Being new residents to MI from SoCal we were wanting to get pedicures. After reading several reviews we chose NK Nails, made an appointment and got right in the next day. The salon was clean, the staff were really friendly and the conversation was great. Our pedicures were wonderful and the pricing was very reasonable. We will be back and do recommend you give them a try. BTW, there are two or three restaurants next door should you want something to eat before or after your appointment here.
Wonderful service! Literally the friendliest nail salon I've ever visited! Lindsay was kind, patient and made my neglected nails look beautiful! The vibe is calm and makes you feel relaxed. Can't wait to come back for a fill!
They're formally Nailtopia II. My sister and I had appointments for pedicures on a Saturday morning. I'm so glad we had appointments because they were busy! I really liked their check-in process. You use your phone number to check in on a tablet and have the option to select a preferred employee or just select "next available". Very convenient! Staff is always so so friendly! They even remembered us from 6 months ago (but maybe that means we're too memorable... oops). The staff is ready and willing to chat but at the same time allowed us to have our own personal conversations amongst ourselves. The pedicures were PERFECTION. The warm water was soothing, the leg massage and scrub was just what I needed! Everything was clean, and thoroughly professional. This is our go-to spot for nails and while I do not go often, I'm so thankful to find a place I love!
Recently moved to Michigan from Texas, and have been holding off finding a nail salon because the choices in the area are so overwhelming! So many places to choose from but not sure which one is the best? Look no further than NK Nails & Spa! I called after hours on a Friday and wanted to set up an appointment for the following day (Saturday) for a pedicure. A friendly woman picked up and was super courteous despite the after-hours call. She took my info and I was set in less than 10 minutes! I arrived a couple minutes early for my appointment. I was greeted and told to pick out a color. After 3-5 minutes of waiting, my manicurist came out promptly and on time. She set me up on a chair and started to soak my feet. I was given a menu of pedicure options and chose my soak salt and foot mask scent. Their options are extensive and I opted for a fruity smelling one. It did not disappoint! Very refreshing scent - perfect for spring! My manicurist, Tiffany, was sweet and talked to me a bit. She could tell I wanted to relax and watch my show on my phone, so she remained silent after we made small talk. I appreciated that - she was attentive without being overbearing. Our silence was comfortable and she didn't make it awkward. She cleaned my cuticles well and the foot scrub left my feet super soft! My only complaint is that the massage was a bit on the weak side, but I'll just request more pressure the next time around. My toes turned out perfect and I left very relaxed and satisfied. The salon is clean and spacious. Tiffany was awesome and I'll definitely return!
I had the nicest nail artist who took her time, was very kind and the first place to really take care of my hangnails rather than getting worse. I also came in showing a picture for inspiration and left with exactly what I wanted which never happens I feel like. Definitely a place worth becoming a regular at.
This was one of the best nail salon experiences i've ever had. staff did an incredible job, they took the time to understand exactly what i wanted and executed it perfectly, and also gave suggestions that elevated my nails. it was a clean, comfortable and efficient environment with respectful, talented employees who genuimanly cared about the results of my nails. i couldn't be more please with my experienice.
This is my first time writing a review but after my experience here I had to download this app and give this place some love and credit they deserve. I came here with my sister as a new walk-in for a mani, pedi, and fill. We were taken care of right away. The environment is very friendly comfortable and peaceful. You can tell all the employees were friends and they gave that same energy to their customers. They really took a lot of care and their time with us and our nails turned out beautiful. Very good at shaping, which is what I love in a good salon. The massage was also heavenly. Thank you so much. If you're looking for a place to get beautiful nails at a fair price, prefer to chat or to just enjoy being quiet and comfortable in a great environment, come here!
Excellent service! Just like the reviews claim! I'm new in the area and looking for my new "home" for my nails lol and I initially called to see if I could just walk in, and while they allow it they prefer to call ahead to better accommodate and they did that! I called, they said they didn't have openings so that was that. But, a bit later they actually called me back saying there was a cancellation and took me! Initially I only had time for one service but while I was there, they found they had more time and squeezed me in for more! All while ensuring the quality of their work was excellent! No rushing, no skipping steps! My nails look great and I am very please. Absolutely coming back!

