After 2 days I can step properly, use any shoes and it seems she removed all ingrown nails and skin (hard skin/ old skin/ etc) from under my toes. they feel great! the facility is clean and small. 115 seems heavy for a pedicure. I would pay 200 to have her do this again anytime. its worth not having the pain and clean feet. do it- She is like a Brazilian Podiatrist- except here in NYC they are impossible to find. I received the medical pedicure at this location today. I hadn't had a pedicure in over 2 months and my feet were very calloused and I had painful ingrown toenails. She removed all of the dry, flaky, calloused skin from my feet as well as the ingrown toenails. They LOOK and FEEL SO much better. I went in for a medical spa pedicure & I have to say it wasn't worth the money that I paid. I had gel on my feet when I first went in , she never mentioned to me that it would be an extra charge for her to take off the gel she tried to tell me after the pedicure she didn't charge me for it as if it was a favor. Also she came out with a bucket with water in it for me to put my feet in , didn't really fix the issue I went in there with . Also sold me on her keratin socks which I believe should already be part of the process being that you're paying so much for a mediocre pedicure . Unfortunately this is not a good review. It was the most disappointing pedicure I've ever had! I wouldn't even give it one star. I booked a medical pedicure to give my feet some love after the winter and to get it ready for summer. For the most part I have smooth feet (just a few callouses) and a couple concerns with my two big toe nails. For starters, the pedicure arrangement was in a regular chair (office-like chair) and they had me soak my feet inside a plastic pedicure (no frills) soaking bin (same as the ones you can purchase at a local pharmacy or Amazon, but with no heat/bubbles/vibration settings). Quite frankly, it was a basic and super uncomfortable set up! This "medical pedicure" came out to $147.00 (they only accepted cash) plus tip, and took a total 40min from start to finish. I had decided to bring my laptop with me to get some work done (there was no wifi so had to use my phones mobile hotspot) and at one point took a work call for about 5 min. During this time she began the pedicure and had me soak my feet. She didn't apply a scrub but she did use a foot razor file, and after patting my feet dry she very quickly applied some kind of an oil substance before applying the color. A couple of times I had even questioned the nail tech as to whether she had actually applied the oil to the other leg and foot, and also questioned if she applied two coats of the paint color. She of course replied that she had and so I commented that I must've not been paying attention as I was into my work. Of course, I am still convinced that she skipped some of those steps. Oh, and it did not it did not conclude with a massage like it was advertised, zero pampering. My feet don't look like they had a pedicure, let alone a medical grade-like pedicure. Even the way the color was applied it looks a bit messy. Could've just done a traditional pedicure at home myself or gone to any other nail salon and spent significantly less money while still having a better experience. I had researched this service online and unfortunately the one location I had seen many great reviews on was booked solid until mid July so instead this location popped up in my search and noticed the location was closer to me so I called to book the service and the woman who answered (I believe it was the owner/same person who did my pedicure) had confirmed they had availability within a couple of days so I booked it. I don't know anything about the other services this business provides but I most definitely won't ever recommend this service. And don't ever plan to return to this establishment, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. The only positive is that the nail technician (I believe it was also the owner) was nice and gave me a pro tip to apply tea tree oil and oregano oil on my big toe nails. Needless to say this was an extremely disappointing experience and not at all what I had expected from its advertisement. A complete rip off! read more

Needless to say, I've found the perfect place! During my first visit, I got microdermabrasion (my skin was extremely dry, pores were clogged, etc.) along with some products to ensure proper care. First of all, IT'S NOT A MEDICAL PEDICURE!!! it's a regular pedicure with water and razer, well, little bit better quality but still super overpriced for the regular pedicure. She doesn't even has a chair for the pedicure and did her job on her knees. Manicure is even worse. You can have the same quality manicure that lasts much longer for a lot less money. I've paid over 50$ for the regular manicure! and it was looking terrible after couple of days. My friend did shellac same day for 25$ and she still has it. Terrible overrated and overpriced place! During my hunt for the best pedicures in Manhattan I come across this"medical pedicure". The mediocre pedicure was $115.00 then she tacked on $25.00 for a moisture wrap that was plastic and was given to me for free at my last salon. I feel ripped off. The place is very old and clearly needs money put back into it. It could have the potential to make money but.... not in the near future. Shame on charging those prices. I've been going to Le Salon for pedicures with Marina for at least 10 years. Her "medical" pedicure has helped me with severe toenail issues which most pedicurists do not or cannot address. Marina is very knowledgeable - medical pedicures are rare to find in NYC and much better than any regular pedicure you will get. However, I'm very uncomfortable when I don't see a nail technician removing tools from a sealed plastic bag (which signals tools have been sterilized and not re-used). Given its nature and tools required, a medical pedicure requires impeccable hygiene standards and technicians should be 100% upfront about that - old customers may trust the Salon's practices, but they need to talk about their practices with new ones. But half of the relaxation of a good pedicure comes from the type of chair and they have not one pedicure chair, rather an uncomfortable chair on wheels. And in the Summer it's blazing hot in there. Following yelp' recommendation, I came to this salon for the medical pedicure. The space is small but intimate and comfortable. It is super clean and the service is great. I didn't feel queasy about any of the tools used or uncomfortable about sanitation and hygiene. Marina was really nice and did a great job. She is very thorough. Although the Le Salon a bit on expensive side than your typical walk-in nail salon, it's totally worth the few dollars extra if you're looking for quality and an experience. I am pretty picky about my pedicure and I have no real complaints about this place. Marina takes her time with you no matter how difficult your feet are, and is impeccably skillful. I've been to this place only 3 times but my feet already look incredibly well - no dry skin or painful ingrown toenails even after 4-5 weeks after the pedicure!
