Had chicken alfredo. Chicken tasted like it was boiled in broccoli water, and was unseasoned. Alfredo barely even tasted like anything. Wife had lasagna. Said it was good but it was cold in the middle. Very expensive. Main claim to fame is grandma style home-made italian food. Not everyone's grandma can cook, or in this case, should be allowed to. Also, many other 5-star reviews here mention an Ogden location. Looks like this place may be riding their coat-tails. read more

Great atmosphere, only place in Logan I've been to that hasn't been full of College students or kids crawling all over. Love this place! Excellent food and excellent service every time. We've tried a lot on the menu and found ourselves ordering the Salmon and the Chicken Limone quite a bit and it's always delicious. If you go on Friday or Saturday night, you will be entertained by the wonderful music on the patio. You are welcome to bring in wine and pay a small cork fee. This is a don't miss dinner choice for Logan. The location is an old house converted to a restaurant so the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. I was a single dinner which in some restaurants you're not treated well. I called ahead to see if they could accommodate me and they dis so without hesitation and they were in fact busy. Casey was my server but several servers stopped to chat me up as they assumed I was from out of town. Was it my bottle of wine that gave me away or the travel brochure? LOL. A little of both I assume. I received lots of suggestions from Casey and another gal server of where to go and what to see. I felt so comfortable single dining and it was the wine. The food was delicious. I order the crab ravioli which is made in house. I don't usually go for cream sauces but Casey recommended it. The sauce was light and delicious and the ravioli was thin and delicate. Not the think tasteless pasta you may be accustomed to. The pasta was so delicate you could really taste and enjoy the filling. I recommend this place without reservation. Oh, and the wine was good too. read more

We (our party of 6) made a reservation many weeks ago, and then called two weeks ago to confirm. When we arrived, we were told by the hostess that our reservation had been changed to 5:30 a few days prior. We did not make any changes to our 6:30 reservation. The hostess did not believe us. She insisted that this had happened and stated so, over and over again. We were offered a table about 20 minutes later but the mood was ruined. We have dined at Le Nonne on several occasions after cycling the MS150. We always reserve a table for 6:30. Also, a few years prior, we arrived with the usual party of 6 at 6:30 and were told that our reservation had been changed to a party of 2. Something is "fishy" at Le Nonne. The Old house setting was OK. the service was slow, we had to flag down the waitress to get served after we'd been waiting for 15 minutes. The food was good, not great, but good. The pricing is reasonable for what you got and I notice it I need the servings are quite large. Have an enjoyable time with a colleague but wasn't for the company it would've been a poor evening. Although the food was excellent, the service was terrible. The waitress brought me the wrong wine, which wasn't a big deal. The pasta was excellent, when we asked to see the menu again for dessert, the waitress refused stating she'd rather just tell us what was available. this place is by far the fanciest place in Logan, that being said the food is really good. The problem I have is the seasoning and attention to the appetizers, specifically the calamari. They had absolutely NO FLAVOR, they tastes like fryer grease and the marinara sauce tastes like it came out of a can. The food was fantastic, the service impeccable, and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic night out. Ordered the carpaccio for a starter with a bottle of chianti. The olive tapenade with the bread was very good. Main course we had the spaghetti pescatora and the grilled salmon. Both were delicious and definitely met expectations. You've got to hunt for this spot, but it was truly worth it. We were visiting from CA, and just wanted some non-chain-restaurant Italian food. This place delivered. Not too expensive, either...as long as you don't add on a bunch of appetizers, drinks, or desserts (which we did ). The atmosphere is very homey, because it's in a house. That probably makes the place a little louder than it would be otherwise, but better to have a full house than an empty cavern. Family all liked it, too. Great work, Le Nonne! read more

I guess you've already read how great this Logan, Utah restaurant is - pretty outside seating, great waitresses, lovely menu. We ordered two steak dishes and there aren't many mentions of them on reviews - but they were delicious! We started with Caesar salads - so delicious and two diff glasses of red wine. My husband enjoyed the Taglita which is premium cut New York steak with lovely toppings including sun-dried tomatoes. I enjoyed the Robespierre which is the same steak topped with arugula and shaved parmesan. Everything including the roasted potatoes and asparagus that come with the Secondi menu items was so delicious. Call ahead for reservation, then sit outside if the weather is nice! read more

