Got a deluxe lunch at Le Resto on Monday. And what I mean by that is, the wife and I went at lunch time, but got a couple of REALLY great dinner entrees. She got the Dancing Beef, and it was the best beef and veg dish she had ever had. That's what Linda said, I tried it, and it was tasty. The veg were perfectly par cooked, and the sauce and the veg had a smoky fire taste. Delicious. I got the Japanese Steak. This came with a couple of very lightly dressed side dishes. I was absolutely happy with it. The waiter was great, the interior (see the hundreds of pics people post) of Le Resto is palatial. We were both impressed enough that, going to keep hitting the high end of the menu. All the food at Le Resto is great. But, the higher end items are just a step up, so try these items every once in awhile. You won't regret it at all. read more

This establishment is located in the Downtown area of New Castle, Pennsylvania, within the historic First National Bank building. We decided to try their buffet for Memorial Day, as we were visiting the town. While we have experienced numerous buffets, this particular one offered a rather limited selection of food, and they appeared to struggle with managing the crowd. Frequently, the serving platters were empty. Given that it is typically a sit-down dining establishment, it is possible they underestimated the volume of customers. read more

I have ordered DoorDash from this restaurant since it's opening. The last two deliveries I received were either missing items or delivered warm and tossed (sushi). I tried twice to reorder after terrible experiences, because everything was initially so good, and I wanted to support a local business. Clearly, they no longer care about quality or presentation. Sad. I really wanted to believe that an elevated Asian restaurant experience could exist between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I was WRONG. read more

Hidden gem!!! First time going and the atmosphere and food were amazing!! We ordered way too much food not realizing the portion sizes are very generous. Staff was very friendly and even pointed out that attached to them is a min mart! Unfortunately no food pics as it was so good we inhaled it before even thinking about taking pictures! Best sushi rolls we've ever had. We got a monster roll and a toro jalepeno roll. The flavors and quality of the fish and vegetables, micro greens were so delicious. We go to Mizu and love theirs, this is better by comparison. We are lucky to have this in New Castle. read more

My husband and I enjoyed dinner here and we really enjoyed it. The architecture is stunning, and the ambience of the dining room is lovely. We had the tempura shrimp, the Dancing Beef, and the eel rice bowl. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious but the star of the meal was the beef! Hostess was friendly, server was great. The restaurant was moderately busy but they sat us without a reservation quickly. Kitchen seemed quick too. Can't wait to go back for sushi. Honestly, a gold mine in New Castle. I have tried almost all of their sushi specialty rolls- they are great. Shaggy Dog, American Dragon, and Monster Rolls are 10/10. The Pho is great- authentic. I am hoping to try more of their entrees here soon. We get takeout here often. I love that the restaurant is in the old bank, and that they kept the safe. As someone with a spouse from China and someone who lived in Asia for the better part of the last twenty years in four countries, this place is as close as I have gotten to what I ate living over there. Their portions are huge, the service is great, the meals are what I expect from Vietnam and other SE Asian nations, and while their sushi is a little pricey and small to my standards, it is still very good. Again, as someone who lived in China, Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand, and has been to seven other Asian nations for extended vacation, they nailed it. As close to authentic as one can get without actually being in the countries they represent with their food. Highly recommended. read more
