I had to get the mani/pedi for the wedding event & decided to get it done after getting my eyebrows threaded in the thread salon in the same space in the airy, clean, spacious room located on the 2nd floor with off the 3rd Avenue. Hannah , the bail technician who took care of me suggested a " callous removal pedicure " @ $50.00 after looking at Mr feet. Unconvinced if she could remove the chronic callous but decided to give a try. OH MY! After multiple different treatments, I saw my feet become silky & smooth, with my toenails neatly & beautifully painted while I was being dozed on & off , my finger nails were perfectly manicured. From that moment on, Hannah would be my regular nail technician , I decided, sorry to divorce to my regular nail technician of five years, lol. I will try their enticing massages along with my regular mani/pedi routine with Hannah. What a hidden gem in Midtown! I love that because some nail salon do not do that so finding one that does makes me feel so safe with my nail health! I did get a regular manicure, I understand that I don't expect them to last long but two days is very short. But it was a very clean salon. Nice layout where there is a nail section and hair section. I only went there for two reasons first reason being was that they're in my neighborhood plus they claim to be organic well let me begin by saying I could have done a better job with my ped egg the manicurist not the owner but one of her assistants that day it was only the owner and another manicurist. She was a racist when I told her that the water was cold she looked at me like who cares and then she made it too hot my feet felt bad for a couple of days after my visit she scrubbed the bottom of my feet like she was scrubbing the floor!! my toes nails were in bad shape so its refresh nails to the rescuse and i aint embarrassed by visiting a nail salon anymore . got a nice tune up on my hands and feet and what for the full monty by getting a foot and neck massage which was really needed .clean place , friendly staff who know how to do nails like the pros, top of the line nail salon equipment and its not really expensive especially for a place on midtown manhattan. i was here almost an hour and it went really fast . my hands and toe nails are back to normal and my neck and feet feel wonderful .its nice to pamper yourself on occasion . read more

Yes this place uses disposable covers to do the pedicures and they use pre-packaged lotions to scrub your calves however the fact that I was told while drying that they were charging me $5 extra for applying a plain polish was behind absurd. I just asked for one coat so I can get back to the office sooner. They had Essie and some no name polishes on the same rack. The Pedicurist said she 'forgot to mention it' but that I picked a long wear polish. At first I thought that she was trying to sell me the polish then just quickly dismissed it and said 'okay'-- I'm not a stickler for $ but SERIOUSLY charging extra for a simple polish application? I asked what time they closed and was told 9 pm "but maybe 8 pm tonight because it's not busy." My gel nails came out good and still look nice three days later. (When I asked how long the gel should last I was told two weeks which is pretty standard.) she did say if for any reason it didn't last or any problems to come back and they would fix it. She was thorough and it felt like I was there for a long time. Offered massage and turned it down but wish I hadn't because the girl next to me got her ten minutes worth as the masseuse continued to massage her after the timer went off. Great experience - I called around 9PM asking if could come in for a mani-pedi and they said ok (despite closing in one hour). I showed up and waited ten minutes. Was treated to a no-fuss pedi along with a nice massage. Service wise - def the best in the area as far as I am concerned. I got the gel polish manicure - unfortunately within 6 days two of my nails had chipped. 8 days after they were looking pretty bad. For the pricing for a gel polish manicure (their prices are higher), one would expect that gel polish manicure would last at least two weeks. I paid more for gel for the longer lasting manicure. I will give this salon another try and update my review accordingly because I really want to like this salon as my visit was pleasant - but I'm not willing to pay extra for gel polish that doesn't last a week. read more

I walked to the hotel nail salon and it was crowded so I walked across the street and found Refresh nails... went upstairs and found Grace!!!!
