Go-to for made fresh daily pastries!! You have to try everything! I have been 2x already! I have ordered the Almond croissant, blueberry muffin, blueberry lemon scone, ham and Gruyère croissants, and the famous cinnamon roll croissant. Everything is baked to perfection. Fresh and melts in your mouth. Staff is friendly and helpful with any questions. I typically get my items to go, but they have seating available to get a coffee and pastry to sit and enjoy inside. I definitely recommend. Free parking available, back entrance door away from the street. It is next to a coffee shop.

I was craving chocolate and like rich good chocolate and who can't think of Le Petit Gateau. It's a bakery within Indy coffee roasters and they mostly take orders but they also have a good variety of breads, croissants, brownies and muffins so you may get lucky with what you are craving for. Atleast that's my experience. Service was pretty quick and I ordered and left in less than 5 minutes

Cute little pastry shop under the new apartments at North End... filled with sweet treats, pastries even macaroons. Nice open space shared with Indie Roasters, individual seats but what a cute spot for moms and their kiddos! Even a comfy couch area! Snagged a blueberry lemon scone and snagged 2 macaroons from Nicole. She helped explain the flavors and I wish I had purchased more bc they were so light, crisp and airy! Parking located right out front but I'm unsure where I'd park if those were all taken? Close enough to walk from the Monon and take a break but good location with all the apartments above it. Hope to visit again bc macaroons are my weakness!

DELICIOUS. Everything was clean and you can tell that the bakers take their job seriously. They answered our questions patiently and helped us decides. My friend brought her 3 year old and he devoured the chocolate muffin.

I saw a newsletter about the opening of Le Petit Gateau. I love croissants and couldn't wait to try it! They have some great options and I ordered all of the croissants and the danish to try out. The plain croissant is buttery. The chocolate croissant has a good amount of chocolate. The ham and Gruyère croissant was my least favorite. I think the trim of the ham on the outside was slightly hard from it being exposed while baking but you can just take that part out if you don't like it. My favorite was the almond croissant. It wasn't too sweet! The cheese danish had cinnamon in it which I was surprised about. I warmed them up at home and they were all delicious. To top it off, Indy Coffee Roasters share the same space, so I'll be making two trips every time. The space seems like a great place to work at! It's big and has a lot of seating. I can see myself working there for a couple of hours if I need a place outside of the house. It's a great spot!

Yessss! Finally made my way over to this place today and I am so pumped! Been missing an almond croissant with ample filling from my life. I ended up getting a a variety of things for the family to try so we could pick our favorites. Clear winners were the croissant, scone and danish. Muffin was also wonderful, but the others stood out because I have a hard time finding superb quality in those elsewhere. Very minimalist atmosphere but cozy, it works! Street parking right out front. They open at 7am during the week, dangerous for pre-work goodies!

I stopped in for the new indie coffee location and this bakery happened to be right across from them. Everything looked so fresh even though it was 2pm in the afternoon. I picked the chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll croissant and both were absolutely delicious! I love that the bakery is close to me, there's so much seating and it's baby friendly!

This place is located on the first floor of Northend Apartments next to Indie Coffee Roasters. I was able to go on their very first day and I was NOT disappointed (nor did I expect to be). The service was quick and there was parking around the back and in the front. This is also a great space to work from as they have amazing treats and coffee right there is a mixed-use space. Many tables and booths with charging outlets as well! I ordered a Ham and Cheese croissant and it was AMAZING! The chees was delicious and they did not skimp on the ham! I will totally be going back to try more of their offerings! Congrats on the Brick and Mortar!!!

This was a nice bakery! Very pretty and modern inside! The customer service was lovely and attentive. I ordered a macaron and a kouign amann. The macaron was birthday cake flavor and it very tasty! Had that lovely crisp edges but tasty soft insides. The kouign amann was good, I just prefer mine a little bit more crisp but it was still a great pastry. The only other reason for 3 stars was parking and finding the location. The bakery is located inside a building.

If you are looking for some of the best French pastries in central Indiana look no further. Congratulations to Le Petit Gateau on your opening! I've been a fan for a couple of years thanks to Indie Coffee Roasters and now you have your very own brick and mortar! This was the best way to start my work week. Thank you so very much for bringing such high quality pastries to the Indy area!!!

