    Red beer

I've been here numerous times before. The food is always delicious. On this visit we only ordered a couple drinks at the bar to celebrate St Paddy's day . My husband had an IPA and the red I had the red and the kolsch ( all crane room beers). They have an extensive selection of not only their own house made beers but other craft and domestics as well. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed our beers and our time there. Next time we will grab food as well.

Salmon cooked perfectly but when it came out it was not warm enough to melt the compound butter on top. Short ribs special, accompanying sides fine short ribs so tough it was hard to put a fork through it Creme brulee great

Visiting from Texas. Simply delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, and exceptional service. Salad, burgers, and fries taste so good! We ordered the Flight (off menu) that we can choose four kinds of beer so that we can taste many kinds of the Crane brewery's beer. Lot of free parking spaces. Good for group, family, and party.

Visiting from Maryland, we decided to go by this fun place. We had to wait about 15 min and got a drink at the bar while waiting. They have so many craft beers it's insane. I don't drink much beer but they have Angry Orchard on tap and a large full bar for whatever you drink of choice. Check their website for daily specials on food and drinks. Wednesday's they have 1/2 price selected apps and $5 23oz beer or cider. Bar area is where we sat and it was comfortable crowded. Service was a little slower than I would expect but the staff are very friendly and helpful. I had the Crane burger and some apps shared amount my peeps. Wings: had the honey hot, great sauce not overly large wings. Good flavor and mix of drums. Tomato Flatbread: Fresh not much on here. I'd skip. Spinach & Artichoke Dip: Very cheesy. Like the pita with it but got hard as it cooled. Was fairly good. Crane burger: I asked for Med-well at the advice of the waitress, was glad cause it was medium. Bacon, pickles a over-easy egg on top. Good taste and the bun was perfect. This was pretty good. If your looking for a good place to hang out watch the game and have some food this is your place. Prices very reasonable.

Go on Thursday after 5! The 1/2 price apps are great! Try the nachos or the loaded fries or both since they'll be cheap. The wings are good next time I'd ask for them crispy, because that's the only thing that was missing. Great for families and friend groups. Check out it.. it's my new New Castle staple!

ABSOLUTE PERFECTION FROM START TO FINISH 10/10!…read more Perfection. Everything about Talbots is absolute perfection. I eat A LOT of food, and one common denominator I see among top-tier restaurants is that the owners and management are a direct reflection of the overall experience, quality, and taste. Talbots is no different. We felt right at home from the moment we walked in. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, like lifetime friends. Our waitress, Teresa, was fantastic. She passed all the vibe checks and matched our energy immediately, all the signs of a veteran server you want guiding you through one of the best eating experiences of your life. She gave us her recommendations and left us to decide. We knew we were here for the #hashtagyouwont 36oz ribeyes, but we wanted to see what else was recommended since everything looked and sounded amazing. We decided to order a lot of food, almost everything that was recommended. This will be a bit of a long-winded review, but I'm sure the true foodies will appreciate it, so here we go: THE APPETIZERS The Brie: How can brie be so good that it deserves to be talked about first? I have no idea, but it was excellent. The strawberry-jalapeño jam, brie, candied pecans, baby naan, and fruit just worked so well together. An absolute hit. Pork Cheek Tacos: These melted in your mouth and exploded with flavor. They were also a really decent size, we were expecting little bite-sized tacos on a dumpling wrapper, but got two substantial tacos instead which was a pleasant surprise. Naan Bombs: Flat out delicious, and there were enough in the serving for everyone to have a few. Duck Wontons: So unique and flavorful. These were like little empanada explosions of flavor. THE MAIN EVENT: THE 36OZ RIBEYE When I tell you this was a perfect steak, this was a perfect steak. Cooked medium rare, oozing with flavor, and charred to absolute perfection on the outside. That is no easy feat with a cut this size, but somehow Talbot and crew made it seem like a walk in the park. Hidden under the steak, soaking up all the juices, are the house cut fries. I forgot they were even there because of the sheer size of the meat! By the time I discovered them, they were soaked with steak juice, but somehow remained crispy and soggy at the same time. It was brilliant, the fries almost had a poutine like aspect to them. Magnificent, completely unique, and made so much sense. As for the side of corn salad.... absolutely mind blowing. It just looked like corn with some sauce on it, nothing special at all. I am so sorry I underestimated you, Mr. Corn Salad. My God, this stuff was amazing. It didn't make sense to me, but I didn't care, I just kept shoveling it into my mouth. DESSERT We saved room for dessert (of course) and got three: The Chocolate Cake: A plate of pure, chocolaty goodness. Pecan Sweet Potato Pie: Spectacular. Coconut Cream Cheesecake: Wow. I am a sucker for coconut and cream cheese anything, and this checked every single box. THE VERDICT Throughout the night, we watched Talbot go up to each table to check in on everyone, and the chef even came out to talk to us. It was an absolute perfect meal top to bottom, start to finish. You can tell how much this entire establishment cares about what they do, and it is a direct reflection on the food. It's not often I can say a meal is flawless, so I have to give them their flowers in a long well deserved review. Five stars, two thumbs up, and a standing ovation for Talbots Taproom. P.s. Extra kudos for all the cool art and overall atmosphere. There is a ton of stuff to do outside as well but we were there on a chilly night so remained inside. We saw a patio, disc golf, and all sorts of other activities, even a tree house. We can't wait to make the hour trip again and enjoy all they have to offer once summer is in full swing!

