I left a former stylist at another salon after 10 years. He has taken me from basic to chic & my hair is getting healthier each time we meet. Dennis introduced me to Baliage which I've never had done before, creating a beautiful look. His own personal style is perfection and I love chatting with him. Dennis is totally focused when working on any client's hair. He ensures I look my best as I leave the salon, in fact his blowouts last me 4 days. I think Dennis is the best and I am blessed to have found him. Secondly, I'd like to compliment Manicurist Anahid. She is lovely and has such an attention to detail. Got the best hair cut I've had in YEARS here. I think I've finally found my new stylist in Lori Beth. Admittedly I'm kind of lazy when it comes to my hair. I don't really like doing it (and when it's fine and stick straight there isn't a whole lot to DO anyway) and I like going and getting it cut even less. So I've avoided really finding a new stylist because that would require me to actually go and get a cut. BUT. My aunt's hair always looks really cute post a trip here to Liquid and so when I was finally ready to chop off about 5 inches of hair for the summer I asked for the salon's info from her and therefore got in touch with Lori Beth. Hallelu! I made the decision rather quickly. I called on a Wednesday afternoon for a Thursday appointment. Thankfully she had an opening first thing when she got in the next day. I zipped down there (a bit of a pain since Telegraph has construction going on from 12-Maple FYI) and made it there with some time to spare. My brows were a little scary so I asked if they had someone on hand who could clean them up for me a bit. And so Ana came into my life. Ana is fabulous! Nary a stray hair, no nicks, no pulled skin. Nothing. She made it so painless I barely flinched. She put her hand on my hand and said "you are so good!" I was only good, Ana, because YOU'RE so good! And the brows look fabulous. Lori Beth then came over, gave me a good shampoo, talked over what I wanted to do with my hair (I brought her a pic of the last short haircut I had that I liked--that helped) and we went over to make it happen. She was sweet and chatted with me about myself, asking questions but not being overly chatty either. I've had a few stylists who want to just talk the whole time which I don't necessarily mind but it was nice to have a little "me" time in that chair. About a half hour later I had the more adorable bob with 5 inches of my hair on the floor. I love it SO SO much! A little shorter than I had anticipated but I think she knew that length would work for me. Ahh, I'm in love! The salon itself is really nice and clean. Nothing huge or overly fancy but it's a nice modern salon with fabulous make up and hair products for sale. In addition to waxing and hair you can also get a make-up sesh to make you feel even more gorgeous. I'm thinking going to the salon might not be so painful in the future after all! read more

Had a facial by Tanya and it was amazing. Tanya just has the magic touch and used holistic products that specifically addressed my skin concerns. I have combination skin and it can be difficult to decongest and hydrate at the same time. Rather than doing painful extractions she used a small hand device that stimulated a gentle electrical current that completely removed my black heads so my skin wasn't left irritated. It's sad when women can't support each other due to jealousy and lack of self-confidence. However, the niceness of my stylist (Lori Beth), and the overall friendliness of everyone there, made me happy. I came here for a manicure seeing that the salon had a five star rating. They might be great for hair and makeup, but it was the worst manicure I've ever gotten. I typically pay $15-20 for a manicure and the ones here are $28. The lady who did my nails was very nice and pleasant to talk to, but her work was sloppy. My cuticles weren't cleaned properly and my nail color was applied very unevenly. When she said she was done there was nail polish all over my skin. I asked her to clean it up and she did do a few times but still couldn't seem to remove all the nail polish around my nails. I asked her to fix a finger with uneven coloring and she tried to but it didn't work. I wish I had just bought the nail polish and done the manicure myself. Would have saved me time and money. read more
