I don't remember who did my nails Last night, yet the young man who painted them did absolutely fantastic, but the miss who did my actual acrylic did a horrendous job. Some of my nails are not straight and some don't even cover my full nail. I do my own Nails and felt like treating myself, once you buff the surface you DEHYDRATE the nail not glue the tip on then dehydrate, sadly I watched and I saw so many things I disliked when she did them. I have only had three manicures in my life, and all of them at Le Nails. They are always accommodating and friendly. I feel comfortable going there. Michelle does a great job with my nails, though I will say sometimes she's a little rough with the Dremel. I will admit the nails are slightly imperfect in shape, but to me that makes them look natural. In fact, that is one of the main compliments I receive - besides the design. And yes, they are a little thick (as one reviewer complained), but that makes them durable. I don't know how many times I have caught a nail or smacked them into something, but not once have I cracked or broken any of them. And the finish stayed flawless! I will rate the shop a four, only because design options seem to be limited. But Michelle is willing to try..! read more

I've visited this salon many times and am never disappointed. The salon is always very clean, and staff is very polite and friendly. They have great availability and are very accommodating to walk ins if you are not able to make an appointment. I got my last manicure with Mary and thought she did a wonderful job. She was extremely detailed and I've had them for about a week now without any lifting or chips. Price is also very reasonable and comparable to other salons in the area. read more

I recently started coming here earlier this month, but I love it so far. Wait times can be a hassle at times but the quality of the nails makes it worth it. I usually have Raven do my nails. WORST salon that I've ever been to. When I asked for glitter , she tried to give me glitter polish when that's not what I asked for . I asked for glitter and she stated and showed that she had glitter . The girl who did my nails was nasty and rude! She couldn't even do a simple heart. I wasn't pleased with my nails so I asked her to re do them and she got an attitude. She started to pull on my hand and try to pop my nails off after I SPECIFIALLY told her not to pop them off . Awful. I called ahead of time for a price for a shellac fill in. The lady on the phone was so nice. When I walked in, the guy who helped me was extremely welcoming as well. That's about it. I told him that I needed a shellac fill. He proceeded to take off my shellac, then he said "oh my God honey, your nails are so old" which they probably were. Then he told me that he needed to take them off which was fine. He proceeded to rip my nails off using the cuticle remover tool. When I complained about the pain and requested that they be soaked off, he said "no, that takes 20-25 minutes". I really didn't care how long it took. If I ask you to soak of my nails, and I'm paying, you need to soak off my nails. He then asked the lady who I spoke with on the phone to come rip my nails off my other hand using the same tool. I had one nail left and it was the pain of them trying to get it off was unbearable, so I said "STOP! Soak it off!" To which he said "no honey, I'll do it for you". At this point I was on fire. I sat there in silence. I thought that I had to let them finish doing my nails at this point since my nail bed was ruined from them ripping the acrylic off. Then he told me "I'm not doing the acrylic, I'll just do the shellac on your natural nail. It's better for you". That's not what I asked you for. But whatever. He filed my nails, they are COMPLETELY uneven. They look AWFUL! Then he passed me off to the guy next to him who filed my nails more, cracked the tips of them, and painted over it anyways. When finished, the original guy said "you got some cash for me honey?". I said "I'm sorry, what?" He said "do you have cash?". He was asking because they only take tips in cash. I said "I'm paying with a card". He said "how much cash you got?". I am COMPLETELY disgusted by this service. On my way out, he even acknowledged how badly my nails look by saying "next time we'll make it look better for you". Yeah okay... Never again. read more

So disappointed. I've come here in and off for years since I use to work in the mall. Called to see if there was enough time since it was a hour before closing for a pedi and dip nails. Was told to come in. Just not satisfied with the work. I've come in late before and still had quality work done but this all felt rushed. It's just not neat like it usually is. My toes weren't even dry and she was turning off the lights and kicking me out so I messed on one in the process. Had an extension done on my big toe nail and it just doesn't look good. read more

This is how I left after 2 different elderly nail techs tried to do my nails. They said I cheated them by not paying full price!! Owner's brother chuffed out loud when I asked him to inspect then argued with me over how great the work was. I tried to direct them how to fix it along the way. An 8 yr old could do better!! The brother told me I can't see!! He told me not to come back as if I EVER would!!??!? Rude! But why so sloppy, gloppy, and thick??!! I think $20 for this mess was fair. I have been going here for years and today will be my last visit. This used to be a great establishment for nails but, after losing most of the techs it is honestly a sinking ship. I just got a pedicure from the new tech, she did a complete hack job on my nails and while I am usually very patient I walked out without my service being complete. Michelle is great but, you have to wait for hours as she is the only one who know how to do acrylic or any service besides a polish. It is hours of watching her toggle between two and three patrons while also instructing her less than knowledgeable staff. 4 hours is pretty standard for a basic fill and pedicure. BEWARE OF THE NEW PEDICURE LADY! She has no clue what she is doing. I feel bad because this was once a great salon. read more

Not satisfied. I went in for a manicure and pedicure. I got the pedicure and my nails polished. For whatever reason people just don't want to put the same effort into your fingernails as they do into your feet. I don't understand this. I have had this experience with multiple nail salons. Someone is always trying to tell me I don't need a manicure, but, why don't you just give me what I asked for. It looks good after you put the oil and the lotion on; however, after a few hours it looks crusty. You got the money today, but, you'll never get my money again. I used to love coming here. Michelle used to do such a good job on my eyebrows and nails but on my birthday (Friday the twelfth) I had this man do my nails. He ripped my acrylic off. I told him it hurt bad he kept going and got a terrible attitude. When he was finished he began to do the tips, very rude with me. I asked for coffin shape he was so rude, i did not want to pay anymore so i told him just square. He proceeded to put the acrylic on and then cut the nails which many know is not procedure. So they are wide and uneven. He filed them uneven and none of my nailed are the same length. They are too thick and have acrylic still on them. This is honestly an embarrassment and I will never go back again. I will be asking for a refund and a fix Monday. read more

This nail salon is hidden gem. They provide quick and efficient service. I go mainly for a pedicure when I come to Michigan to visit my folks. Michelle, the owner, is very personable and still remembers my face when I walk through the door every couple months. Love this place! read more

After becoming a regular customer, I was told that I must pay cash in the future. There was no sign posted about a change in policy just a rather pointed demand, "You pay cash next time." The owner said this was due to the fees charged by credit card companies. Is this not the cost of doing business? I guess losing $110-$150 each month for my two visits is acceptable in the scheme of things. There are signs posted about tipping with cash and I always do. I've not heard the cash payment request made to any other customer and there has been no issue with my debit cards. The inconvenience of getting cash on my way to my appointment is not a big deal but make it a general policy that applies to everyone. Don't single me out. Two of my favorite techs left the salon and I recently had a very uncomfortable visit with the guy I see now. It was positively painful! While trying to make sense of the chilly feeling and his demeanor, I finally realized that there had been an argument about money between the owner and the tech earlier that day. That visit was uncomfortable in both atmosphere and services rendered! My advice: Don't let dollar signs get in the way of offering a pleasant environment and comfortable experience to each and every client. I'm moving on... read more

The place is clean and friendly so I thought I would be pleased with the outcome. Went to get a full set gel. It looks horrible, lumpy and thick. Went home and immediately started soaking them off. I specifically said I did not want them to look thick. The form is not natural looking. I don't know the older man name who did the work. Of course I will not return. read more
