Recommended! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love this little gem! When you walk in everything is really cozy with a woodsy vibe[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There are interesting and fun pieces all over - like the old barbershop light pole and a giant moose head as you walk in the door.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a really great menu and there were a good handful of gluten free items! We had th cowboy dip as an appetizer (so good), my parents had shrimp and grits (grits were heavenly), I had a 1/2 rack of ribs (delish!). My hubby was the only one not super happy with his steak. Our server was Lisa and she was an absolute hoot! She will take good care of you :)

Sat at the bar, great service and food came out quickly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Enjoyed the dimmer lighting and felt very cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only complaint is that the bathrooms had a bad smell like plumbing issues.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] From out of town but would return if i went back.

Very nice steakhouse tho a bit out of the way for this NYC guy who was working in the New Castle area. Great value for a fine steak. Waiter Will was very attentive (tho not crowded on a very cold Tuesday night). Rustic appearance felt authentic. Most people seemed to be in a festive mood.

I was in Mercer for business travel and stopped at the Iron Bridge Inn due to strong reviews online. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was charming and old-school and there was a great crowd for a Monday night![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Started off with a $2 Yuengling pint, which I found out is an all day every day deal. Loved the seasonal pork chops with cranberry pear relish and cheesy grits and my coworker spoke highly of the pot roast and the seasonal mule to drink. Finished with the homemade peanut butter pie that was an absolute treat. Will be back when in town for future business trips!

Met some friends here on a Saturday and had a great time! I would recommend getting a reservation - it was packed at 7pm! We sat in a booth near the bar and loved looking at all the memorabilia and animals on the wall. Really neat atmosphere! We had a very fun, sweet, energetic waitress - wish I caught her name - she was awesome at recommendations and helped us pick our meals. We got the cowboy dip that was on special and wow, the pitas alone were incredible! My fish and the home made chips were so crispy, the chip dip was INCREDIBLE. We all left with empty plates! Also. Yuengling is $2 all day every day! Definitely recommend!

The delightful Lisa is an amazing server and made what is always a great experience here even better. The Beef on Weck sandwich is our major go to and The Iron Bridge a dedicated stop on our drives between Philadelphia and Detroit. Oh, and save room for the peanut butter pie!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love the atmosphere, warm and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We got here late enough in the dinner service that they were out of a number of things. We settled for the Bavarian pretzels. The dip was warm and cheesy. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli with chicken sausage in brown butter sauce. I didn't expect this presentation. I was expecting the sausage to be stuffed in the ravioli not cut up around the plate. They were heavy on the brown butter sauce. It could've used a little less sauce and a little more non-brown coloring. While the ravioli, sausage and sauce tased very good the one-note color palette of my plate was not appetizing. That being said I would definitely eat here again.

We have been to all of the other restaurants in Restaurant Group. Our travels took us near the Iron Bridge. This was our 1st time here! Food, service & fun decor made our experience wonderful. Prices are good - we left with enough food for another whole meal! In the area, I highly recommend you check them out!

