for a walk-in dip manicure and at first it seemed like they wouldn't be able to take me (totally fine, as a walk-in you take a chance that'll happen) but I guess someone decided they could squeeze me in? I wish they hadn't. I had a tech that I'd never had before (dyed blonde hair, wearing a hat) and she was SO ROUGH. Yanking and twisting my fingers, using the DRILL to cut my cuticles, literally ripping at my dry cuticles with the nippers, getting way too close to my cuticles when filing (seriously, my poor cuticles). She also appeared to use a gel top coat for the dip application rather than whatever the appropriate dip product would be, since my nails were shiny after each coat of powder, which I've never seen before??? Instead of being more careful with application, she used the nippers on my skin to remove any excess top coat (once again, my poor cuticles). Overall, it was an awful experience, my fingers are sore, even the ones without visible cuts, and I won't be back. That said, the dip manicures I've gotten from other techs have been fine, but whenever I got gel it chipped by the next day. Based off of other reviews, this particular tech is frequently rough and careless. I had some good visits there before, but unfortunately sometimes all it takes is one poor experience. read more

Hit or miss. I'm all for being efficient, but being rushed to the point of not actually shaping nails is a shame. When I asked the employee to shape my nails for she started just cutting the sides instead of filing a shape. This is the second time this has happened, it's close to my home so I'm wanted to give t a second try, but I will not come back for a manicure (of any kind). She also left old nail polish on my nails. I think this is rude too, my thumb nail got tapped when I was going under the dryer and I asked her to redo that one nail, she said no and painted a third coat over it, it looks lumpy. I live in the neighborhood and have been eyeing this place up on yelp given the high stars for almost a year. I finally gave this place a try and was so disappointed. From the very beginning the woman doing my nails was SO rough just even cutting my nails. Once we got to cutting the cuticles I had to have her stop because I was bleeding from a cut. I politely asked to just end the service because it was the least relaxing and most painful pedicures I've ever had. I still had to pay for the full service which at that point I didn't care I just wanted to get out of there to clean my cut! Pros: AMAZING selection of colors for gel and dip, reasonable and affordable prices, employees are well trained and typically do an exceptional job with nails Cons: customer service is fairly awful DEPENDING on who you does your nails/toes. I've had one artist do my nails (dip powder, one color) and they lasted 8 weeks. Most recently I had another girl who did the exact same color and she absolutely destroyed my cuticles, bleeding and everything (picture attached). After 1 week they have started chipping. I've also had some extremely rude artists (rushed me when I was the only one in the salon and I ended up picking a color I didn't even like, tipped her $10 and she looked at it and didn't say a word even after I said thank you and goodbye she didn't look up at me). read more

She's very nice and gentle and really listens to me in terms of color and design. she will always give me her opinions on polish and she's always right ! The service is great and everyone is very friendly. They do accept walk-ins, but I highly recommend making an appointment because it gets busy after work and you will probably have to wait a while to be helped if you don't have an appointment.
