Don't invite customers in, take their order, make them wait past closing for their food, and then act surprised that they're still sitting there. It was just deeply, thoroughly underwhelming. Italian food is an art, sculpted by flavor profile layering and complementary wine selection for enhancement. Le Nonne is a middle of the road Italian restaurant. Ambiance I would rate this establishment a 1. Although I understand the concept of volume and earning potential per table, for the price point offered the tables are in far too close of proximity with a heavy burden of echo. Depending on where you are in the building, I'm sure there are varying degrees, but two tables in one bay window is too much. Service was a 2. Our food arrived after that of people who arrived after us and the waitress seemed disinterested after leaving our food with us. Had I needed a refill on the 10$ glass of Pinot Grigio, it wasn't happening. Food was a 3 at best. Although the vegetables were fresh, and the tapenade was good, the bread was stale through out and we found 2 fruit flies in it. Fortunately we fly fish, so we took the presence of flies as a good thing, but it rendered our bread inedible. The main course was hot at serve, and cooked to scale, the pasta was slightly over done on my husband dish and the sausage was still encased, making the sausage chewy and unappetizing. The marinara was bland, and needed red wine base to complement the spice. By in large, there were fundamental errors in the culinary experience, but for novice level Italian it would pass. read more

Le Nonne is a great romantic spot for a date night in Logan. The house itself is charming and gives the restaurant a warm, intimate atmosphere. We reserved a table inside and really enjoyed it, but after seeing the patio, we wished we had chosen to sit outside. The patio was accompanied by a solo guitarist, which made for a fantastic setting. Next time, that's where we'll be sitting! The food was excellent, and the service matched it--friendly, attentive, and well-paced throughout the evening. Even better, the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, excellent service, and a good value. We made a reservation. We still (along with others) had to wait over 75 minutes. They have no bar so you either stand outside for an hour or they send you up the street to another bar. They should address this. Seems to be a consistent problem so have an arrangement with the bar or put in a small bar with appetizers for your LONG waiting guests. Also, when celebrating anniversaries or birthdays, at least gift your guests a chocolate or something. Nothing special for a special occasion. I'd rather go somewhere my time is appreciated and my special occasion is celebrated, even a mint would do the trick. The steak was just o.k. read more

The food was great, but more expensive than I was hoping to pay. The cheapest plates were $14, which is pretty high for Logan. I was disappointed that there weren't many dishes that came with sides, but my gnocchi in pesto sauce was delicious and filled me up. Everyone in the group I was with loved their food, and the bread they bring you is quite good. My husband and I went the Le Nonne for our second anniversary, and it has been the best date to date! The service was great, and the food was even better. It is pretty pricey, but you can keep the price down when you don't drink the wine. We had plenty to fill us at the table, and then again for lunch the next day.
