Very nice steakhouse tho a bit out of the way for this NYC guy who was working in the New Castle area. Great value for a fine steak. Waiter Will was very attentive (tho not crowded on a very cold Tuesday night). Rustic appearance felt authentic. Most people seemed to be in a festive mood.

Sat at the bar, great service and food came out quickly. Enjoyed the dimmer lighting and felt very cozy. Only complaint is that the bathrooms had a bad smell like plumbing issues. From out of town but would return if i went back.

The delightful Lisa is an amazing server and made what is always a great experience here even better. The Beef on Weck sandwich is our major go to and The Iron Bridge a dedicated stop on our drives between Philadelphia and Detroit. Oh, and save room for the peanut butter pie!! Love the atmosphere, warm and welcoming.

Met some friends here on a Saturday and had a great time! I would recommend getting a reservation - it was packed at 7pm! We sat in a booth near the bar and loved looking at all the memorabilia and animals on the wall. Really neat atmosphere! We had a very fun, sweet, energetic waitress - wish I caught her name - she was awesome at recommendations and helped us pick our meals. We got the cowboy dip that was on special and wow, the pitas alone were incredible! My fish and the home made chips were so crispy, the chip dip was INCREDIBLE. We all left with empty plates! Also. Yuengling is $2 all day every day! Definitely recommend!

We got here late enough in the dinner service that they were out of a number of things. We settled for the Bavarian pretzels. The dip was warm and cheesy. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli with chicken sausage in brown butter sauce. I didn't expect this presentation. I was expecting the sausage to be stuffed in the ravioli not cut up around the plate. They were heavy on the brown butter sauce. It could've used a little less sauce and a little more non-brown coloring. While the ravioli, sausage and sauce tased very good the one-note color palette of my plate was not appetizing. That being said I would definitely eat here again.

We have been to all of the other restaurants in Restaurant Group. Our travels took us near the Iron Bridge. This was our 1st time here! Food, service & fun decor made our experience wonderful. Prices are good - we left with enough food for another whole meal! In the area, I highly recommend you check them out!

Our waitress was amazing; even though we made a last minute decision and got here just before closing; she was still over the top with service The atmosphere is amazing & from looks and smells the good will be too

I was in Mercer for business travel and stopped at the Iron Bridge Inn due to strong reviews online. The decor was charming and old-school and there was a great crowd for a Monday night! Started off with a $2 Yuengling pint, which I found out is an all day every day deal. Loved the seasonal pork chops with cranberry pear relish and cheesy grits and my coworker spoke highly of the pot roast and the seasonal mule to drink. Finished with the homemade peanut butter pie that was an absolute treat. Will be back when in town for future business trips!

Can be a little bit "country" in their clientele. Food is solid. Menu is what any older western pa restaurant might have.

