She knows what she is doing and is very gentle. Additionally, she is not overly aggressive. She takes off exactly what needs to be removed. The next day I got my hair and make up done. Albano is originally from Molan and asked what I wanted and I asked for his recommendation and he did an awesome job and did not do my traditional style but blow dried the hair straight whoch gave me a more modern look. My make up was done by an artist who is originally from Albania. I think she is there on the weekends only. She was amazing. I was the last client of the day and she did not rush and made sure everything was perfect before sending me on my way.

He even helped me add my sister-in-law to the schedule the day before the wedding so she wouldn't feel left out. He made sure everything ran smoothly and that we had coffee, water, and anything else we needed. Todd's Room made getting ready one of the most joyful, stress-free parts of my wedding day. Not only did I hire her and her team for my wedding, but I went to her countless times leading up to the wedding (and since then, until COVID hit) for all of her amazing services. She is incredibly talented in so many different areas. Makeup is obvious - she is a genius when it comes to makeup. I also visit her monthly for her incredible "glow facial" - which leaves my face feeling renewed, refreshed and literally glowing. She is an eyebrow expert, and I always make the trek from where I live in Ann Arbor, to Birmingham, just to get my eyebrows done. She also offers microblading, which I highly recommend! All of her services are reasonably priced, and her skills are limitless. Not only is she a wedding make-up artist, but I have also had my makeup done by Barbara for other special occasions, or just a regular night out. I also hired Barbara as a "stay through stylist" at my wedding. Instead of just doing my makeup (and my wedding party), I hired her for the entire day/night to style my photos, touch up everyone before / during / after photos and stay with me through the ceremony and into the party. This is an unbelievable service that she offers, and because of her, my wedding photos were even more beautiful! After an extremely emotional ceremony, I was in serious need of a touch up before the party and am so glad Barbara was there to fix me up and freshen my make-up. She has over 20 years' experience as a wedding photo stylist and helped style every one of my photos (including my first look). Her attention to detail is unmatched, and I am so grateful for all of her help and hard work on my wedding day. Lastly, Deyo for Face and Body is an incredibly beautiful space in downtown Birmingham. It is a private studio / salon that is so relaxing, impeccably clean and very well organized. It is half spa/salon and half gorgeous boutique with quite a large retail offering. Every time I visit, I always end up purchasing something from the boutique section. She has a beautiful selection of purses/clutches, jewelry, accessories, and of course her full line of make-up, skin care and beauty products. I use all of her skin care products at home and love the makeup. I even purchased make up kits to give to my bridesmaids as part of their gift for being in my wedding. To sum up - I HIGHLY recommend and encourage you to go to Deyo Face and Body. You will be so happy you did. I am so grateful that I met Barbara - she is such a wonderful person and friend and I am so impressed by her amazing business. Michigan, etc. I see she has good reviews so I trusted her. She did a full "dramatic" set on my virgin lashes. During the application my eyes were burned from fumes coming from the lash glue. She mentioned using a different glue then continued, instead using a fan to blow air on my face. When I left my eyes were sensitive and swollen. A few days later my eyes stopped watering and I liked the look of the lashes. One week later I had lost several of my own lashes and extensions, which were now falling out in clumps. Megan refused to correct her work and became confrontational. In fact, this was her reply: "I think all of this is to get some type of refund which is why I'm not going to waste my time or yours with other glues." I'm writing this review because it's been a few months and I have been to a real professional remove and replace them with a weeks rest in between. We both noticed she had applied (glued) one extension to several lashes, clumping them together. This shortcut resulted in my loosing several lashes when the extensions fell off. I do not recommend Megan for lash extensions. Perhaps she is better with Makeup, I don't know. However, I do know from my own experience that there are other lash professionals who stand behind their work and know how to apply the lashes correctly to achieve a beautiful result with minimal damage to your natural lashes. Update: I'm still seeing the same lash artist who fixed my lashes after Megan's mishap. My lashes have since grown back and are looking beautiful with the addition of extensions. Whenever I have fallout or any issues at all I'm able to book a repair between appointments. No problems. No excuses. No selfies. I will let Megan's response speak for itself.

She is such a sweet person and an incredibly talented makeup artist. She 100% listened to what I was looking for and any concerns I had, and above all, made me look like my best self! I also loved that she uses variety of different makeup brands so you're not all just one specific counter (a couple people recommended to stay away from MAC for my wedding since it tends to be more dramatic and that's not what I was going for). Megan's pricing was also really reasonable and it included everything - full face, eyelashes (in my opinion, a MUST!) and airbrushing. We had a total of 10 girls (including me, my mom and my groom's mom), so she brought an assistant with her as well and they were both amazing! They arrived on time and stayed with us until we all looked gorgeous. ALL of my girls (and my VERY picky M-I-L) are still talking about how good they looked! Thank you so much, Megan!!!

I live on the other side of the state, but having fine, sparse brows, I put in some research to find the best place to go to for a good shaping. MASQ kept popping up and after reading the reviews, I booked my appointment. The woman I talked to on the phone was so friendly and accommodating. Great first impression. The shop itself is a small window front nestled in a row of shops, but very open and pretty on the inside. Heads up, the door is located in what looks like a little space or alley between shops...that confused me for a moment. There were a couple of girls at the desk and all of them greeted me when I walked in. For the life of me I can't remember who did my brows (I'm calling back tomorrow to get her name) but she did an absolutely amazing job! It was as painless as getting your brows done can possibly be, and very natural looking. She even filled in my brows (after asking me if I'd like that first, which I appreciated) and the effect was very subtle but polished. I wasn't wearing any other makeup so I was pleased they looked like my own brows instead of clean face and BROWS (if you know what I mean). I couldn't be happier that I chose to go to MASQ. It is two hours away from where I live but totally worth planning a day to come to the east side to me. I will definitely be returning and now can't imagine going any other place! read more

I was referred to summerita from my sister in laws husband. Finally, makeup /brow artists that get my eyebrows right! MASQ Beauty is definitely the place to go if you want PERFECT eyebrows. I've tried so many other spas/salons, even upscale and expensive ones, but no one ever got my eyebrows the way I envisioned them to be - until I visited MASQ Beauty. Marisa, the artist, knew exactly what I wanted and what was best for me. She sculpted my brows to frame my face perfectly and gave me a really beautiful arch - even my husband noticed how pretty my new brows were! I can't ask for anything more. Nikoletta is the only person who will ever do my brows and make up. She is absolutely professional and knows how to play off your features. She did my wedding make up and has also done my make up for other events. Every time she applies my make up, it's something new and fresh. The products she uses are great for oily/acne prone skin and my face never breaks out. She tweezes my eyebrows and always makes them symmetrical and great.
