I've own some of HoMedics' products over the years, but randomly I've been "obsessed" with their fountains lol. Always look forward to new models to add to my collection like their latest one with the tropical leaves exterior. read more

This company has the worst Customer Service I've ever dealt with! Bought a vaporizer from Costco and a couple months later water all drained out of the bottom! After multiple attempts to contact the company, they failed to resolve the issues! Returned it to Costco for a full refund! I will never buy a a Homedics product ever again! The company SUCKS!! read more

I LOVE my HoMedics/Homedics brand mini PEMF device. It takes a single lithium ion "coin" battery, and can be worn in a wristband OR simply tucked into a pocket. I bought my two (yes, I own two) from an English seller on eBay, as Homedics isn't marketing this in the United States just yet. The device is easy to use and VERY lightweight. read more

I purchased a Ellia essential oil diffuser and I find it to be of extremely high quality. Pumps a large volume of mist, has a good selection of lights, can play music, and looks aesthetically pleasing. My only complaint is that the glass cover its difficult to clean. read more

Unacceptable customer service! I have ordered 6 UV air purifiers and a UV light sanitation bag from Homedics this year. 2 of the units came in the mail not functioning (the UV function wasn't working, which is why I purchased the product). I had them mailed to my workplace, because my home isn't a safe place to mail items to. Two customer service representatives insinuated that I was trying to sell these items because I had purchased so many and it was being sent to a business address. Because of this, they wanted me to spend $50 more dollars to send the unit back, because they do not pay for shipping for sent back items, even if they don't work! To have spent $250 per machine already, and to be asked to spend another $50 to ship an item that I received in non-working condition is UNACCEPTABLE. They claim I was red flagged because I had purchased so many items. What I take from this is that I will not purchase any more items from this company that treats customers that order higher volumes with terrible customer service. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. read more

Wonderful company this facility really knows how to put together a product. They have great teams in each department and provide help to all customers. Give them a call if you are ever in need of a massager. read more

I received the homedics stretching mat as a gift. It was mailed from a family member. The item was defective so since I couldnt return it I decided to do a warranty claim. It took 2 weeks to get an email reply , because the phone number listed leaves you on hold over 60 minutes before I would finally hang up. Once I received a reply I replied immediately and then again 4 days before they replied. Fast forward 4 weeks later they send me a label to return . I return it and 14 days later i find out its lost in transit so i call homedics again and an hour later they answer and say they wont file a claim for 30 days. So,I have to wait 30 days for a claim to be filed then who knows how long for me to receive mt warranty replacement. This company will never get another penny of my money Yelp should give a zero star option I read more

I have a hmc 500 massage chair bought it a few years ago from ABC warehouse, it has made a popping noise like a slip since new, called the company for warranty service never got service, well it is no longer under warranty trying to find parts to fix and cannot find any through the company, far as I am concerned I will never buy anything made by this company again, anyone thinking of buying anything from them think twice. read more

Purchased a back massager and used it for about a month when it burned two holes in my back. Called HoMedics and was sent a label to return. Sent it back next day 07-20-2023 and called today and was told they just logged it into their system today 08-07-2023. Now I'm told they have sent it to quality control to find out how it malfunctioned and I just have to wait for the process to be completed. Stay as far away from this company as possible as they are very slow to respond and now I feel like they are questioning me about my claim. I sent pictures in the return as I was instructed and the first representative showed empathy but the second one showed absolutely no emotion, or compassion. The company is useless and I will advise every one to not purchase from this company. They do not stand by their product. read more

I ordered a replacement filter from this company on 6/19. They received the order and payment for order. I on the other hand never received my order. In contacting this company regarding this matter, they refused to help me by either sending me a refund or a replacement order. Fed Ex had the proof of this and told them to call them. They did not. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with, and if you thing I am exaggerating, read the reviews on BBB.org. All the complaints seem similar That can't be a coincidence . I would never purchase anything from this company again. I would advise everyone to read the BBB.org complaints to protect yourself from what we have all gone through with this company. Save yourselves. read more

Garbage company. Their website inaccurately describes shipping. They have no number to call. You email and they do not respond. Then when you get the wrongly-timed shipment, they do give you a number, and they refuse to make good on their own mistakes. Other companies make air purifiers and have customer service. Update: they also manipulate the reviews on their own website. They asked me to post, I was critical, and they wrote me to tell me they would not post a critical review: "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time! Submit something new Thanks again, HoMedics Ugh The product is a nice filter and a fan. But the customer service to get you to that product is terrible. They take their sweet time getting it together to ship even if you have paid for priority shipping. They make mistakes in the orders. They send you things you don't want and the things that you do want are sent too late. read more

I ordered two items. One arrived. When the other item hadn't arrived four days later, I contacted the company to ask where it was. They said to take it up with Fed Ex since they claimed to have delivered it. I told them I immediately brought in the one item and assumed the other would arrive later. HOMEDICS has done nothing to help resolve the issue. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and advise no one else does. Terrible customer service. read more

