No one has ever been able to draw on my brows as well as me so when I say I found the best brow artist in Michigan I mean it bcuz I wouldn't let just anyone do this to my face. The technique I had done isn't microblading but, similar in the sense that its semi-permanent, it's called #OmbrePowderBrows. It will darken over time & in 6 weeks I will go for a touch up. It didn't hurt too bad & it lasts for 1-3 years. I HIGHLY recommend LoAnn, she has a GIFT!!! She can just look at your face & know exactly how your brows are meant to look. She takes her time mapping out your brows & makes sure you are happy with them before moving forward. She is extremely professional & a perfectionist. Thankfully, Pauline--the owner--came through. I went back in, and she did some miracle work so I was able to keep my length and get rid of the choppy look. I was going to give one star because I was devastated with the original outcome but Pauline was very kind, and fast with her response and solution and handled the situation with grace and the salon deserves some love. On 3/30/24, "B" had turned my hair charcoal/green. She ended up leaving the salon without an apology or a goodbye. The owner and manager offered to try to "fix" my hair. After taking the toner out, the owner tried to gaslight me into thinking that I "must have had" red hair at one point - I have not - because she was pulling red/pink out of my hair. They redid my highlights and toner to "fix" the pink, and after 8 hours, it was "done." They charged me over $200 for "product" expenses. I naively paid. When I got home, I realized my hair was very dry & frizzy. Not the normal I'm used to. A few days later, a bridal stylist noticed that my hair was very damaged & still pink from Salon & Co. I DMed the owner, Kenzie, to get a refund so I could go get my hair fixed. She refused. "No refunds." After some back and forth, she said she would no longer talk to me over DM. On 4/9/24, I went to the salon to show her my damaged/pink hair and to ask for a refund. I also showed her pictures of my hair quality from before, and what I had initially asked for on 3/30/24 compared to what I had been given. I asked her what she would do if she was me. She became angry and defensive. She acknowledged that my hair is not what I asked for, but that they still would not refund me. She then kicked me out of the salon (almost wouldn't let me grab my belongings either) & blocked me on social media.
