I have never had a bad experience here. I really appreciate that they are open Sundays. Always kind staff. Prices are great. I do wish they had music - relaxing or happy - instead of the news on. It was hard to relax when I was hearing about crime in Michigan instead of music. My full set of acrylics were done well - but I usually walk out wishing a few details were paid attention to. I love that they are open on Sundays! This is a nice and very clean salon. Staff are all very friendly, decor gives is a serene touch. I prefer my nails short and they always make sure to ask if they are short enough. By far the best technician there is ZIN, she's so sweet, very humorous, and listens to what you want as a customer. She did my nails EXACTLY the way I wanted them, didn't try to add her own touch. I've been looking for a great technician and I finally found her!! Super fast and no appointments were needed. Real family type vibe, and I enjoyed myself. They even gave me free water!! As I look at these reviews most are older and out dated. I have tried many Nail Salons in the area, and was pleasantly surprised when I gave this salon a try. Michelle's is a real find. The salon is VERY clean. I was told that the mother-daughter team is new managers here. The pedi chairs are new and very comfy. Prices are competitive for the are, and there is usually no wait. I waited to make sure that each experience was consistent, and after a third positive experience I had to share my review. Additional plus, they do freehand designs. Give them a try!! I've been coming here since high school for my nails and eyebrow waxing. They have the most affordable eyebrow waxing around, and they do a good job. There's no frills, and it's definitely not a full spa experience, but I'm not looking for that on a regular basis. They don't speak a lot of English, but they understand what you want and do a great job. I'm an introvert so I don't mind little to no conversation, and they are efficient and do a beautiful job. I moved to Farmington Hills, but I still come back here any time I need my nails or eyebrows done. read more

Michelles was the place I used to go to get my nails done. I love a good manicurist that will take their time, and do a great job. Their manicures last for at least 3 weeks. I have not had any of my gel nails pop off. I think why I am in the market for a new place is this; I really get offended, when a nail technician talks on the phone, while doing my nails, or to other technicians in a foriegn language as though I am not even there. I find that unprofessional and rude. I am in the market for a new place, that will make me feel welcome, will not sit and talk in a foriegn tongue, making me wonder are they talking about me, since they obviously are not speaking to each other in english, and I wouldn't know if they were talking about me or not. Am I the only one this bothers? I think not. So Michelles is off my list of good places to go. read more

This place is pretty good for a gel fill, and phenomenal for an eyebrow wax. The wax is only $7; I was paying $13 at the mall. And they do a wonderful job with it too, I'll never go anywhere else. The nails were pretty good, not exactly the best but they did just fine. Once in a while I feel like they are rushing me so sometimes I have to say something to them. 1st the lady today was talking on face time when she started taking off my nail polish (RUDE). Then she started grinding on my nails and the friction was burning me because she was hitting MY nail (not the previous acrylic) I told her she was hurting me 3 times, asked the other lady if she could do it--she said "No she can do it" and she burned me AGAIN. I was going to leave and the other lady came over and took over for her----they (of COURSE) began yapping in their language about me (RUDE). And, because she was annoyed at me for not wanting to get tortured--she started jerking my hands around while she worked on my nails (RUDE). I told her I didn't want to argue, I just wanted my nails done. The entire visit couldn't have been worse. read more

I started going to Michele's Nails last year. I had the gentleman I believe Tu did my nails at least 4 times.He did a great job. But every time I return and ask for Tu the ladies ask if I have been there before. Okay granted I change my hair every time I go but he did other nails before me. I was trying to get my nails done for my wedding but I ended with another tech Le.Le did an great job. Today I can't back from honeymoon and I went in they did acknowledged me but they asked a lady in the back holding a child to soak the dip powder off. First everyone knows that dip is not coming off work you filing the top coat off. Ok I sat there soaking anyway nothing coming off. I told the lady holding the child "you know the top coat needs to be filed". They said something to her but at that point I figured they don't want me as a customer. I lefted.. don't know if it was prejudice or you didn't want my business but you should treat customers with respect no matter what color they are. i have gone back here multiple times hoping to have a better experience than the last. this time during my visit they did not grind off all the gel from my previous manicure which i wouldn't mind if they covered it up with the new polish (which they didn't) the clear coat was put on poorly and there is glue on my fingers where they glued on a new acrylic nail that had broken off (i dont think my acrylics should be falling off a week after my manicure). i will be finding a new salon to get my acrylic set done at because for the price of a fill i should leave with my nails looking better than they are. zin is a wonderful nail tech but the other woman not so much read more

This place was horrible. Have been getting my nails done for 16 years an have never be treated with such disrespect. Went for a gel fill. they never took of my clear nail polish you could still see it after they sanded the top. Told them i wanted round tip she made them square, after they filled them they started to pant them i asked them if they were going to put the oil on then have me wash my hands ( this step is done before you paint your nails) an the lady yelled at me for asking an said i dont know what im talking about. And they never used a buffer block to smooth out the top. Felt rushed an got nasty look from the lady when i asked her to fix the shape.Only went here cause it was closer to home.