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION FROM START TO FINISH 10/10!…read more Perfection. Everything about Talbots is absolute perfection. I eat A LOT of food, and one common denominator I see among top-tier restaurants is that the owners and management are a direct reflection of the overall experience, quality, and taste. Talbots is no different. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, like lifetime friends. Our waitress, Teresa, was fantastic. She passed all the vibe checks and matched our energy immediately, all the signs of a veteran server you want guiding you through one of the best eating experiences of your life. She gave us her recommendations and left us to decide. We knew we were here for the #hashtagyouwont 36oz ribeyes, but we wanted to see what else was recommended since everything looked and sounded amazing. We decided to order a lot of food, almost everything that was recommended. This will be a bit of a long-winded review, but I'm sure the true foodies will appreciate it, so here we go: THE APPETIZERS The Brie: How can brie be so good that it deserves to be talked about first? I have no idea, but it was excellent. The strawberry-jalapeño jam, brie, candied pecans, baby naan, and fruit just worked so well together. An absolute hit. Pork Cheek Tacos: These melted in your mouth and exploded with flavor. They were also a really decent size, we were expecting little bite-sized tacos on a dumpling wrapper, but got two substantial tacos instead which was a pleasant surprise. Naan Bombs: Flat out delicious, and there were enough in the serving for everyone to have a few. Duck Wontons: So unique and flavorful. These were like little empanada explosions of flavor. THE MAIN EVENT: THE 36OZ RIBEYE When I tell you this was a perfect steak, this was a perfect steak. Cooked medium rare, oozing with flavor, and charred to absolute perfection on the outside. That is no easy feat with a cut this size, but somehow Talbot and crew made it seem like a walk in the park. Hidden under the steak, soaking up all the juices, are the house cut fries. I forgot they were even there because of the sheer size of the meat! By the time I discovered them, they were soaked with steak juice, but somehow remained crispy and soggy at the same time. It was brilliant, the fries almost had a poutine like aspect to them. Magnificent, completely unique, and made so much sense. As for the side of corn salad.... absolutely mind blowing. It just looked like corn with some sauce on it, nothing special at all. I am so sorry I underestimated you, Mr. Corn Salad. My God, this stuff was amazing. It didn't make sense to me, but I didn't care, I just kept shoveling it into my mouth. DESSERT We saved room for dessert (of course) and got three: The Chocolate Cake: A plate of pure, chocolaty goodness. Pecan Sweet Potato Pie: Spectacular. Coconut Cream Cheesecake: Wow. I am a sucker for coconut and cream cheese anything, and this checked every single box. THE VERDICT Throughout the night, we watched Talbot go up to each table to check in on everyone, and the chef even came out to talk to us. It was an absolute perfect meal top to bottom, start to finish. You can tell how much this entire establishment cares about what they do, and it is a direct reflection on the food. It's not often I can say a meal is flawless, so I have to give them their flowers in a long well deserved review. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a standing ovation for Talbots Taproom. P.s. Extra kudos for all the cool art and overall atmosphere. There is a ton of stuff to do outside as well but we were there on a chilly night so remained inside. We saw a patio, disc golf, and all sorts of other activities, even a tree house. We can't wait to make the hour trip again and enjoy all they have to offer once summer is in full swing!

Service and the bar was upbeat, friendly and overall excellent from "Good Morning" bartender "P"…read more Drinks were good. Wife had the Always Sunny which she enjoyed. Steak was well seasoned and cooked properly. I had the Asian BBQ, Nobody Likes a Party Pooper. Everything tasted pretty good but was all cool. NOTHING came out hot. Not sure how they try to keep the ribs and pork belly warm but it wasn't working. And not sure why the egg roll and potstickers were cool. Nice relaxed, comfortable atmosphere at the bar.

The kitchen staff was obnoxiously loud, which with an empty dining room was blatantly disruptive. As far as the food, it was okay, the steak had a great flavor and was cooked medium rare just as asked. They gave me a healthy portion of sautéed mushrooms and onions, and the broccolini was lovely. I ordered the Parmesan truffle fries but they lacked any real flavor and, rather, were under-salted. I decided to try an appetizer of cornbread and honey with butter.. but I wish I had skipped it. The cornbread is dry, there is no corn in it (which for me is a negative but some might like that) and the flavor didn't impress me. Overall, it's a very expensive place to eat to not really enjoy your meal. I would suggest if you want a good steak head over to Sammy K's instead.. you'll cut your bill in half and leave satisfied.

