Le Sens is what Americans might call a "hole in the wall" or a "hidden gem," except here, it's packed -- definitely make a reservation online if you're planning to come during dinner hours. We got lucky and snagged a table without one. The restaurant is tucked just off the main street and feels like it's down a little alley. Inside, it's extremely cozy and welcoming, run by a husband and wife team who clearly put a lot of care into everything. Everything we ordered was fantastic: the French onion soup, the prawn noodles, and the duck confit -- which was absolutely insane! The kitchen is small, so things might take a few extra minutes, but trust me, it's worth the wait. We were too full to try dessert (a real regret), but the ribeye at the table next to us looked incredible too -- just something to keep in mind for next time. Highly recommend for a relaxed, authentic, and delicious meal in Paris.

We landed in Paris and we found this hidden gem! Which what multiple reviews mentioned. We had a party of 6 and we came without a reservation but the staff accommodated us and found a great table inside. It seems that this place gets busy. Even though we didn't speak any French the waitress was so kind and was extremely hospitable. We were tired and grumpy but she made our dinner welcoming. We could tell that all the food had heart and thought in each dish. We had the Camembert with Honey appetizer that was so flavorful and savory. The charcuterie board was thinly sliced and made to perfection. The Canard (duck) entree was the best dish I had in Paris hands down. The scalloped potatoes that accompanied was perfection. You must try this place! You won't be disappointed.

Make reservations if you want to sit at a table. Otherwise, you will be seated at the bar. No matter where you sit the vibe, food, and drinks are perfect. We had the classic dishes, the duck confit skin was crispy and the meat so juicy and flavorful. The escargot cooked and bathed in a delicious garlic butter was heavenly. The onion soup was loaded with bread and cheese and hit all the right notes on that wet chilly day. I had the steak special cooked to a medium rare, though some parts were tough, the flavors were delicious The richness and depth of flavors mixed with different textures was pure joy. The staff were pleasant and made us feel warm and welcomed. Le sens unique is a delightful and indulgent culinary experience that is not to be missed. The wine and beer selection is pretty magnifique as well.

We made a reservation last minute and excited to try this place. The ambiance was cozy and welcoming. The service was laid back but attentive. Server told us about their specials today. We ordered spritz, Pellegrino, onion soups, mussels casserole, shrimp pasta, vanilla crème brûlée and a slice of cake. For mussels casserole, I thought it was pesto sauce but tasted Indian curry and it's delicious. Shrimp pasta and crème brûlée were wonderful too. Overall, we had great experience.

We love this restaurant. We visit every time we're in Paris. Amazing duck, great specials, and perfect service. I highly recommend making a reservation in advance.

Empty food plate and great place.

Just the best food we have had so far in Paris. Amazing service, ambiance and delicious food. Make a reservation.

Loved the fun wallpaper behind our row of tables.

This was a favorite restaurant on our recent visit to Paris. Friendly staff, nice wine list, and creative, authentic fare with incredible flavor. We had roasted Camembert cheese and baguette, seared duck with honey sauce, and filet of sea bass. All wonderful. It has a fun, but tight interior, so be prepared to become friends with your neighbor. And definitely make a reservation. We're not the only ones who loved it!

The food was amazing!!! I really loved all the dishes. The steak was cooked to perfection, although it was definitely pricey for the amount given. My fiancé and I mostly enjoyed the duck page: Rillettes d'Oie à partager. The portion size of this was more than expected, but we loved every bit. The ambiance is very cozy and comfortable. Followed by that, the service was also charming. We came for dinner and were promptly seated without reservations. We were actually going to order more than we did, but the waiter asked us if we were sure! We really appreciate that. There are so many restaurants to explore, but I would definitely recommend giving Le Sens Unique a taste!

Steak & Duck entrees from Daily Special

If you visit no other restaurant in Paris, make this the one place you go!! Hands down the best French cuisine you'll have in Paris. I stumbled upon this restaurant because I didn't have a reservation for dinner and wanted to eat somewhere near my hotel. They gladly took us and we grabbed seats at the bar. For entrees, we grabbed the steak & potatoes and duck from the daily special menu. Then for dessert we got the crème brûlée. I'm still dreaming about this entire meal, it was insane! So good!! Once you come here, thank me later!

Came here looking for steak based off review. After a long day of sightseeing nearby we went here to unWine ;) The service was nice, but the server was a one man army. So it took awhile to take our order while he was helping other guest or running food. It a small space so for the most part it works out with one person. I had the angus and fries. And strong red wine. My guest weren't into the more rare steak like I am, but the ribeye was cooked perfectly. The fries were addicting. The table bread was from earlier in the day, so had to really chew. I feel like I might be giving them a good review based off how kind the service was. And about 75 percent of the meal I'd say was good. So if you're in the area, I would recommend a try. They have many specials. Would not recommend for like the essential Paris experience . I would for casual dinner for one of the many nights tour visiting Paris. Overall a 3.9 out of 5 Hope to try the Salmon next time.

We walked in here looking for dinner on our last night during our trip to Paris. This little restaurant is located on a side street that you probably wouldn't venture out to but we found this on yelp and saw great reviews. The restaurant was busy and the dishes tasted great. We were seated at the bar which wasn't that comfortable but we we managed since we didn't have any reservations. Luckily we were seated - turns out they turn most people down if you didn't have any reservations. The food was good but definitely priced higher than other restaurants that would serve similar dishes, probably because it is located in a tourist central area in Champs-Élysées. I would probably not come back even though the food was great, but I think you can find other restaurants a little further out from Champs-Élysées and get the same meal for a portion of the cost. Definitely good for last minute dinner plans if you're in the area!

Decided to spontaneously eat at a local restaurant on the last day of our week long stay in Paris and ended up here with no reservations. They took us in right away (2 people) and we were seated at the bar. We ordered the onion soup for starter and duck confit for entree and the duck confit was absolutely amazing. We got the crème brûlée for dessert. Turned out to be one of our best meals in Paris (even better than some restaurants that was popular and with hard reservations). It's definitely a smaller restaurant with not too many tables so if you have a larger group do make a reservation first! Our waiter was very friendly and spoke really good English. The only con I had was pricing. It is definitely overpriced but this restaurant is also located in a very touristy area.

We didn't have reservations but we had a late lunch past the busy time so getting a table was no problem. While the daily specials looked good, we opted for the steak tartare and the duck confit. Both were just delicious. I loved the crispy duck skin and just scraped off any fat that I didn't want to eat. The potatoes were amazing and the little bit of spring greens had a light mustard dressing. The steak tartare was probably one of the best ones that I've tasted. The menu was written in French on the chalkboard and you can scan an English menu. The servers were bilingual so it will be easy to find and order something that you will enjoy.

Violently throwing up after the visit to this restaurant. We suspect mussels, and cannot recommend this place.