I live in Israel and have been an old and loyal Homedics customer for over 10 years, buying their lower-back-support and foot-bath products. Whenever I needed repairs Homedics referred me to their Israeli distributors, who said they could no repair them and forced me to buy new products. Ten days ago I wrote the company about a problem with my foot bath. They sent me an automatic reply saying, "Representatives are working as quickly as possible to ensure your inquiry will be responded to, in the order they are received. We are here to ensure that your Homedics product is working to your satisfaction." Since then nothing, zilch. I have e-mailed them twice more but they have ignored my messages. read more

Getting a gift from my mother, I was happy to receive a QRM-400H quad roller back massaging cushion. I thought I might really help me with my back and neck pain. I am not really writing about a faulty designed product but to the credibility of the company that sells the product. I decided to try the massager that when used; groaned like a sick seal that preferred to be slaughtered. I really had hoped this product was an improvement over a cheaper model 300 shiastu model for 99 dollars at most stores. I actually enjoyed the cheaper model as it seem to work fine. Anyway I wanted to all the Yelpers out there my experience with the company website. Upon completing my evaluation of the QRM-400H on Homedics website my evaluation was flagged. Not because of fowl language but for honestly evaluating the product and suggesting the cheaper model. So the story to all the Yelpers out there, is to not look toward the Homedics website to get honest product ratings. In fact take a look at the Homedics website and you will see: http://www.homedics.com/products/massage/back-massage-cushions/therapist-select-quad-roller-massaging-cushion-with-heat.html Out of 16 reviews currently there isn't really one negative review. Now contrast this with real world reviews such as below. http://www.amazon.com/review/product/B000QTSVWO So Yelpers out there, if I am lying then all Amazon consumers are lying, just look at the Amazon review stats. Funny thing the perfect 5 star rating does not exist with Amazon and yet Homedics reviews are 5 star only. Am I to think that Homedics are run by politicians or attorneys? Sorry politicians and attorneys I didn't mean to compare you to a unscrupulous manufacturer...or did I? I hope my mom kept the receipt so I can return this piece of crap. 12/17/08 My mother bought me the 99 dollar massager from costco today. sbm-305. It is so much better than the more expensive 400 model and so much less money. read more

I had a Homedics humidifier for about a year, and due to my own over zealous cleaning, it stopped working. I called them to see if there was any warranty coverage, and they sent me a brand new unit, no questions asked. I have rarely experienced any company actually standing behind it's product, particularly when the malfunction was caused by the consumer. I am most impressed with them! read more

Do not purchase from this company. I will never buy another product from them. Their customer service is the worst. You get a different answer every time you call and they are rude. Not the way to treat customers. I wish I never bought their product. read more

I bought a Jam Transit Fitness Buds - Bluetooth at BestBuy. The product started peeling off its reflective coating with normal use, and it failed barely after the BestBuy return policy had expired (BestBuy did not want to deal with the exchange.) I contacted Homedics, and they replaced the defective item with another defective item. I called them back, and they gave me a return number and a mailing label to return the product for ANOTHER replacement. Now, after more than a month, they claim they have not received the item even though the tracking number indicates that FEDEX picked the item on time. Product sucks +customer service sucks = money lost. Image available upon request. read more

BEWARE! Bought a Homedics model FMS400 foot and leg massager. It squeeze the leg and foot so tightly that it was painful. This is more a torture devise than a massage. I returned the machine which cost $200 to Homedics at a cost of another $65.42. They refuse to reimburse me for the return cost thereby victimizing me twice. The representative when I called was curt with a don't give a damn attitude. I warn anyone not to do business with Homedics. ZERO STARS read more

I'm updating my review about the TotalComfort Personal Humidifier I had such a problem with. Finally I received a replacement unit yesterday. Between the delays on the customer service end, and problems with delivery address, I finally received a replacement unit yesterday, set it up and it seems to be working fine, so far. I really like the style and size and look of this humidifier, which is small and sits on my side table where it fits well in limited space and has a nice design. However, I am still unhappy with customer service--the delays in responding, poor communication, etc. and it seems to me if I complained about this product not working in mid-September, I don't see why I had to wait until February 10, 2020 to receive a new unit. That is inordinately long to me between the time of the original complaint and the amount of time it took to receive a replacement, including several attempts to communicate with customer service to no avail, or I had to wait 2 weeks or longer to hear back from them. read more