I am so happy that this place opened. The location is great and there is easy access from the front or back, where there is additional parking. The service was great and the pastry chef, along with the other employees, are so kind. It smells absolutely incredible and the hand painted artwork adds to the ambiance. As for the pastries, every single one has been phenomenal. Our favorites are the pain au chocolat and the ham and Gruyère cheese. All of the croissants are flaky, buttery, and flavorful. They priced extremely well too considering the amount of time and energy that goes into them.

The staff is always super helpful and surprisingly chipper even at 7am on a weekday. Their custom cakes are tasty and everything seems reasonably priced. Definitely worth a visit.

I've been going to Taylor's Bakery for years. This was my first time ordering from the Indianapolis…read morelocation as they said I had to do my consultation there for a wedding cake. I had provided inspiration pictures via email of the look that I wanted. We discussed options, and I agreed on doing one small single tier decorated cake and a large sheet cake, all with white cake and raspberry filling. The price was great for wedding cake. I agreed on the large scored sheet cake with rosettes on each piece, in my wedding colors. I also agreed on adding a few flowers to the decorated cake to match the sheet cake. I specified that I wanted an elegant version of white birch (like the pictures I provided), with some gold foil and leaves on the side. I paid for the order that day and then I emailed another image with examples of our wedding colors, as requested. No confirmation of the email was received. Fast forward, I decided to change the cake to half chocolate to satisfy the chocolate lovers that would be attending. I had been in touch with Heather through email. So I first emailed several weeks in advance requesting the change. I did not receive a response. So I called the bakery 5 days before to request the change. The employee that answered, could not find my order and said that someone would call me back. No one called back that day. So I emailed and then called again 2 days later. Again, the employee could not find my order. I had a dentist appointment near the Fishers location that afternoon, so I decided to stop by that location and talk to the manager. That manager contacted the Indianapolis location, and then Heather finally called me back, explained that they had a small fire recently and that was the reason for the delay in communication, and assured me that my order was there, and everything was fine. She gave me her number to contact and I confirmed with her that I would like to change the sheet cake to half chocolate. On the day of the wedding, my step father and brother in law picked up the cakes for me. I did not end up seeing the cakes until the reception was happening. My bridesmaid mentioned the cake, so I got up to go look at it and was very disappointed. It was not decorated like I wanted. The birch did not look elegant at all, the colors were awful, the purple flowers looked brownish, the entire top was just covered in flowers, there was no gold foil.. it did not look at all like I expected or imagined. I still probably would not have even complained if they didn't also provide me with an entirely chocolate sheet cake. The entire extra large cake to serve all of my guests was all chocolate. I don't even like chocolate cake, so I was pretty upset as the point was for my guests to have a choice. I ended up giving the leftover cake away. Before writing this review, I first text Heather to let her know what happened, and that I was disappointed. She said she would get back to me in a few days when she was back to work. It's been another week and I never heard back about it, nothing was done about it.

Yesterday, I decided that I would not be cooking dinner and instead opted to order pizza and dessert to be picked up on my way home. This is such a cute, quaint little shop located in a tiny strip mall next to a gas station. So very unassuming, yet quite impressive. I loved the two cute yellow tables and chairs out on the sidewalk as well as the Sinatra that was playing when I entered the shop. I was greeted warmly and let me say how much I value a pleasant and genuine interaction like that. Someone came to the front of the store from the kitchen in the back, and she too greeted me with a very welcoming and warm smile. This fact alone makes me want to return and support this place of business. My pizzas were prepared fresh and handed to me hot out of the oven. The deserts, an assortment of 3 different kinds of cookies as well as two slices of cake, were kept separate and cold. My husband loved the pizza (he is somewhat of a connoisseur) and I enjoyed it as well. The carrot cake was a bit dense for my liking and the pistachio ricotta was decadent. My husband really enjoyed these sweet treats as a night cap! I loved the cookies. I ordered the Peanut Butter Brownie Swirl cookie, the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie, and two of the Pistachio Thumbprint cookies. My personal favorite was the Pistachio Chocolate Crunch cookie. It had a great contrast in texture with the soft-baked cookie being perfectly complemented by the crunch of the pistachio pieces, and it wasn't overly sweet. I'll definitely be back to try more cookies, cakes and pastries in the future! They also carry some authentic imported Italian products, such as pomodoro sauce.