Like a massive lucky cat and cherry blossom trees that lit up. Asian dragons on the counter and shelves. They were cute but didnt carry thruout the restaurant and Infouns that kind of confusing. But then there's a massive old photo of George Washington along with an oddly placed refrigerator that has big cuts of meat. There's just so much going on in the lobby that didn't tie together. Tbo, kind of gave me a little anxiety. The service was really nice. Every staff member that I met was welcoming and nice friendly -zero complaints. My food was ready a few minutes after I had arrived. I had ordered a size brussels sprouts and a side of pierogi. Brussels sprouts had the most potential they gave a lot of brussels sprouts, which were cooked perfectly and we're generous with everything they put on top of it... But that's where the problem was... on menu it read, "balsamic drizzled" Hmmm... Drizzled. These are more like brussels sprout balsamic soup. If it wasn't a takeout order, I would've sent them back. Wowzers, were they were swimming in the sauce. It wasn't that the sauce wasn't good. There was just far too much of it. made it un enjoyable. I didn't finish it If I could make a culinary suggestion to the restaurant, I would reword the description and iwn up to they are in a balsamic sauce and not call it a drizzle because there is nothing drizzled about this. I would not have ordered it if I knew it was in a balsamic sauce The pierogi... I was flat out, disappointed by this This says it was pan seared. I'm skeptical about this menu description. These look like they were flash fried. Either in the deep fryer, an air fryer or worse microwaved. I don't cook in the microwave so I really don't know what they would look like in the microwave But I do know what pan sear pierogi (we make homemade ones all the time) look like and these didn't look like that but they definitely did not appear to have any sign of being seared. Rat. They were tough and chewy on the outside with no buttery flavor that a pan seared item would have. I would not order this again. Inside of the pierogi tasted fine and the toppings the bacon and onions were plentiful, flavorful and we're done really nicely So- All I ate fully was the pierogi toppings. So for 43.10 (includes a tip) i had the MOST expensive dinner that consisted of a side of bacon and onions. As that is all that i felt was enjoyable and worth eating.

Lunch meeting at TimberCreek for the win!…read more My date and I spent the holidays at our respective families. We wanted to meet up for lunch and chose TimberCreek as it was about halfway from each other. The venue is built with a ski house or ski lodge style and houses a brewery with the operations underground which can be viewed from the glass floors in the middle. We were promptly seated and greeted. My date has a beer from the brewery and I went with their unsweet iced tea. We went with the TC Dua which consisted of a garlic like risotto with 1 scallop, 4 shrimps and 2 asparagus (see photo). Overall, the dish was acceptable had a good flavor. It would be nice to have another scallop for something like this. We then split a main entree which consisted of the Ahi Tuna (see photo). The dish itself was fine with a good amount of sauteed veggies underneath which made the dish better. All in the all, TimberCreek provided a nice venue with adequate food to enjoy!

I had not been here in a couple years and we only went here because we had tried another restaurant and there was an hour wait. I always liked the ambience inside this restaurant. It's across from the outlet mall & right off of I-79 in Grove City. They have a pretty big menu, and of course they have their own beers on tap & a woodfired oven for pizza. I had a patty melt with fries, which was actually very good, my husband and I split their zucchini plank appetizer, which was thin, sliced breaded, zucchini, and a dipping sauce. My husband got the fish sandwich which was a huge piece of fish and he got green beans instead of french fries and the green beans came in a really big bowl. It was almost enough for three people. It was the biggest side of green beans I had ever seen served with a meal & they were very good ! Our server was very friendly & efficient and she checked back often and she refilled my Diet Coke without asking actually four times! It's a solid choice for lunch or dinner, or just a drink at the bar.

They ranged from sweet to boozy. It was a nice variety that offered something for everyone. For dinner I tried the crab crusted salmon. It was a good pairing, but the salmon without the crab left something to be desired. The Chophouse offers a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask for it. One of the featured items on that menu was the ratatouille. It was fantastic and I would certainly recommend it. For sides I greatly enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was not too fishy, and the whipped Yukons were a delight. Large parties can be a challenge, but regardless I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Though always friendly, we had to remind our server of items that we had asked for on more than one occasion. Near the end of the meal it seemed that the bussers were pushing for us to wrap things up and get out, despite not having been there for a terribly long time. We were asked multiple times if certain items could be cleared while we were still eating them. They just didn't seem to have a good feel for this. There certainly were some strong dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, though it would be on a special occasion as they are certainly not cheap.