The whole thing was the most unique and best time I have ever experienced dining. The art decor, the music, the dish names, the staff, the pink tree house and frisbee golf outside, the random wu tang clan symbols. This is a memory I will never forget I wouldn't not recommend anything we got The Apps: The brie charcuterie board. That house made strawberry jalapeño jam. I wish they sold it by the jar. Naan bombs. Cajun perfection on the shrimp over the guac and pico with that balsamic glaze. Pork Cheek Tacos. FAT AS FUCK not skimping on filling with the meat. One of the best prepared meats I've ever had and arguably the best taco I've ever had DUCK FUCKING WONTONS. Wonton my ass it was more like a mini empanada but dear fucking lord. Bacon, duck and Swiss cheese stuffed in topped with a FRENCH ONION BROTH GLAZE. I want a party catered with just those. Absolutely stellar THE 32OZ RIBEYES First off $72 for it and it comes with three sides. 0% chance you're getting that from somewhere downtown under $100. AND no way you're getting it this fucking good. COOKED TO PERFECTION. Whatever rub is on that just call it the house crack. It nwas served over a bed of rosemary parm fries. They got soaked in the juices and made it like steroid poutine The side of jalapeño creamed corn. That I think was my second favorite bite there. Holy fucking hell. Desserts Chocolate Cake - Backend richness on the chocolate cake perfect Sweet Potato Pecan Pie - Extra spice on the made me feel like fall was hugging me The Coconut Cream Cheesecake - I want this for my birthday cake until I die Talbot. Currently, this restaurant takes reservations only over the telephone, not online. My husband and I ate one lunch here. The seating hostess and waitress served us promptly and politely. The menu listed foods such as wings, crab cakes, salads, sandwiches, bowls, pierogies, tacos, chicken marsala, and salmon and drinks such as wines, cocktails, mocktails, sakes, and beers. Here are my ratings for what we ate: Duck Wontons - 4.5 stars - Wontons contained bacon, duck, onions, garlic, Swiss cheese, and French onion broth. Very flavorful. Deviled Eggs - 4.5 stars - The deviled eggs were filled with avocado, bacon, and tomato slaw. Shoot the Breeze - 4.5 stars - This entree consisted of a 14-ounce ribeye with chimichurri, pickled red onions, potato gnocchi, and garlic alfredo. The ribeye was juicy. The gnocchi were nicely cooked. Chicken and Ribs - 4.5 stars - My husband ate this special of chicken breast, St. Louis ribs, potatoes, and corn on the cob. He said that the grilling gave a better taste and that he enjoyed the Korean BBQ sauce. You're Doing Great - 4.5 stars - This mocktail contained non-alcholic orange aperitivo, lemonade, cherry, cucumber, and soda. The total price for these five menu items plus a soda and tax was $110, plus a tip. After our meal, my husband and I explored the outside. The waitress said that the Yeti father is named Osirus, the mother is Sasha, and they have two children. We also saw a treehouse, teepee, picnic tables, games, and woods.

I don't give a low score for atmosphere unless it's dirty. The restaurant wasn't dirty looking, so I'm okay with that. The waitress was very attentive and friendly. I didn't need to ask for a thing. So that was nice. So why the low score? The food. I had biscuits and gravy, two eggs and hash browns. Not sure what was going on with the biscuits. I guarantee you that they are not homemade. They tasted more like bread. Nasty! Gravy was flavorless, with specks of sausage. Again, the gravy tasted like it was out of a can. Eggs (over easy) were cooked perfectly. Then there were the hash browns. They use the patties like you would get at a fast food restaurant. To make homemade biscuits and gravy is so simple and cheaper for the restaurant to make. The hash brown patties is basically saying, "I just don't care." Homemade hash browns are more impressive on a plate and again less expensive to make. It looks like they have no competition when it comes to breakfast. Instead of "calling it in" why not find your passion and cook food people would brag about!?!

Luckily, I went just before the dinner rush on a Saturday and was seated quickly. The menu has a selection of items, including their featured and more popular burgers. You also have the option of building your own burgers, and every table comes with a build-your-own sheet with multiple choices for customizing your burger. I ordered the 'Range Roaming Bison Burger' with bacon cooked to medium well, as you have a choice on how you want your patty cooked. I also ordered a side of their monstrous, massive onion rings that they are also known for. The food came out quickly, and my burger was cooked as I ordered it. The Onons rings were very crispy on the outside and were still hot inside as I got to the inside of them. They also have salads, soups, chilli, featured sandwiches, and apps on the menu. There is a beer menu that has standard and craft beer selections. The Blackout is a very popular spot for beers, burgers, sandwiches and accommodates people of all ages. Overall, a great experience, with good food and good service, and a place I would want to try again.

I started with a bowl of their soup, which had ground beef and cheese and was almost like a chilli. Next up, I tried one of their specialties, the Burning Mussels, made with bacon, peppers, and tomatoes in a garlic-butter and white-wine broth, topped with Asiago and parmesan cheeses and served with garlic toast. The mussels were fresher than I thought they would be, and there is enough broth and ingredients, making the dish very hearty and filling. I finished with the Lamb Lollipops, a trio of three grilled chops, served on a bed of risotto. The lamb was cooked medium-rare like I ordered it and was seasoned just right. The food and ambiance were great, and the servers were friendly, and I had a great meal. The dishes combined made quite a meal and were more than enough for one person. On my next visit, I'll definitely try an entree.
