Do not go here. right off the bat when i left i noticed my nails were filed uneven, but I'm not peculiar so I didn't bother to walk back in and say anything. But then all my nails started chipping and breaking within three days and this is just very frustrating. This is not the normal salon I go to, so I know this does not happen to me normally. K 90 was great. I got a nail tech right away, she was thorough with my cuticles and prep for shellac. Getting the manicure did not take long, but still a quality service. I prefer shorter experiences at the nail salon, and was able to get in and out with ease, not to mention only paying $25 for a shellac manicure. (Costs $30 if they need to remove shellac on the front end.) Will gladly return! read more

Expensive and not a fan of their work. The massage for the pedi sucked didn't hit any of the right spots at all and no pressure she was just rubbing my legs basically. And as for the polish work she fricken got a piece of lint or hair stuck in the polish, noticed after it dried and was in a hurry so couldn't make her fix it. But if she was paying attention when she was painting my nails she would have seen the lint in the middle of my nail and the polish. read more

Kevin and Lee have done an excellent job of keeping clients separated and safe. They installed hanging plexiglass screens in front of and between all pedi chairs. Masks are required and all stations are disinfected after each use. And, as always, my nails look amazing. I felt comfortable and at ease. Something we all need right now. Just as they were starting my pedicure, the lady in the chair next to mine dropped a bottle of nail polish on the floor. An employee immediately jumped into action, beginning to pour copious amounts on nail polish remover on the floor, right next to my chair. I indicated to my technician several times that the smell was starting to make me sick and covered my nose and mouth with the top of my shirt. As the woman cleaning up continued to pour more and more remover on the floor next to me, I became more woozy. I told my technician, twice, that I can't sit there much longer, and continued to cover my face with my shirt. Finally I had to tell her that I am a cancer patient and, as such I am, 1) Not fond of being around strong chemicals, and; 2) get nauseous easily, and that I was going to have to leave soon if this continues. Finally, I was very dizzy and on the verge of vomiting and jumped out of the chair (before she even started putting on my polish), put on my shoes, went to the door to get air. Everything up until this is a little ridiculous, but one can write it off as a unique situation. It's what they did next that compelled me to write this review... The tech and the man who works there (maybe the owner) immediately jumped down my throat that I should pay them $20 before I leave (remember, I hadn't left the store yet, I was just getting Air at the door) and that I should have told them that I was getting so sick from the smell and that they would have moved me (remember, I told the tech MULTIPLE times). At that point, I was done with them! I told them, there was NO way I was paying them ANYTHING, that they didn't finish my pedicure and made me ill. They fought with me, and I walked out. I was so sick that I ended up laying down in my car for 20 min because I could not drive. I am not sure if there are health department standards for how to clean up a spill in a nail salon, but I am pretty sure that, if there is, it does not involve spilling large bottles of remover on the floor when you have customers in the store. I am also fairly certain that, if you make a customer ill, it is not the best business practice to try and charge them for a job YOU didn't finish! read more

STAY AWAY! WARNING! They use MMA acrylics! It's a type/level of acrylic that's NOT SAFE for cosmetic use. It's used because it's cheaper! They completely ruined my natural nail bed. I knew something was off when the owners wife told me she can make my nails extra thin with out breaking, so I asked another nail tech about it and she told me about MMA vs. EMA. I came in asking for a shellac manicure and a polish change on my toes. The woman who started doing my nails was clearly in a rush and barely paying attention. She didn't wipe down the counter or put a fresh towel over it for me. She put the clear gel coat on a minute after I was in the chair. I was confused by it and asked what she was doing. She said a polish change. By that point, the gel was already dry and I didn't want to have to sit there any longer to wait for it to be removed just to get the service I initially asked for (shellac manicure). She didn't cut down one nail or cuticle. She strictly just painted my nails and called it a day. While my hands were under the light drying, she was on her phone texting. Once the light shut off, she had her phone faced up and was looking at her notifications while doing my nails. The lack of care / effort was shown especially because she didn't try to compensate for the first mistake she made. I've had a normal polish change before. They do not do as much work as a manicure, but they still trim / cut ur nails down to try and make them look a LITTLE more presentable. After that, I got a polish change on my toes. She painted them and walked away without telling me how much my total was or even saying goodbye and thanking me for coming in. She also didn't even mention how long I should sit there for to wait for them to dry. I finally got up and stood at the front desk and had to wait to pay since she was no where to be found. read more

This was not an impressive place at all. The pedicure took 15 minutes, max and didn't include a massage. She basically cut my nails down, applied lotion, then painted. It wasn't relaxing at all. Then the manicure was the same way. When I asked my manicurist why I didn't get a longer or better massage she told me that if I wanted a massage, I should go to a massage parlor. I was really upset once she told me it was $42.00 for a basic mani/pedi. I didn't get any add-ons or special treatments. I wouldn't mind paying this if I felt that I got good service. I have been going to this place on and off for a year. For the most part, I have had average to fairly good service. The place is always overcrowded as they will say 5-10 minutes, but you will likely be waiting over 30 minutes. Do not take your young children there. It's almost like they do not consider little ones (who are with their parents and getting a service) as worthy of human decency. They made my six year old daughter wait for 40 minutes and continually asked her to move from seat to seat (not next to me) for other adult customers who walked in after us-until I finally put my foot down and said this is not okay. Also, daughter wanted a rainbow of colors-each nail painted a different color-on her nails and the owner (I believe, Annie) arbitrarily announced only 3 colors. It was honestly awful customer service. In any event, I figured that they must really be hurting for money and customers and I tipped them beyond and beyond anything that they deserved. Disgusted with the customer service skills of the owners and workers. I was rushed thru my pedicure. They constantly told jokes and referred to a movie as "a black movie", while African American customers were spending their hard earned money in their uncomfortably ran establishment. I didn't like the atmosphere at all. They need an in-service on customer relations and they need to learn how to keep their mouths shut and just do their work. I didn't appreciate them trying to undermine my intelligence and I will never spend my money nor recommend anyone to this joke of a nail spa. Oh yeah... How could I forget... I have been going to K90 Nails for over 13 years, and have always had great service. This is a family owned place and it shows, the technicians stick around for a long time, and they are picky about who they hire when they have an opening. Before coming to K90 I never had good luck before having my gel nails stay on, but they stay on until the next appointment since I've been coming here. Always clean, and the new furnishings since they moved into their new space are really sharp and modern. Highly recommend! read more

I go here every time I'm in town. I always have great service and they are very reasonable. I'm not sure why somebody was charged that much for a mani/pedi, never that much when I get one. My wif and I have been patronizing K 90 every week for a number of years. they are the nicest, most accomodating people adn persons I now consider my friends. Every service is carefully, completely and professionally supplied to many, many repeat customers. Both owners are always present and any special attention is always accomodated. Bothe of us regularly obtain manicures and pedicures and persons of every hue, color, ethnicity and sex are treated equally and with respect. Sometimes these reviews seem to come from competitors rather than patrons and I want to make certain that they not be looked at. read more

It's very disconcerting to have the technicians talking so loudly to one another in their native tongue while totally ignoring their clients. Also, the owner of the salon answers the phone and makes appointments while working on a client. It's all just plain rude. The place could use a redecorating too. It's pretty dusty in there, there are children's stickers all over the front desk (most of which are peeling off - very unsightly) and nail polish in the glass case that is facing the sun is old and no longer the original color. Also, when making an appointment, no matter what time is requested, they are "booked" and they always offer a different time yet when you go in there, they are sitting around chatting. read more
