FINALLY! I've wanted to find a permanent brow solution since my mid-teens. I've been searching FOREVER for the perfect artist in Michigan & finally found her a couple weeks ago. No one has ever been able to draw on my brows as well as me so when I say I found the best brow artist in Michigan I mean it bcuz I wouldn't let just anyone do this to my face. The technique I had done isn't microblading but, similar in the sense that its semi-permanent, it's called #OmbrePowderBrows. It will darken over time & in 6 weeks I will go for a touch up. It didn't hurt too bad & it lasts for 1-3 years. I HIGHLY recommend LoAnn, she has a GIFT!!! She can just look at your face & know exactly how your brows are meant to look. Loann is amazing. I had both mircroblading and eyelashes extension here and I love them all. Eyelash extensions: She uses silky lashes I believe so they are very light and soft. I prefer natural look and she gave me what I wanted. Very natural and cute. They also last very long time. It has been a month since I got the extensions and they still look okay. I mean some lashes fall out but that's unavoidable. I feel like I can have these lashes on for another week or so. The price is reasonable too compared to other places Microblading : I was hesitant to do microblading at first. I had to reschedule once because I was too nervous it might hurt or turn out not good as I want. However, IT DOESN'T HURT AT ALL. She put on the numbing cream and leave them in for 20 minutes before she started microblading my brows. Compared to waxing or brow threading, this is nothing guys ! If you can do waxing, you can do this. The reveal looked good. It was a little bit darker than I want but she said don't judge the brows after 1 month or so after the healing. Now, I am on Day 10, all the flakes had been fell off and the color is so lovely. Maybe a little bit light but it will get darker overtime for sure. But the shape is definitely perfect. My experience here was overall great. I decided to get my brows microbladed to correct unevenness in anticipation of my wedding and honeymoon. Big day and lots of photos! I didn't want to deal with makeup in a tropical destination and wasn't sure if I could trust the hired makeup artist at 3am so I put my faith in LoAnn for this semi permanent procedure. I was very hesitant but was reassured by her that I would be able to have this done (including the touch up appointment) and healed up for my wedding timeline. Her maticulous preparation of measuring and drawing for the perfect shape to compliment my face really set me at ease. LoAnn and I talked a bit about expectations for the procedure, recovery, and end results. PROCEDURE: She did a great job numbing me up. Personally, I found the whole process to be pretty relaxing except for the shading part. That was slightly uncomfortable but not horrible. You can take an over the counter pain reliever but first check in with LoAnn on what to use. you will need to be mindful the week or two before your procedures as to what you're putting in your body. RECOVERY: After eah session, my eye brows appeared to be drawn on with permanent marker but it's only temporary! I have very light skin and very dark hair. I was prepared for this. If you work face to face with clients or something like that, you may choose to have an end of the week appt and take a few days off from work before you return. I rarely SEE client in my office face to face so no big deal for me. My coworkers and fiance were taken aback though. RESULTS: Because of my combination skin and choices of facial products, my end result months later ended as more of a shaded, filled brow look which I'm totally fine with. It looks like perfect make up without any effort at all. Every beauty professional (hair, make up, nails, etc) I worked with after this procedure have commented on how perfect my brows are. I also didn't realize how horribly I was filling them in until I met LoAnn. LoAnn was punctual, VERY detail oriented, & so sweet. After 10 days of eyebrows microblading my eyebrows look lighter and thinner. I don't even notice it once it's scabbing. I'm not sure because of her technical or because of my skin. But I do know that I love them. I don't even use any eyebrow pencil or powder since I got it done. It's not completely heal yet so I will keep another update when it healed. But again I really love them and enjoy more time to lay on my bed in the morning because I know that it will be faster for me to get ready. I just got my eyebrows microshaded 2 days ago and I am in love! LoAnn was very professional, and after looking at how I do my makeup, and asking some questions for how I wanted the final effect to look, she suggested microshading for me instead of microblading, which is what I originally said I wanted. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in making sure your eyebrows look perfect. Do yourself a favor and listen to what she suggests! LoAnn is amazing! She took the time to answer questions and make sure my eyebrows would be perfect. I was expecting it to be painful, but she numbs the area with a cream first. She also takes steps to make you feel extremely comfortable, and gives great details on care for best results while healing. I'd pay just about any price for great eyebrows (especially considering it's potentially permanent and on your face!) I was please to find her prices are extremely fair and include touch up!