Great appetizer options! Their steak was a bit chewey and their mahi was a little over cooked but the appetizers were amazing! A restaurant in a quaint house. Lovely ambience and they had live music playing in one of the inter joining rooms. My husband liked the bread and olive tapenade that they provide each table. We tried the crab ravioli and the tagliata- both were delicious and nice sized servings. I don't usually order large beef meals but in this dish the beef is thinly sliced and has added olive oil, rosemary and sundried tomato. They have a good selection of Italian wines by the glass. I ordered one of the more expensive wines and found that it had started to turn. I often feel discouraged from buying a nicer glass of wine as restaurants/bars often take longer to go through the stock and the better wine can taste stale. I felt awkward telling the waitress and she thought the bar would have served a fresh bottle but she was happy to replace it and the new glass tasted much better. One million chef kisses to Le Nonne! When in town visiting my sister, I wanted to find a nice restaurant to take her to so we could celebrate her new job. I searched on my trusty Yelp and took to the reviews and decided Le Nonne would be the perfect place. I called to make a reservation and was able to get one easily. Mind you, I did call two days in advance so I'm not sure what it looks like when you try to call day of. They are only open for dinner. I do wish that they had an online reservation system since they aren't open until the evening so you can make a reservation until they open or you have to leave a message and wait for a call back. As a planner, this is the only thing I would add. We only had to wait about 10 minutes once we arrived for our reservation which was understandable as they had limited outdoor seating due to covid. The outdoor atmosphere was so cute with great trees and string lights. And the food?? The food was spectacular! They had a smaller menu available than what is listed on their website, but still plenty of choices. I ordered the stracetti ai gorgonzola. The steak was flavorful and tender and the cream sauce was soooo delicious. I asked them if I could substitute the veggies with pasta and they did so without even charging. It went perfectly with the dish. We ordered a tiramisu to split for dessert and it was full of great espresso flavor and creamy. The service was great as well. This is a great place for a date, a celebration, or just a delicious Italian meal. read more

This is not what most people expect for an Italian restaurant. It is not a place to go get chicken parm or Alfredo. I had the pollo de limone. It was tasty but it was paper thin and served with potatoes and asparagus. The potatoes very very dry and with not much flavor. My husband had the shrimp Scampi and said it was delicious. Very frustrating. The last 3 times I've tried to go here, I've walked in without a reservation and been told there is at least a two hour wait.... for 2 people. Ive tried different times and different days, but's it's always the same. The frustrating things is that the restaurant has been nearly empty every single time. I counted at least 10 open tables when they turned us away just now. They told us that they were all reserved. I guess they don't save any tables for walk-ins. This is definitely a hole in the wall place that you would have to stumble upon! Delicious! I've been in Logan for over 2 years and hadn't even heard of it. I wish I had sooner! The chef is from Northern Italy. It's in a cute little house and just has a homey feel to it. My wife and I came and walked right in and were immediately seated at 8 PM on a Saturday night. All of the staff that we interacted with was very friendly and kind. The food came out quick and was delicious! I had the fettuccini alfredo with chicken and my wife had the pasta with pears in it (I can't remember what it's called but supposedly it is a popular dish). They offered to put on pepper and Parmesan. The food was fresh and we had plenty to keep as leftovers. I think one of our favorite parts was the live music! I'll start with the positive. #1- service! I feel terrible because I don't remember her name but she had her hair in a pony with some red/pink in it. She was so kind and truly cared about making sure my experience was good. It's very rare you get a server like that. She deserves some kudos from the owner. #2- very cute and homey decor/interior. It was a very great ambiance #3- Their olive tapenade or whatever they serve with the bread is amazing! The most unfortunate part of my experience was the actual meal (the reason you end up at the restaurant in the first place). Which is why I could only give two stars. The Caesar salad dressing tasted like it was just mayo. Really bad. Then I was super excited to try the home made ravioli as it is my favorite to try when I travel. I ordered the spinach and cheese ravioli and it was for sure homemade which is so awesome especially because I know it's a time consuming product to make. Unfortunately, it had barely any flavor. I don't think there was any cheese in it and it was laying on a plate of watery butter which just killed all the flavor and I couldn't even taste the sage which usually stands out pretty easily. This place though! It's easily the best place and most fancy to eat in Logan. Do you wear suit tie and dress. The first time I tried to take the wife to a fancy dinner, we ended up with the number one rated yelp review and Logan, which incidentally is an Indian place located inside of a gas station. It's certainly not as bad as it sounds, but we got way too dressed up, and then when I couldn't find the place we stopped into said gas station to ask about side restaurant, only to realize they were under the same roof. Back to Le Nonne, which means the grandma in French, the menu is always changing, the ingredients are super fresh and they have great options.