This nail salon is AWESOME. It was recently renovated and is now under new management. The salon is very modern and chic. Everything they use is new, clean, and / or sterilized in an autoclave. The pedicure chairs are lined with new liners after every client and disposed of when done. They have a wide variety of both regular and gel polishes. Everyone is trained in gel manicures and pedicures. If you want to get acrylics, I highly suggest booking an appointment with Linda before hand, otherwise you'll be out of luck. It's in a small plaza off Franklin and Telegraph, if you blink you'll miss it. Make sure you have cash for tipping, their credit card machine doesn't accept tips.
I am so pleased with the manicure (shellac) Calvin gave me at Nailtopia II. In the past year, I've had some pretty poor quality manicures that have made me leery of even getting another. But I thought I'd try just one more, and I'm so happy with the results! Here's why the manicure is so great: 1) Calvin made sure to remove all of my cuticle, something manicurists haven't done in the past, which has resulted in the polish peeling up from the bottom. 2) He made sure the surface of the polish was perfect, no bubbles as often happens, and evenly applied. 3) He did a great job shaping my nails. 4) I often get anxiety when getting my nails done because of how rough the manicurist is, often making me bleed, but Calvin did none of these things. 5) I waited a couple of days to post this review just to make sure nothing came up (my last manicure turned from purple to green within a day), and my nails still look as flawless as they first did. All in all, it was a great experience, and I feel like my money was well spent on this manicure. It's in the top two - if not first - of the manicures I've gotten. I've already recommended this salon to my friends, and I definitely plan on going back myself!

Just moved back to the area and was looking for a nice friendly and clean place. I walked into a few nail and spa places near Waterford and walked out due to unpleasant greetings and places seemed grungy. I was recommended this place by a friend who has high standards for cleanliness. So I decided to give this place a try. When walking in I was greeted right away by friendly voices. I was in for a mani pedi with a clear coat. After my travels I needed a little self care. Donna was the one who helped me with services. She was friendly, kind, and great conversationalist. I was impressed with the options of pedi massage scents and how clean this place was. It was great hearing the fresh tools being opened. Place was well lit and it was a great experiences. Prices also were not bad. read more

I had the nicest nail artist who took her time, was very kind and the first place to really take care of my hangnails rather than getting worse. This place is literally amazing!!!! I was a little late and literally they just texted and said drive safe. So clean and the massage chairs while you get a pedicure were amazing. My nails were done so well I got a full set and they all were light and looked so cute. Offered me drinks and has really good products!!!! I would recommend this to anyone who wants their feet and hands done right. read more

I have been getting my nails done here since the summer and have had a great experience every time. My nails look great and no issues with peeling. They have a great polish selection, lots of opi. Highly recommend! read more

This is by far the best nail place I've gone to! My nails are always the perfect shape and my acrylic nails last for over 3 weeks with gel polish and zero chipping. They are easy to get into for an appointment last minute during the week and are very clean. It's a very nice, laid back atmosphere and they don't try to pressure you into getting tons of stuff done like other salons do. I love that they have so many colors to choose from for polish and they even have a rewards program. Amber and Kalvin are really great! read more

I stopped here on my lunch for a fill and was seen right away. I am new to the area and looking for a new nail tech so I decided to try this place. The girl who did my nails was quick and efficient (I forgot to ask her name) but she did a pretty good job and was friendly and seemed really knowledgeable. The prices were a little higher than what I'm used to for what you get but still pretty standard ($17 for an acrylic fill). I'd definitely go back again the next time I need a quick fill. read more

Since moving here it's been a long journey finding a good nail tech, but the search is finally over! Tiffany at NK is meticulous and amazing. The salon itself is clean and they've definitely made an effort to be safe during COVID. I will definitely be back. read more

This place is really nice and clean, since they remodeled recently. I came here since they do a really pretty pink or nude ombré. I would recommend them for a set or a long lasting natural looking manicure. I recently saw the girl next to me with a beautiful subtle French mani on her long natural nail and she said with the way they do it it does hold up. Nice that men feel comfortable coming here too I noticed. TV is great to have, while you wait. They do promotions like holiday sales and a reward system. read more
