I've frequented this place for years, but mostly for their spring rolls, however, lately I've been ordering their #3 chicken sandwich, to which I always add avocado. I believe the chicken is marinated in teriyaki sauce, but thin slices of fresh jalapeño balance the sweetness nicely. Additionally, their bbq pork buns have a generous helping of meat compared to other places. The baby egg rolls make a nice appetizer, and their smoothies with the little pearls are good too. When my brother suggested we eat here I was a little skeptical due to the location but once inside I was surprised and pleased with how clean and organized the store,eating area, counter, and what we can view of the kitchen. Let me say the food is well priced and tastes amazing. The freshness of the chopped vegetables and cut up jalapeños along with the meat in the sandwich, in my case it was the bbq pork since I ordered the #4, blends perfectly. The bread also seems as if it is made in house so that's definitely a plus, it's flaky and crunchy and luckily does not overpower the flavors coming from the meat and vegetables! We almost passed this place by because it is literally in the middle of nowhere. A tiny hole in the wall that sits between a junky alley and a gas station. Parking is a small lot in the back. Once you enter, there is a small selection of Asian goodies to your right. We ordered the baby egg rolls, custard bun, jackfruit smoothie, and four banh mis: pork belly, chicken, nem nuong and the special. We snacked on the eggrolls and custard buns in the car, which we thought were pretty good. When we got home, we were pretty disappointed with dinner. The size of these banh mis are about half of what you would expect of a typical banh mi. They were not filled at all either. In the pictures, we thought they would be exploding with the veggie filling, nope. Flat and sad. The nem nuong and the grilled chicken were the best ones. The special was okay. Just forget about the pork belly. Do not order the pork belly, whatever you do. It's vile. It's fake. It's disgusting. Tastes like it's from a can, or the sewer. I'm not kidding. This doesn't deserve to be called pork belly. I don't know what the hell it is, but it exited my mouth as soon as it touched my tongue. Gross. I can only recommend ordering the sides at this place. I'm going to stick to getting my banh mis and jackfruit smoothie from Crawfish Noodle on McHenry. read more

I love this place! Great prices, great food and great customer service. Only complaint is parking sucks. But if you want to have a variety of options for a cheap price then check it out. I love the shrimp sandwich and the BBQ chicken sandwich. Veggies always crisp and fresh in my sandwich. This is not a fancy place, but it looks clean and food looks and tastes fresh. There is seating for maybe 18. We had barbecue pork and barbecue chicken sandwiches and noodle soup. Husband said soup was very good but hot (spicy). The sandwiches were good. I was a little disappointed, though, that the barbecued pork was thinly sliced char siu and not grilled pork. The menu does say char siu; my mistaken expectation. The ingredients were fresh. The bread was soft but firm enough to not fall apart. When in the area again, we'll be back to try other dishes! Delicious and authentic Asian food. I never would have stopped there if I hadn't seen it on Yelp. It's a hole in the wall next to a gas station in the rough part of town and you have to park in the ally behind the place. But the food is amazing, Thai tea with boba was delish! Okay so I got the #1 and the pork or whatever ham looking meat was in it was horrific, I couldn't eat it. I got two sides and although the portions were small I only paid a dollar for each.
