Tuna. Smelled quite fishy and did not taste very fresh. Could not finish because I wasn't sure if it went bad.

Service was very friendly and my kids enjoyed their escargot. However, the rest of the food was not so good. Especially their steak- quite awful actually. Tasted burnt on the outside. Even though this place was on the same street as where we stayed for 8 days we only went once and never returned because the food was just plain bad. However, it was one of the rare places that was open during the off hours between lunch and dinner and in august where many restaurants took off for vacation.

Had evening dessert and cappuccino at this central corner cafe with my daughter and grandson and absolutely loved it! Service was great. I ended up ordering a Chicken Wok meal to go, which was absolutely delicious!

Onion Soup - Salty and grossly disappointing.

A french bistro with mediocre service and mediocre food. We are staying nearby and saw the photos and thought we'd try it. The food photos on Trip Advisor look nothing like what we ordered and were served or saw going by us to others. The food was salty and not very flavorful. Maybe I can sum it up this way - the mustard and ketchup packets (yes packets) were Heinz. The wine pour was shorted, and it wasn't very good. It's Paris and there is no excuse. Finally, given the gratuity is included in the pricing already the served tried to shake me down at the end for an extra gratuity after screwing up the meal repeatedly. All things equal, as an American, might give something more for good service when received but this didn't earn it and to be shaken down was ridiculous.

A favorite anytime I'm in Paris. Food drinks dessert are all spectacular. I'm a fan of the St Germain Spritz, caffe crème, and crepes,

We stopped here for a night cap almost daily during our Paris trip. It was located next to our Air BnB and offered a Sparkling Rose at a great price. I loved that they brought out olives with our drink order. My husband drank Old Fashions and was very pleased. The atmosphere was great for people watching on a busy corner.

Heading to the Musee d'Orsay and looking for a place for a late lunch. Le Saint Germain was right across the street from the metro stop and it was the first place we saw. We secured seating outside on the patio...lunch on a patio in Paris...perfect. There were three in our group and we opted for the chicken caesar salad and also the steak. The food was quite good though a little on the expensive side. The service was the best we have had on our Paris visit and that gave it the 4 star. While it was a positive food experience and I am happy to recommend Le Saint Germain when in the 7th district, I am not sure why the place was full of persons from North America...is it listed in some guidebook?

Service was impeccable and the food even more so. Great prices and definitely get the escargot!

This service here was good and has the potential to be great had our server not been such a social butterfly lol. We tried Escargot for the first time. Once you get passed the thought of what you're eating, it was actually very good. So we had Escargot, 2 desserts and 2 glasses of wine for $45 Euros. This was a great way to end the night. I would definitely recommend this place!

Not sure where to begin here. We were in Paris for 3 days and two nights. The location of this place is prime. On a busy corner of Rue de Bac, it's easy to find and close to plenty of shopping and a metro stop away from anything that you may need/landmark you want to explore. You can tell that the servers take pride in their work as they were attentive to our needs and went out of their way to provide us with menus in English. The food was excellent and my favorite in a week's long trip to Europe. If you eat here, you have to try the steak with onions. It's a quality piece of meat with a mouthful of flavor and the option of caramelized onions is on point especially considering I don't even like caramelized onions. Their soups are hearty and savory. Their deserts are varied and have a little something for everyone. I was partial to the Nutella crepes. I will definitely be back here next time I am in France.

Stopped for a quick little coffee and had a fine time sitting out on the patio. Service was adequate... the waiter I think was not super happy to have us there but he served us nonetheless. At the end I gave a 10 Euro bill and he curtly informed me that we owed 11 Euros. It was a bit annoying but I think it was just... French. At any rate, it was a fine place to make a quick stop and certainly a lovely picturesque French cafe.

It was alright for a quick bite. We got French onion soup that was pretty good. It was very cheesy and flavorful. We split a side of fries that were pretty cold and not salted. The restaurant is nice if you can't find something better, it wasn't outrageously expensive. We were able to sit outside and the service was pretty decent.

Start with the french onion soup and thank me later. The soup had a wonderful flavor and plenty of cheese (the real reason we all order this). We got a burger and the croque-madame and both very delicious. The croque-madame was two wonderfully toasted pieces of bread with a slice of ham between them and tons of melty cheese on top. I substituted fries for the salad it typically comes with. Both entrees were delicious. The wait staff was very friendly and answered our questions, they do have an english menu available which was a big bonus. Overall we had a very good meal and a good experience.

One of the few places open till 1:00 am rather than midnight as most. Great for jet-lagged Americans :-). Great service, good draft selection for non-wine drinkers. Food was pretty decent, and I'd give them all 5 stars, but food is not quite there yet. Eggs were overcooked and bland and breads accompanying foie gras and cheese board was not what you'd expect from Paris (toasted wonder bread type)

The escargot was surprisingly good taste like pesto which goes great with the bread.
