I have eaten here a few times for breakfast and brunch meals. I have never been disappointed. They have some very cool variations on some familiar items. Different versions of eggs benedict for example. Staff is always friendly and attentive. They are usually busy on weekend mornings so you might end up waiting a few minutes for a table. I'm not sure if they take reservations... Good spot, I will definitely be visiting again! read more

The food was good. The crepes were a little thick for my personal taste. I prefer them light and airy. I felt like the menu was very similar to IHOP but the potions were smaller. I would like to go back and try some of the other menu items and see if the feeling is the same. I know the omelets were huge and looked amazing so I'll probably go for one of those next occasion. read more

I had heard of this restaurant, but I didnt have the chance to try it until I came to Irving. Even on a Saturday morning we didnt have to wait long to be seated. That's not to say that the place wasnt busy because it was! Our server was very patient and courteous and brought out the drinks right away. Now, even though I was on vacation I still wanted to find some healthy options and trust me when I say that Le Peep has some good ones (and at a great price). I had the wheat french toast served with fruit, egg whites, and sausage. Man, I wanted to eat that french toast forever. The portion size is just right if you're hungry and maybe you'll have a few bites to take home with you. Pleasantly surprised by this one. read more

Le Peep - french toast w/ fruit - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Irving, Texas

I've been coming to Le Peep for years. I love the atmosphere and size, you should get hear early on Saturday / Sunday to minimize wait time. The food is tasty. Coffee is hot. Juice is cold. Note: their orange juice if freshly squeezed. Wait staff is great, friendly with people skills (chatty and smiles). Manager came over to check on us. With them being in that location for over 20yrs. I would like to see a few upgrades just to give it a little spunk. read more

Thoughts we would try this place. Our food came out a little slow but I didn't mind, no hurry. When it did come it was piping hot! Nice hot fresh food. I had the country fried streak. The gravy was good but the meat was on the tough side. The French Toast was good and it's worth getting again! The waitress and cashier where extremely nice. All and all a nice place for breakfast. read more

Love Peep! It was an old stomping ground for many of us. Today, I visited for brunch and was surprised at the level of service I received. I was there for about 90 min with a friend, and never did the server ask if we needed refills on our coffee......(Am I wrong to assume that there are still refills on coffee?) I would much rather pay a compliment than to complain. Coffee was $3.25 don't mind the price, but the service was poor! I look forward to receiving better service next time. read more

I love Le peep, not because of the name or the country french feel that vibrate this restaurant, but for the people serving us breakfast/brunch. Always smile, and Always fast. We enjoy Le Peep, probably twice a month, and I'd order their breakfast tea and coffee for my wife. I enjoy the Benedict here because this is the only place that does it well every single time. and I love the bottomless hazelnut coffee on the table. Tip #1 : It gets pretty busy for brunch during weekend so make sure you arrive before 9:30am read more

Not open during coronavirus. Sign on the door says closed until further notice. Otherwise they have amazing breakfast/brunch and can't wait for them to open back up read more

Although historically a great chain & I have enjoyed their breakfast in Denver, Orlando, and other cities, this location is worn. Service was great, food below average. Frozen blueberries for oatmeal were still frozen. Bland gristly sausage. Bathroom in need of refurbishment, a peek into kitchen reveals below average and ambiance of a greasy spoon. Skip this locale. read more

Harvest Benedict and Pesto chicken Sandwiche are the best , my Husband loved the food and my baby loved his Happy Face Pancake #Goodfood

This is a no-frills restaurant with excellent service. I had the healthier option, spinnaker, which was delicious! My husband had the plain stack and classic omelette. Great service with a pretty fast turnaround. I met up with a friend here for lunch, and the staff here were really nice. They serve breakfast all day and have a small selection of lunch items. I ordered the Cajun chicken sandwich with no bun, and the spices were on point! I ordered the baked potato soup as a side, and it was really good. My friend ordered the philly, and she said it was really good. The restaurant does close at 2pm though, I went about 1, and they were not busy at all. I will definitely come back when I am in the area. read more

I picked up the food but they also had the dining area open. It looks like a little mom and pop shop inside so i knew the food would be somewhat good. I had chorizo tacos and they were very good. We also got the desperado which is chorizo and potatoes with your peppers and what not. It also came with a bagel. Pretty tasty but not the best. read more

What a hotbed of disorganized service/ customer service. This place needs to play the game diner dash, cause it's failing in so many ways. Huge line waiting for tables, 1/3 of tables empty with crowds if potential diners waiting. Cashier/ hostess with another girl seating people, taking care of outgoing orders. I only saw one bus lady who was inefficiently clearing tables without a basin but removing cups/ dishes a few at a time. So short staffed not even funny. Food was so so. Not sure why there's a crowd here for mediocre food. Maybe cause it's the only game in town? Guests who arrived after us were seated first. When asked, hostess/ cashier person said they called in their names. I asked oh, you take reservations? To which she said, "no, but you can put your name on the list... hmmm". Lots of locals or regulars that seem to know each other and get special treatment it seems. The food is NOT worth the 40 min wait! Especially when 1/3 of the tables were unoccupied. read more