Service and the bar was upbeat, friendly and overall excellent from "Good Morning" bartender "P"…read more Drinks were good. Wife had the Always Sunny which she enjoyed. Steak was well seasoned and cooked properly. I had the Asian BBQ, Nobody Likes a Party Pooper. Everything tasted pretty good but was all cool. NOTHING came out hot. Not sure how they try to keep the ribs and pork belly warm but it wasn't working. And not sure why the egg roll and potstickers were cool. Nice relaxed, comfortable atmosphere at the bar.

Through this restaurant's website, I made a reservation for dinner for my husband and me. Our table was available on time, and the seating hostess gave us a small table outside. I felt thankful that we were in the shade, because two other tables of customers had sun shining in their eyes. We enjoyed watching cats and horses roaming in the yard nearby. Our waitress had friendly communication but very slow service with errors. During our main course, she never checked in on us, so my husband never received salt that he needed. Furthermore, at the end of our meal, we waited a long time to receive our bill. She took our credit card and many minutes later gave us only an itemized slip, not the customer and merchant copies to sign. Many minutes later, we had to give her our credit card a second time, and she finally gave us the customer and merchant copies. My overall rating is still a positive 4 stars because the foods overall tasted very good. Our starter was the Bread Basket, which contained three types of bread--cinnamon rolls, dinner rolls, and focaccia with dipping oil. My main course was Pistachio Glazed Salmon, which had moist salmon, a delicious pistachio-lime-cilantro glaze, and a side of coconut rice. I chose coleslaw as my side, and it was OK. My husband's main course was the Surf & Turf, which had a 6-ounce filet mignon cooked as requested, a jumbo lump crab cake that was very meaty, and mashed potatoes. His side was a tasty butternut-squash soup. The total price was $98 plus tax and tip.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It's located on an unlikely farm country road, but is such a lovely farm to table restaurant. The menu contains soups, salads, sandwiches and entree. I tried the BBQ Center Cut Pork Chop and absolutely loved it. The chop was perfectly cooked and very very tender. The man chose the Surf and Turf Special, getting a filet and crab cake. He also had the roasted pepper soup that was served with homemade bread croutons. He had nothing but rave reviews for his meal. The decor is lovely - like a modern minimalist farmhouse. We also had live music and wine from Nova Winery with our meal. Georgetown Eats is a very special hidden gem of a restaurant and I am so glad we stopped. It's not huge, so consider reservations.
