    Fried frog legs

Wife and I were walking the neighborhood and came across this restaurant and orderer frog legs, escargot and Japanese chicken. My wife also had a margarita and for her it was best she had in long time. Service is very friendly and very classy inside.

Everything was wonderful for two American women who don't speak any French. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The employees were friendly. They were helpful. The food was amazing! A must next time I am back in Paris.

PHENOMENAL! The food was incredible from start to finish with absolutely nothing lacking in flavor or portion! The drinks were great, the service was lovely, and the atmosphere was by far the most coziest during my stay in France. 10/10 experience, I would recommend everyone to come eat here at least once and order their Pan-sauted mushrooms & poached egg.

    Salmon tar tar. Excellent!

Great choice of a restaurant. We came here before the Moulin Rouge show and were in for a treat. We ordered the Salmon Tar Tar, the cheese platter and the steak and fried dish. It was incredible. All of it. The salmon was fresh, the cheese and bread was phenomenal and the steak and fried were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and our waiter spoke English and very helpful. Great spot indeed. Ordered the warm chocolate cake for dessert. That too was delish to seal a memorable evening. We sat outdoors and the inside looked inviting as well.

Got into Paris hungry and looking to try steak and frites for lunch. Staying near Moulin Rogue, happened upon a good review of this restaurant. It did not disappoint. Service was good, food was awesome. The sauce with the steak was so good, a bit of kale accompanied and was so good. Hubby ordered the plat du jour, which was fried fish of some with mango veggie mix and it was very good as well! Highly recommend.

Food and desserts are evil here, every bite is worth it. Decor is nice and welcoming and superb service.

Great pork belly with mashed potatoes. Snail was okay. Wine and peanut paired well. Service was great and would come back again.

I wanted to taste authentic French Onion soup before leaving this beautiful country and we could not have selected a better place. The soup was, of course, the most delicious onion soup I have ever tasted and the duck breast and green beans which followed were equally amazing. My husband ordered the egg and duck confit appetizer which we were initially puzzled as to what to expect but it was DELISH! As was the duck Shepherd's Pie! To top off the wonderful food was the friendly, gracious service through which it was provided. These two gentleman made our final evening the best. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

These smaller bistro type eateries are the lifeblood of the local cuisine. They consistently offer reasonably priced dishes that are full of flavor and technique. The wine and drink options are well catered to the menu and they provide options for most price points. The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

We were so looking forward to the frog legs, onion soup and other delicacies pictured. We got there and the sign was just as it was with the same name -- Au Pied du Sacre Coeur. We should've noticed something was wrong when no one was inside. When the waiter (lone person working along with cook) gave us the menu, my wife and I stared at each other completely confused. The menu looked nothing like the ones on this website and featured Italian food items, like spaghetti, arroz con pollo or mozarella. I asked him about frog legs or the onion soup. He looked confused and just said no. Out of respect for him, we just ordered the charcuterie, which featured stale bread and a few slices of meat taken from my local grocery store in the U.S. Also -- they claimed to not accept any international credit cards. WHAT HAPPENED? Are all these reviews fake? Most likely, they underwent new ownership right when we visited. But new visitors -- please beware. Do not trust any of the reviews before mine. If I was mistaken, please post photos and just tell me that I was part of some elaborate joke to ruin a lunch for me and my wife.

Generous servings of seafood in the bouillabaisse, and I have no qualms whatsoever with my cuise de grenouille and foie gras salads. Bread kept us alive. The free Cote du Rhône glass was appreciated for check-in! Our server had his head permanently at a 30 degree angle, staring at his mobile. Tis a shame. But he was friendly ( oh, and easy on the eyes). I liked the quiet location out of the chaotic fray, like up the street, with all its smoking and volume. PS This is lover's type of location. Even the dark end of the small street feels illicit!
