My lab has major separation anxiety and my shepherd is very dog reactive to anyone who isn't her brother. So you can imagine how sick to my stomach I was to leave them behind, let alone with a stranger in a strange place. I was worried they'd feel abandoned. Would they care for my babies the way I do at home? Are they out for my money expensive? Where do I even take them? Cue my friends referral to Buddies! Great staff treats my dogs like family More than fair pricing multiple locations within the area daily photo updates of my dogs on FB expectations exceeded! I was able to watch my dogs have an absolute blast with the staff at buddies throught their pixtures on Facebook! Running around, playing! Not cowering in fear or aggression like I was worried about. When we came back to pick them up, they slept the whole drive home! It was like they were at "kids camp" and were all tuckered out! Thank you Buddies! We'll definitely be back and my dogs can't wait!

My dog doesn't even look back at us when we drop her off here. She enjoys her day here. I appreciate the photos that are posted of my dog's day at day care. I was in the area for a month and needed boarding and daycare during the month. I felt safe leaving my dog here while I was out of town. The boarding service was so great we decided to bring her for daycare. The price and service are exceptional compared to a few overpriced places I've used in major metropolitan areas with me leaving wondering if they even know my dog's name. We also booked grooming here after boarding. They did a great job. We have also used their "refresher" service after a daycare day. I highly recommend. $25 and my pup came so fresh and so clean, clean.

My dog ended up getting fleas from here more than once, and we don't have any other pets at home, so it was pretty clear where it came from. Every time I picked him up, he would pull hard on the leash to get out of there and immediately need to go to the bathroom, like he hadn't been let out enough. He also acted extremely thirsty, as if he hadn't had water all day too. He went about three times a week, and most days they only posted one or two photos of him, which made it hard to know what his day actually looked like. I also had to remind them multiple times not to give him chicken treats because he's allergic; I knew each time he was given chicken because he would come home with bloody stools, which was really concerning and I had to take him to the veterinarian initially for this. The staff themselves are very nice, but based on the overall care and repeated issues, I wouldn't recommend this daycare for pets!

The people there are super nice and they do a fantastic job…read more My dog is very difficult to groom and they worked with him but also aren't afraid to let me know if they needed to stop or adjust the groom so he doesn't get pushed too hard. He had an awful experience with a groomer in the past so he tends to be an anxious guy. His last groom was extra special to me because he let them complete it and looked amazing! He also was the calmest I've seen him ever leave a groomer before. They also groomed my long haired cat! It was my first time trying it and she looks so nice! Her fur is extra soft too and I also loved that they work with cats but much like anxious dogs, told me they wouldn't push a cat's groom if they were too stressed about it. She also was absolutely fine coming home too. Just all around a wonderful place that I'm lucky to have near me! Couldn't recommend them enough and I totally understand why you have to book well in advance to get an appointment. They're a really special find!

Though expensive, we have had nothing but good experiences keeping our dogs with them until most recently. One of our dogs, a very social and well behaved West Highland terrier, was banned from spending any time with other dogs on the 2nd day of a 7-day stay after bitting another dog. He spent 6 out of the 7 days of our trip either in the kennel or, for some reason, the hallway outside the kennel while our other dog was in the kennel--a very strange decision given that he's great with our other dog. Why not have them in the same space? Though my Westie has never shown signs of violence or aggressiveness before, I realize the need for them to be careful and protect the other dogs, but no one at American Pet Resort contacted us to tell us what had occurred. We learned after looking at the online cameras. There we saw our Westie confined to his kennel while all the other dogs, including our second dog, were playing outside. Why didn't someone from the kennel call us to let us know? That kind of proactive communication is something I expect. I was none too pleased to find out what happened only after having to make a call to find out why our Westie was left alone in his kennel during outside time. While away, I made a call suggesting the staff place my Westie and my second dog in a separate outdoor space with one another. The staff member I spoke to said they would do so, but they only did so once. Our Westie spent the next 5 days out of our 7 day trip in either in his kennel or the hallway (?) just outside of the kennel, and has been banned from outdoor play with other dogs during future visits. We will make sure that there will be no future visits.

Have you ever had something happen with a pup and you are completely lost on what to do? Well…read morethat's what happened with us and we are sooooo thankful for Mike at Anytime Dog Training!! Our 5 month old male pittie mix bit our son requiring a trip to the pediatrician and 2 fur parents who have dogs all their lives with no clue what to do with the pup. We didn't want to give him away, we contacted the rescue we got him from who said they'd probably put him down, so I started reaching out to trainers for help. The email I sent Anytime Dog Training probably made me sound like a crazy person just overreacting, but I was anxious and overwhelmed, and Mike reached out on the day they received the email (the day they were closed btw) to find out what was going on and were able to come over the next day for a consult. We felt immediately better after meeting Mike and his wife and knew we had picked the right place. We dropped our pup Loki off for a 3 week board and train for behavioral modification and knew he'd be ok. The facility was clean and well-maintained, nice and cool on one of the hottest days of the year so far. It's always scary leaving your baby for their first overnight stay away from home but Mike eased our nerves by sharing videos of Loki making new friends, putting in the training work, and how absolutely happy he was being there. Mike brought him to our home several times throughout the weeks for us to train with Loki as a family for us to see how far he'd come in his training, along with getting our son comfortable with Loki again. I mean Loki loves Mike, and you've gotta be a pretty good guy to gain the love and respect from a big head bully pup! We could not be anymore impressed with Mike's skill and expertise with training our stubborn Loki, and answering all the questions and the fears from his mama lol. Teaching Loki to be a better version of his self was worth every penny we spent for the care and professionalism he received. Now that we know we've found the best, we will never board our Loki anywhere else. Plus definitely plan on sending him and his big sister Penny there for doggy daycare to play again soon!!

He came with some bad habits especially while on the leash. Our Veterinarian recommended Bill Mattis at River Ridge Kennels. After we talked to Bill on the phone we enrolled Teddy in the six week obedience training course. And what a blessing! We found their prices very reasonable and the training was excellent. There were six dogs in our class and each dog had their own set of issues and personalities. The love, respect and compassion Bill showed our pets was nothing short of amazing. Well, Teddy passed with flying colors and my wife and I did as well. Bill and staff come with many years of experience and I can't give enough praise to Bill as he is the consummate professional when it comes to training dogs AND their owners.