So. I'm up against a two star review. That's okay. Le Peep's gets five stars because: a) it's very reasonably priced. b) great food, every time. c) they've remodeled - the place looks great. d) the service is a-ma-zing. e) I go there ALOT. Unless you go on a Sunday morning, during the after-church crowd, the wait isn't ever very long. f) they have healthy options. they have more decadent options. they have great coffee. g) i'll rave about the service again - they're SO FRIENDLY, even during peak busy times. read more

I'm just not a breakfast person. Maybe that's because I have yet to find a breakfast place that's able to impress me. It's always eggs, blah blah blah, bacon, blah blah blah. Lunch and Dinner have evolved, what's wrong with you Breakfast? Nothing really stands out on their menu. They have the basic breakfast pancakes, omelets, and an addition of Tex-Mex breakfast. There's a light/healthy menu that may attract some people. I got the Desperado which was a skillet of potatoes, tomatoes, ground meat, and egg on top. So-so. Husband got an omelet and I honestly thought it was the most anorexic looking omelet I've ever seen. The waitstaff kept speaking to us in really high & exaggerated voices. I felt like I was being babysat. "Does somebody need more juiceeee?? Do you know what you want to eat today??." It's such a turn off to have insincere service. read more

My favorite brunch place hands down! The line is normally outside the door, and for good reason! The ambiance is so sweet and homey. From the second you walk in you are greeted by genuinely sweet hosts. Served by the most attentive and conversational waiters. And you will always leave incredibly happy and full to the brim. I've tried just about everything from the 18 wheeler to the skillets and have not been disappointed yet. This time particularly, I ordered the eggs Benedict and found it as my new favorite! Be diligent if you plan to come for they close at 2 on weekdays and 3 on weekends. But don't surprised to find a herd of people huddling outside the door for them to open at 6am! read more

Wow, what a let-down. I have been coming to this location of Le Peep for lunch for the past 12 years - I used to work in a nearby building so my coworkers and I were frequent patrons. The service WAS impeccable and the food was delicious. The food is still excellent - but the service is atrocious. Our server was very friendly and polite but was clearly over-tabled for the lunch rush on a Friday. It took almost 10 minutes for him to acknowledge us and take our drink order - but for some reason he was not allowed to take our food order at the same time (I heard him tell two other tables the same thing). 10 minutes later, we finally got to order our food. When the food did come out, it was delicious and hot - but had I been on a lunch hour from an office, I wouldn't have made it back to work in time. I noted the same owner-manager was still there, hopefully she reads Yelp and can fix the short-staffed-ness (yeah, I just made up that word). read more

This restaurant is solely open for brunch. So can you please tell me why they can't create a proper hollandaise sauce. I'm a chef and can show you if you want, just ask. Ordered the Salmon Benedict: 1. The hollandaise wasn't thick, it was oily & separated. 2. Salmon over cooked. Unless specified, salmon is served medium to medium well. Not over well and dry. 3 Stars for friendly and fast service. read more

Out of this world. :)) I appreciate the service very much and the food. read more

Twice I have visited and twice I have enjoyed myself. The giant carafe of fresh coffee at my table guarantees life won't be that bad. Oh and a carafe of water? Perfect!!!! My pancake was fluffy. My omelette was cooked correctly and filled with good veggies. It was pretty good sized for a "mini" omelette. I suppose a two egg is mini in their establishment and that's still plenty for me. Served with potatoes that I skipped and fruit that was per the usual. Grandmas poached eggs looked amazing and she said they were done perfectly. That woman loves a good poached egg. All this for 18 bucks? I see you Le Peep. read more

Le Peep - A little Sunday paper before breakfast! - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Irving, Texas

I went here a few times for brunch because it's nearby my home and I had a couple of Groupons, which allowed me to try multiple things on different visits. I think overall the food is okay, it's probably really crowded on Sundays because there's not many other brunch places around the Irving area, that I know of... or maybe people really do love this place. I do like their Nutella crepes though, but it's NUTELLA. VERY hard to screw that one up. So delicious though. Also, their Pandhandled Desperado skillet was good. It was a little too salty. They have salsa on there, which is kind of a weird combination, in my opinion, so I asked them to leave that out. They actually messed up my order and put it in there, and I gave it a try, but yeah.. no. It was weird. As much as I hate to waste food, I had to have them send out another one. So wasteful, but I couldn't eat it. I love pancakes, so I ordered it here once with a side of sausage links. They have one called the "plain pancakes" and as the name suggests, it really was plain. Plain and dry. It was supposed to be their signature batter, too. They leave water pitchers on each table with a couple of glasses so you can pour it yourself. They leave slices of lemon in there for what seems like long periods of time because it starts to have that bitter lemon taste to it from the lemon peel... Probably to hide taste of unfiltered water. Gross. I probably won't be back here anytime soon as there are plenty of brunch places in Dallas to try, many of which are much better than Le Peep. read more