Terrible Consumer Relations! After placing an order with HoMedics (Order ID #2060005080) I was asked to provide a review. I placed the order on 11/4 (Wednesday) at 2:28pm (ET) and paid $25 for 1-2 Business Day delivery (their website says: Most orders leave our warehouse the same day if they're ordered before 3pm ET Monday through Friday). I received an acknowledgment for the order and then received a follow-up email on 11/4 (Wednesday) at 2:32pm (ET) that the order was awaiting pickup. The order was not delivered until 11/9 (Monday)--which would be 3 Business Day delivery. I submitted a request to Consumer Relations asking for a refund of the $25 paid for 1-2 Business Day delivery since it actually took 3 business days to deliver. I received a response from Consumer Relations (Chelsea) and she initially said that I placed the order on Thursday (she thought 11/4 was Thursday--hard to imagine since 11/3 was election day and everyone knows it was on Tuesday) and I responded to Consumer Relations and corrected them about 11/4 actually being Wednesday--not Thursday) about how to read a calendar. Consumer Relations (Chelsea) then responded that since I didn't place the order until 2:53pm (ET) on 11/4 (Wednesday) the order didn't get picked up until 11/5 so the delivery on 11/9 would be the 2nd Business Day--even though emails sent to me by HoMedics clearly indicated the order was placed at 2:28pm (ET) and ready for pickup at 2:32pm (ET). I have not heard back from HoMedics from my last response back to Consumer Relations. I can only conclude that HoMedics has an integrity/ethics problem and will attempt to say anything to not own up to the fact they screwed up and did not meet their own policy so as not to have to refund the cost of expedited shipping by their consumer--me. I have read similar complaints from others on various Review sites so I am obviously not the exception--so I can only assume the refusal to refund the expedited shipping is a company policy even though they clearly screwed up. I can only assume that John Wettlaufer (Manager Consumer Relations) must approve of this Consumer Relations approach to handling of these issues. Update--just received email from HoMedics that is another indicator of how HoMedics handles complaints and criticism and did not post my review (what a surprise!): Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing, and we hope to publish next time! read more

I ordered 2 uv bags and got notice of shiping with tracing # , but for last 5 days it stated usps still waiting for packages. It was promissed delivery with 5-7 days, it's over 10 days and nothing. No respond from custumer service on my emails, phone is not connected to any representative, but i got today email asking for review. I understand difficultly timing now, but if no one working in this company , why to take order and charge money if you are not planing to work. I feel terrible because i recomended this site based on previous review to my friends and they placed order also and no product, no respond. This company is bad Business or fraud . I will have to dispute charges with my credit card. Similar prodact available on amazon cheaper, but it was longer delivery. I don't recomend this company, be aware you will pay for product you will not get and customer service not exists. read more

I am writing to warn customers that 1) Homedics products are prone to being defective and 2) their customer support is (as far as I can tell) non-existent. I ordered a SMB-300HC model shiatsu massage chair directly from their website. After using it for about 10 minute it just ceased working. The power went out and I could not turn it on again. Ever. The funny thing is, this was not the first time I had encountered this problem; I had previously purchased another Model Homedics massage chair that I brought overseas. It had exactly the same problem: stopped working after a few minutes of use. But what really irked me was the lack of response when I called in to try to get them to pay for shipping costs (which they guarantee for defective products). After calling five time, waiting at least 10 minutes on hold each time, I left three separate voice mails with detailed callback information. Not once did they call me back. I just sent them an e-mail inquiry; hopefully they will respond. Bottom line: shoddy products, shoddy service. read more

Seems as if I jumped the gun a bit on Homedics. Thanks in part to my Yelp review, the company contacted me and sent me a new unit. It's been in use now for a few weeks, and man what a difference. I breathe much better especially when sleeping at night. My thanks to Homedics for rectifying the problem, recognizing their mistake, or perhaps the miscommunications with their rep, and for making it better. Homedics stands behind their products, one of the true measures of a good company. Thanks, Homedics. read more

My Homedics percussion massager had sparks, black smoke and flames come out of the base of the unit at the cord and burned my shirt and me. I saw that they had similar problems with some of their massagers and had a recall on some models on their website. I emailed them with no response and when I called I was told that my model was not part of the recall and was a discontinued product and that they would only be able to offer me a 30% discount off their website. I told them I was burned,my shirt was burned and I don't have a massager anymore and wanted a comparable massager and they would still only offer me a 30% discount. I will never purchase another product from this company. Not only do the have unsafe products but also poor customer service! read more

Twice, I bought a blood pressure cuff. The warrant is no good. The second time, I kept the bill since it was warranted for 5 yrs. When it recorded 20+ points above my doctors cuff (2 different drs.) I called customer service about the warranty, since Walgreens said they have nothing to do with warranties. I was told I could have a replacement after returning the defective one but did not get a replacement since both my doctors said Homedics is not a reliable cuff & told me to buy another brand. They offered other products, none of which I needed & refused any refund. I was also out the cost of mailing it back to them. read more

I purchased 2 homedics 300 thread count gusseted lux loft toppers for the beds. They were used for 1 week and when we went to take them off to wash them, they were all torn up underneath and all the stuffing was coming out of them. This was a terrible product and a waste of money. When I tried contacting the company through email, it took a while for them to respond. They told me it is better to contact them by phone. Which I did. When I explained the problem to the representative, he told me to send pictures of them and also stated they do not make toppers anymore. I sent the pictures and it has been 2 months and still no answer from them. Products maybe good but their customer service in the UK is top of the range RUBBISH. Mrs bought 2 of the same product by mistake and I have been trying to get a returns code for 1 of them (Unopened box) and they cant generate a return code for 3 weeks now. Maybe they should give up on relaxation products and concentrate on latest technology in communications. I mean - how hard it is to give me a return code for the product I do not want?
